Good for the money
Got this as a cheap meter for checking battery voltages. Wouldn’t use it for any electronic design / assembly but it’s handy to have in the car and not the end of the world if it’s lost / broken.
Only thing I don’t like is that the backlight doesn’t stay on for long enough after pressing the button.
Good value item, easy to use, with the added feature of ‘audible’ continuity checking functionality. However, the leads/cables are quite short, which makes some testing quite awkward (especially with hard to reach components). The ‘backlight’ functionality is also useful/required, but this also doesn’t stay lit for long enough. Very easy to use though.
Multimete
Product appears to be well made and is easy to use. It does everything I need it to do. It is light and portable and does the job. Good price and quick delivery. What’s not to like.
Seems OK
I haven’t used it much yet, I bought it as part of a project to build up a dedicated tool kit for the caravan, to save me keep hauling tools back and forth to the storage centre from home every time I’ve got a little task to do. Looks OK, I’ll report back when I’ve used it for a while!
It's a nice little meter for the price.
I’m a Biomedical Engineer, and have a few different high end meters for various jobs. I just wanted a cheap one to keep in my desk to save having to go out to the van, or workshop to get one. The leads are a bit flimsy, but unless you intend to measure current, in circuit, then that shouldn’t be cause for concern. For DIY it seems like a very nice little meter for the money.
