“How did you come up with the idea for this product?
As a full-time mother, I was constantly frustrated by the lack of kitchenware products that combined high quality, stylish design and affordability. That’s why I founded Clove Kitchenware in 2020. The pandemic further made me realized even more how important it is to take care of our beloved and ourselves. Healthy home cooking is fundamental for that. A small kitchen tool can also make a big difference.
At Clove, the family atmosphere is valued, so our range of products is designed to be efficient, functional, and affordable for everyday use in the home. Why did I not find this earlier?! It’s strong and makes crushing garlic so easy. To clean use a cloth on one side to push the remnants through while holding under a tap
I would not bother using this for a single garlic clove, but for several it makes fast work of them. The resulting garlic pulp has texture so cooks nicely. Provided you rinse and brush the pierced crushing blade straight away, it is very easy to clean.
It feels robust: you need to exert quite a lot of pressure, and it feels well able to stand up to that. If you had arthritis or another hand/wrist problem, this garlic crusher is not for you.
Overall its not a bad gadget as does grind up the garlic quickly , however could be a tad sharper as had to go over the same bit of garlic a few times .
This is pretty good for mincing up several garlic cloves one after the other as it all forms a pile in the curve.
The only thing I’d say is that you have to press down quite firmly and then rock it a few times to get results.
The little brush is good to poke out bits of garlic while washing up too.
All in all a good product!
This product is fantastic. Main selling points are durability and ease of use. Requires a lot less pressure than normal garlic presses and also hasn’t broke yet like every other garlic press I’ve bought has
Is there anything worse than the traditional squeeze garlic press ? Hard to press, hard to clean. My wife has bad wrists so can’t use them so I found this which is a good alternative. It still requires pressure but with a little and some sideways movement while using it works really well. Would recommend if you’re fed up with garlic presses !
Doesn’t seem to be magnetic so not sure what the material is but..
It is sturdy and did mince 2 bulbs of garlic, I used it to press the cloves and help release the shell, too.
I’m sure there is a lot of micro-spray, as my shirt stinks afterwards, though I stand at a distance, but I guess that can’t be helped, some bigger bits don’t crush very well, but it gives irregular mince which I actually like. I Quarter the cloves before I mince them and have never used a garlic press so can’t compare. I actually bought this instead of my first hand press as it seemed sturdier/more hygienic.
After using several other types this beats them all easy to use and you don’t have to use massive force. Cleans easy too not like the crusher types that don’t crush fully.
Bought this as an alternative to a “usual” garlic press as I find them such a faff to clean, this one has been very easy to use and even easier to clean!
I was really dubious about how this would work as I was struggling using a garlic press. But once you’ve pressed down, just an easy rocking motion and job done ! Comfortable to use and well made. Would recommend.
Great product, looks really nice and easily crushes lots of garlic. I like the bag that comes with it too. Got one for my mum also and she’s really happy with it.
