I use this twine for all sorts of things, particularly in the garden. It does what you would expect. Unfortunately, the birds love it too. No matter how well I tie knots in it, eventually the birds untie it or peck through it, then nick it presumably for nesting material. I forgive them, and buy more of it.
Recommended.
Useful string for the garde
I use this in the garden for tying up plants. It works well, so far hasn’t broken or rotted. Canes that I tied together last year are still bound well. It blends in with plants and fades to a silvery grey colour.
Perfect for my crafting
I bought this to use as a bit of added decoration to my crafted vases, perfect for what I needed it for and quite strong too. I’ve had similar in the past but find the bits flake off a lot but this doesn’t which is great as I don’t want to give customers items that will make a mess.
No Complaints whatsoever!
I’d ordered this Jute Twine to tie back young plants. It’s pretty strong and has certainly done the job. I ordered a 6 ply to tie back the likes of heavier shrubs; hydrangeas, rhododendrons, etc.. But, this, as I say, certainly did the trick and 500m for 5.99 – I would certainly pay more at a garden centre, so am very happy indeed.
Good product - but remember that jute smells
I bought this to knit some dishcloths the jute string knit fairly easily.
One thing to note is that jute has a particular smell – a bit like a dusty old basement (this is perfectly normal and to be expected, I had just forgotten). If you can go beyond this, then it’s perfect for the purpose of making dishcloths.
This product is amazing
I bought this product to hang hay and attach toys for my rabbit. It works excellently; my rabbit hasn’t bitten through it yet! This product is durable and versatile. It is great for any season, e.g. gifts and presents to loved ones. I would highly recommend, it is a great quality product, and when mine runs out, I will definitely getting more! 🙂
Not the best.
I wanted a roll of string rather than a ball of string to go in a string dispenser tin and it ticked that box.
Its not as thick as the string i had been using which is a pity as it obviously wont have the strength but is more likely to cut into the stems of plants on windy days.
Remember when you put it :)
I have bought this 3 times now .. why ? Because I keep forgetting where I put it .. so somewhere around the house there are another 2 rolls of this twine waiting to be found rofl. We use it in the garden to loosely tie plants to stakes and temporarily hold up fencing that fallen down due to the heavy winds we have had the last few years. I have had no problems using it for this reason and I am sure similar uses will be just as useful.
