This was required for a one-off use so I looked for something from a previously tried and tested brand. It was purchased to break down some brick encountered during a garden renovation. The bolster was easy to use and with the grip, acted as a good shock absorber. I was expecting to see the blade blemished following use, however it remained in perfect condition and will be there should I require it again. The only downside on the grip is that it slips quite easily and frequently required putting back in place. Thank you for this good, reliable tool.

i wanted to relocate a paving circle but 4 slabs out of the 21 lifted with the 4 inch mortar bed stuck solidly to the slabs….i wanted to reuse them but my builder said no way would the mortar come off without breaking the slabs….i had nothing to lose so i bought this chisel……it wasnt easy but it worked and now i have 21 slabs and dont have to go to the expensive of buying another paving circle

Great value brick bolster, comfortable handle gripper which does move so needs to be fixed periodically. Dont know how good it would be for commercial use but for the jobs I used it for so far it was great. Appears to be durable but I’ve not miss hit the handle yet so can’t comment on the guard.

Bought this for taking up carpet gripper rods. Probably overkill but I didn’t want to faff around with smaller chisel.

Sturdy and well made only thing I have noticed is when hitting the bolster the handle moves meaning you have to tap back down.

    Overall good for the price.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWell I lost this on a job but it was absolutely brilliant while I had it. Stayed sharp the whole time and made cutting blocks a doddle. I’ll definitely be buying another and I can fully recommend it.
