You know you get gifts like this and think what a load of rubbish.
    But hold on!!!
This is one amazing little gift.
This product very well made and is quite heavy.
We took it camping and used more or less all of the features.
Just a perfect all round gif

We bought this tool as a Father’s Day gift from our daughter. We’re really pleased with it. There are a couple of different messages on the handle to choose from. Our daughter selected “Thank you for helping build my life.” The multi-tool is very good quality, and it is sturdy/strong. The knives are VERY sharp. A really brilliant gift! I would thoroughly recommend this multi-tool as a gift to yourself or anyone else.

This is a great little gadget for anyone to have. It’s well made and has some solid weight to it. Each tool is easy to access. Handy to keep in your car or handbag even. Very nice novelty but practical item.

Handy little tool, I saw this and thought it would be a great little stocking filler gift from the kids to their Dad.
It’s sturdy and decently made and comes in a nice pouch too. The actual box is just a plain brown style.
    Great gift very happy

A reasonable sized multitool with a nicely engraved handle to be given as a gift to the Dad in your life. Comes in a nice looking storage pouch.

The hammer works quite well notwithstanding that the handle isn’t the easiest to hold because of all the other gadgets and gizmos packed into it. I would think most DIY dads would have a reasonable set of tools that have far greater functionality. Thus this is a bit of a gimmick!

I brought this for my dad. He loves his gadgets, and he loved this more when he saw the motto on the handle.

Quick delivery, well packaged and as described. Great price.

This is a nifty tool to have and I do find it useful and have already used it a few times re the hammer.

I can open most of the tools and there is a very handy storage bag if needed. I did store it in the pouch but then found I was using the tools a lot so it has been kept out of the pouch for now.

I like that there is a caribiner clip if needed.

I would definitely buy again if needed and may even get a spare one.

Got this for my partner since he never can seem to find our tool box when something needs hanging up with a hammer (in his defense, our cupboard where we keep it is absolutely filled to the brim) This little handy hammer/multitool feels pretty good, and it has enough weight on it to be useful (the hammer part)

Could have skipped the cheesy inscription though, a simple “Dad” would have been better.

It’s ok for what it is! It works pretty well. Doesn’t feel too well put together but works and does the job. The engraving is pretty cheesy I can’t lie but does the job!

A compact little set of tools in a well presented package. Comes with a small canvas bag for storage and a clip for attaching to a belt or hanging up somewhere.
The only trouble with having the multitools is it isn’t that comfortable to hold the tool when using the hammer. Alright to bash in a few nails from time to time, but prolonged use does tend to hurt my fingers after a while.

The other issue I had was I couldn’t get the extra tools to go back into the handle and was concerned they might spring back and hit me in the fingers – especially the knife as it is quite sharp. Could probably do with a few basic instructions for those who aren’t used to this sort of tool.

Quality of the metal is a little lacking in my opinion. It is weighty, but the metal feels not quite as high a quality finish as it should be. However, I cannot fault that the tool itself works fine for bashing in nails along with the other multitude of useful tools in one convenient package.

Does it make a good gift? Well yes. As a multitool would say this would make a nice gift. If however you want to use it as your only tool, it might be better to invest in a proper set. It’s a nice gadget and does the job, just not something that could be relied on totally.

At the time of writing the tool costs 17 – down from 20 – which is a more reasonable price for what this is. Overall it is a good product.

This all in one mini hammer multi tool arrived in the black fabric pouch in a little cardboard box.
It meant to be a gift, so I would expect gift box and better presentation.

This gadget looks and feels well made, sturdy and durable.
It is comfortable to grip, hold and use. Unfortunately user guide wasn’t supplied…
If gifted wouldn’t be good to forward the listing with video user guide, manual should be printed and included in the box, even if the tool is straightforward to use.

I have it with wooden handle version for husband.
Engraving is OK, it makes this tool personalised.

Reasonable quality gadget, multifunctional, usable, but of course would not replace proper tools, a bit pricey.

Novelty multi tool product shaped like a hammer (yes you can use it as such)

Can be inscribed with a variety of messages (where is no message as it would make a great gift for someone and perhaps no message is required or even perhaps the persons name??)

So this thing is basically a swiss army knife type, saw, blade, screwdrivers, pliers etc you get the idea.

A tool that I am sure will have its uses at some point and a decent price point as a gift.

I was genuinely expecting this to actually say “Love Forever Wood” as that was hilarious.

It doesn’t – it says “You’re the best thing that ever happened to me”.

None of the messages are terrible, but I can’t help but think the tool would more appealing without any of them.

Price point means this is not going to be the best forged metal, but as interesting multi-tool, the addition of a hammer is an interesting variation in combination with the pliers/grips.

In other respects it’s then much like a larger pocket knife tool, with blades, and screw drivers.
The size does impact on the portability, perhaps.

As a stocking filler gift the price point is pretty good, and the tool seems well enough made to withstand occasional use.
The usual caveats apply to a new form the packaging review.

What a brilliant little bit of kit, I know my husband will love this little surprise sticking filler this Christmas, I’m a woman and I love it, such a handy little multi tool, that’s not too heavy and only palm size!
Space saver tool for sure, comes in a very handy strong and protective pouch that fastens up with a strong press stud button, on the back of the pouch it has a belt look, great for a handy man to do the little jobs, just perfect, 14-in-1 where everything folds away within the hammer handle, including hammer, nail claw, flat & pipe grip pliers, wire cutter, sprung handle, Philips screwdriver, Sml slotted screwdriver, bottle/can opener, knife, flathead screwdriver, nail file, serrated knife, handle loop catch.
So many tools in one palm sized gadget tool. I think this would make a great gift for anyone over the age of 18!

I like the inscription on it saying. To My Love.. LOVE TOU MORE, THE END, I WIN! lol I win

Not bad for the price 19.99 when ordering, good quality throughout.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous multi tool, my hubby will love this when I give it to him at Christmas 🎄

This is a great and versatile multi-tool. The only questionable decision for me is the engraving – very exclusively a ‘gift for dad’; what if you wanted to give to someone who isn’t actually your dad? As a marketing strategy, it seems to be limiting their potential sales. I got one for my son who has just started uni and living away from home for the first time and I thought it would be a handy thing to have. Without the ‘dad’ engraving, I’d have given it as one of his Christmas presents but now I can’t really do that. I’ll have to give it to him with a bit of a wry smile and ‘I know this says dad but I thought I’d be handy ‘ Maybe just a nice ‘dad’ gift box or something would make more sense.
However, that being said, it is a nice little multi-tool, a bit different from many others. The key difference is the hammer head, which most others don’t have and will be very useful at certain times. It’s a claw hammer too so you can use the other end to pull out nails etc. If you pull the metal band down, it releases the curved arm on the side which is the second arm of the pliers that are, in fact, the two halves of the hammer head. This has a thin serrated gripping part, a larger serrated aperture and finally a wire clipper. The curved arm has a steel spring to open the jaws when you release your grip.
In other places the tool has quite a big knife blade, a file which also has a serrated saw edge, a bottle/can opener blade plus a Phillips head screwdriver and a very tiny flat head screwdriver. So lots of functions.
It comes with a canvas sheath/pocket with a belt loop and a pop-closed cover. There’s also a carabiner looped through the metal band that keeps the plier arm closed, though that doesn’t look that convenient to me, it might have been better to just drill a hole through the handle to take the carabiner, but that’s not a big issue since you have the belt-pocket.
So, all in all, this is a solid, sturdy versatile tool with lots of different functionality and would make an ideal gift for many dads. An ideal gift for lots of people who aren’t dads, too, except for that niche engraving!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great multi-tool - but only for your dad?!

    Multi-tool – love forever

The multi-tool comes with a closable black nylon holder which you can attach to a belt (6.5cm loop).
The tool is quite robust and heavy at ~300g and is 13.5cm long and 7cm wide at the hammer end.

    Points to note
    – no instructions are included, so you might need to refer back to the Amazon listing video, though its quite easy to use – catch around the bottom of the handle lets the wrench open.
    – you get a number of pen knife type blades, screwdriver, bottle opener – these can either be opened to 90 degrees (right angle to the handle) or the blade types open 180 degrees and stick out below the handle end.
    – given the number of different bits of metal protruding you might want to wear gloves
    – the wrench has a very small opening (about 1.8cm)
    – the clip on the end is a bit insubstantial
    – the text on the item is a bit naff, and rather restricts the recipients (e.g. giving to a brother)

The tool arrives wrapped in a plastic in its carrying case inside a plain brown cardboard box. No product information or instructions are included

Overall – probably falls between two stools, too bulky to carry round all the time and not ideal for any jobs where a full sized tool would be easier. Definitely more of a gadget.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bit large/heavy to carry round all the time, inscription not grea

Useful gadget that comes with a great sentiment engraved on the handle, is handy for camping or in the garden. Carry case with belt loop. There are no instructions as to how to lock and unlock the various tools.
There is a saw with a file on side and a flathead screwdriver on end. Then a second Saw and a crosshead screwdriver, all of these lock in place and then need to be unlocked to fold back into the handle. There is a set of pliers that are also wire cutters and a hammer. The pliers have a lock/unlock with a spring to open.
Overall a handy little tool to have in the garden shed. Would make a great tree present.
