Used to protect varnished stair steps. Whilst painting
Very fiddly to fit and cut. Had to mask edges as impossible to get it ip to the edges.
But when down protected perfectly and withstood alot of traffic.

I bought this to cover some windows when rendering a house. Works a treat as you can see in the picture. Sticks well enough to apply but I would advise a two person job to make application much easier, no faffing with two of you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works for intended purpose of covering an outside window.

I have used the roll and stroll carpet before and I was aware they did one that wasn’t as tacky. I have Lvt flooring which is waterproof plastic click flooring, I wanted something to protect this when plastering.

This did such a great job to keep the plaster from sticking to the floor and makes the removal and clean up so much easier.

I did a full room of around 9m2 unfortunately I needed more for a walkway but never mind.

I used this to cover my wood floors while plastering and paint our living room. I was easy to use and provided great protection. Clean up was really quick instead of hours and no plaster, paint or water got on the floor. I would recommend this and I will get it again when I decorate next.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed it for protecting Windows etc while apply texture coating on outside walls. Unfortunately, the sticky side is on the outside of the roll so picked up debris. Have previously used similar product purchased elsewhere which was superior in all aspects. Overall this did the job.

This protecting film certainly did the job of saving my laminate floor when some plasterers completed some work for us. It’s very fiddly to put down though as it’s so sticky, it just sticks to itself. Once it does that, there’s no unsticking it. Wasted a bit of the roll because of that but when another pair of hands was available to help, soon got it sorted. It didn’t look pretty, there were lots of creases but it did the job well enough.

So this product is probably excellent but I must admit I had some trouble getting used to it. It catches at time like sellotape if the sticky edges meet which is frustrating but due to me being new to it.

It had a good adhesive which doesn’t leave any stickiness on the floor when removed. It offers good protection and is reasonably prices.

Perfect for temporarily protecting the flooring in high traffic areas. Only tried on hard floor: does not stick too much so we were able to remove it easily without damaging the floor and it sticks enough to stay down as much as needed (even with some air trapped under).

We were moving into a new house while it was raining, we couldn’t take off our muddy shoes every 5 minutes while carrying boxes/furnitures and this floor protector definitely helped in making the process a bit easier. Less hassle and less stress for less than ~12.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersBought some of this stuff in advance of moving house, not trusting the removers to get it right (which they didn’t!). It’s a bit tricky to get down (it helps to have two people, particularly when cutting) but once you get the knack it’s fine. Slowing down, as is often the case, usually results in good results. It stuck down well with no lifting for the week or so it was down. I would use this again without hesitation and indeed I would use it if doing substantial DIY messy work in the house now I think,

I bought some of the corresponding carpet floor stuff as well and both products worked well. Really have no complaints, it did what I needed it to do and i didn’t feel the cost was unreasonable.

Paid for with my own money so if useful, take half a second to give me a thumbs up thanks / helpful!!

I have used the Carpet product from this supplier so went for this for hard floors. It is not as sticky which is good as you do not want to pull up any finish when you remove it. Important to roll it out carefully as it will stick to itself. I had it down for over a week and it came up with no issue. I will certaily use this product again if the need arrises. One roll covered nearly the whole of a 5x3m room with a reasonable overlap so goog value for money.

We used this to cover all round the edges of a room on an oak floor. There is a knack to laying it down, and it is easier with two people. It is low tack so you need a lot of contact with the floor to stop it moving, so the first bit is tricky, and easier if someone else stands on it where you start. The recommended broom technique worked well, once the start is down you push the roll out and smooth it with the broom as you go, the more you walk on it and brush it onto the floor the better it sticks. Once down all around and walked on regularly it seemed to stick down much better. It was hard to get a perfect edge without a gap, so we used a strip of masking tape to cover any gap between the Roll & Stroll and the skirting. It was much better for working on and putting you steps on that lumpy dust sheets, and no chance or stray gaps appearing. It is still in place, so will update on how well it lifts , but I don’t think it will be an issue. It can’t be reused of course, so rather wasteful, so we only used it around the edges of the room. I can imaging that a less smooth surface would be more difficult to get it to stay put.

Ok so this works well, I used it to protect a jar den floor whilst painting. Word of advice though use it straight away, I prepared it the night before and it peeled at the sides, think this was due to the heating through the night. All in all a good produc

I was after something to cover some worktops in the kitchen for a week.
This was perfect and performed well being resilient and sticky enough to last without any issues.
I found it almost impossible to apply without creases but fortunately that was not an issue for my application. around the sink area I made the mistake of not drying the surface properly so it did not stick to the slight dampness and did not allow it to dry but for my application this was not an issue.
When I came to remove it after a week it was easy and clean to remove. I was even able to save most of it and use for some other applications. The role had more than I need, I am very pleased with the product and should I need more will absolutely buy again.

Found it easy to lay down providing the run has no obstructions like radiator pipes. However as i was trying to get the film tight into the skirting boards i had difficulty in seeing the edge of the film. I would suggest the edges could be black so that it is easier to see when the film drifts out of line.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUsed this on my kitchen floor which is karndean – saved the day ! I had it down for a couple weeks (more than recommended)

Didn’t leave any noticeable marks and was pretty easy to put down.

I had some left over so I ended up using on my granite worktop without issue.

Whenever I come to paint again will definitely use this as I always end up getting over the floor.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a good product and good value for money. I used it on bare floorboards to protect them when pulling ceilings down. It was not completely adhesive and I had to use duct tape as well, but the floor surface was not ideal and I can imagine this sticking much better to a finished floor. I really liked the design with the sticky side on the outside which makes it easy to roll out. It protected the floor extremely well and was easy to clear up.

This arrived very well packaged. Do not do what my husband did and cut the packing with a Stanley knife – he cut the roll which was very annoying.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSupplied as described and on time. This was reasonably easy to apply and lasted
for the 4 weeks of my project. I had to use tape on certain areas where it would not stick
very well to polished wood floor however this still afforded the floor good protection.
During the work I made several repairs to the product where torn with tape which kept
the floor protected. On removal floor was in good condition. Well worth applying this
product, avoid cheaper alternatives which are thinner, harder to apply and wear quickly.
I would be happy to recommend this product and will use it again.
