Was sick of buying cat litter that didn’t absorb the moisture or would stick to the bottom of the litter tray. Was really easy to clean out of the tray and didn’t cause any scratches to the trays. Great to use, didn’t cause any smells either.
I bought this cat litter on the 3rd March for 6.99 and its very good so I thought I would re-order but now found that the same product is 11.64. Whats all that about ? Will be looking for alternatives.
Just before Christmas my cat went back to using a tray. She’s 16.3/4 now. She’s still going outside to mainly poop, and uses the litter during the night and to mainly pee in.
Works well and I get about 4 days, before I have to change it. I prefer this to the clumping type, because I find it less work. The pieces of litter are larger than catsan, there’s no odour and less dust than the clumping type. I’d actually score it a 4.4 and catsan 5 which is my preferred one. Only problem is that catsan is more expensive, but does give me a full week of use.
This is a great, cheaper alternative to catsan.
I use this for our pet rabbits toilet trays. I need to change every day as it gets soggy >> poop & wee sink to the bottom. But it’s better than using wood shavings or the likes…
Have bought this several times as my cats an indoor oldie now. Does what it says, not as absorbent as some of premium brands but think for price n quantity good value for money. Can recommend.
Fine but at a cos
Our cat loves to pi55. She loves it. It feels like every 5 mins she’s doing another peeper. As such we have become accustomed to changing this litter or whatever. BUT what we never get used to is the amount that gets stuck on her paws and ends up halfway across the room. Our cat is like 20 so it’s not that surprising that it might just be her managing this. But yeah. Beware the stones are small enough that that can happen and you’ll end up hoovering up a lot.
It can stick to the litter tray but regularly changing the litter helps.
Great litter for the fussy cat.
Thank goodness I was browsing cat litter that day! My little old elderly lady has got more fussy as she’s got older.
I was buying litter from the ‘cheap’ shop and then Morrison’s 4 odd a 10 ltr bag, she hated it, sharp bits and clumpy, which meant she couldn’t scrat about in it to cover up her ‘do’s’. This litter is a bless-ed relief, does what it says on the bag… no clumping, no old cat ‘odour’, easy to remove the ‘do’, I top it up with a couple of [old!] ladle ful’s of the litter every day, and I’ve found if I scatter a bit of table salt where she has had a wee, it dries that bit up and helps take down the smell. Anyway ClioCatra seems happy and I think it’s worth the couple of ‘s extra just not to have to change the litter tray EVERY day.
