I bought this kit to replace a previous versions that had been in use for several years. I was having difficulty establishing a connection using the previous units. However, on plugging in the new units, I had everything up and working again in five minutes. Simply following the provided instructions ‘delivered the goods’. Since installing, I have had no further hiccups or glitches whatsoever. Very satisfied with the product.
Super easy setup
Very easy to setup with current ssid and password. I only get around 7mb but that’s more than enough for me. Considering the power cable is around 15m that’s not too bad. I’m very happy with it so far.
Does the job
After trying various other wi fi extenders I was very pleased with this one. Worked straight outbid the box. Very compact and neat. Working great for my grandson with his PS5.
Excellent Wifi Extende
I decided on an exact replacement for one I had installed in 2018 which was on the blink. It’s a long way from the router in the study to the lounge with tablets and Smart TV etc on the go.
It couldn’t be easier to install and instructions are very clear, Good old BT, for once!

I purchased these to replace a previous set of BT adaptors which failed. They work well, we’re easy to pair and data transfer speed is good.
However, I specifically opted for this set to utilise the hotspot / Wi-Fi repeater function as we have poor signal in the area they will be used. Unfortunately whilst they paired to the Wi-Fi easily the speed is so poor that we have to switch to 4G instead and have now disabled the Wi-Fi function.
Bought this for the PS5 being far from the router it doesn’t work great on WIFI but it works great on LAN I’m able to get the whole speed of my router.
Prefer these to TPLINKS
They worked for me , cloned with my existing network, ditched my access point and no more dropouts. Like the fact that you can connect your patch cords to the top of the plugs as opposed to other manufacturers plugs -TPLINK etc that have to be accessed and plugged in from the from the bottom of the plug.
mine was faulty
It replaced one that failed after 7 years but this one failed after 7 weeks. It is easy to install and gives good Wifi range. Amazon have replaced it without any trouble once I had mastered the Returns and Replacement process
Ethernet over power which allows you to get internet in wifi blackspots
Good value at considering you are getting 2 hotspots. Works as it should even when plugged into the power extension. Best solution for extending internet to areas where your original wifi signal is weak or non existant , definely better than other wireless wifi extenders. Expect to need to unplug and replug the hotspots once a month or so

Realy please with this item. Used it to extend the range of a BT home hub (latest version). It wouldnt work when plugged into a circuit on a different fuse board to the one where the transmitter unit ? was plugged into but really good when moved to a diffrent circuit on the same fuse board as the transmitter. Good stong wi fi signal. Usefull having a diffrent password as its used by a tennant living in a flat in our house.
Would recommend. Usual good Amazon service.
Bypasses original external wall
We have an old 1950s house, with a double extension. As a result we have the original external wall in the middle of the house, and have always struggled to get good wi-fi signal strength from old side (where the router is) to the new, even with wi-fi extenders.
I was slightly sceptical that it would work across the old and new house wiring – but I have been proved wrong.
This Home Hotspot has completely bypassed the problem of the thick walls, providing excellent wi-fi and ethernet pluggins on both sides.
It is exceptionally easy to install and still compatible with our BT wi-fi extender, so the whole house is now covered with no lag-spots.
If you don’t want to spend as much as the BT Whole Home Wi-fi; this Mini Home Hotspot is well worth the money.
Great wi-fi extenders, and super-easy to set-up and use!
These wif-fi extenders are definitely worth considering. They were super-easy to intall. I just plugged them into wall sockets and logged on. My devices automatically pick up the signal from my router or extenders wherever I am in the house and switch-over automatically so I am never without signal. I’m very pleased. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars is that at times I don’t have enough bandwidth from the extenders to stream high-density content even though the base router is achieving 70+mbps, but that is not often.
Lovely! Can finally watch Netflix upstairs
My husband and I live in a townhouse and the wifi signal doesn’t always reach our bedroom which is on the 3rd floor. While trying to watch Netflix on the Wii before, if would always give us a network error code and if it did work, would load slow. But now, it loads fast and our shows run smoothly! I also put the other one downstairs in the study room where the wifi doesn’t always quite reach as well. So far very happy with the purchase, even if it is expensive. Will update if any issues

When we moved house, the Belkin extender we had used for years,failed to work at all due to the thick walls and steel supports in the new house. I purchased this BT model, set it up in minutes, wired up my smart TV in the lounge and got a five bar (excellent) signal. Very pleased… until I tried the laptop in the lounge, wirelessly and although that worked great, five bars again…the TV connection failed. I found that I could have the laptop and TV both wireless, but not one wireless and one wired, even thought the instruction manual said it could be done. After switching around cables, reconnecting the TV etc, without success, I called the BT helpline. It took 20 minutes to get through, but the guy simply said to press the reset button on the hotspot, and hey-ho, it worked. Now I have the TV( wired) and the laptop (wireless) at the same time. Great and well worth the money, despite the little hiccup in setting it up.
I absolutely love this product. For a number of months, I’ve had visitors asking me how I get on with Wi-Fi connection in certain rooms of the house. Why I ask. Because sitting in the lounge and other areas the connection is poor and keeps dropping out, is the usual response. Most of my internet work is done in the study so I don’t have a problem with poor connections. Anyway, I decided to buy the BT Mini Wi-Fi 600 Home Hotspot. It was very easy to setup. Plug one unit into the mains near to where the router is located and connect with the ethernet cable provided. Then plug the other unit into a free socket where Wi-Fi reception is poor – in my case the lounge – and wait for the two units to link. Two minutes later, Wi-Fi reception in the lounge was strong. I strongly recommend this product. My friends will never again be complaining about poor Wi-Fi reception in some areas of my house…..!!
