If your looking for paper then go no further. This was perfect for printing and drawing pics of anything you want. Me personally like to draw houses and sometimes even have people inside maybe in fires etc which came to life on this perfect paper.
As previously mentioned these are not a fellowes product, but they are absolutely fine. I’ve just laminated 5 items all printed on 140gsm card.
My machine is for lightweight pouches up to 80 micron…which these are. I bought thicker pouches in the past and had poor results, so I’d say that purchasers need to check their machine first and buy the pouches that match. Very happy, whatever name is on the packe
bought to use with Rexel Style A4 home and office laminator, White, 2104511 and it works very well on standard paper. Get a good seal that you can cut round and virtually no rippling.
Used 10-15 times so far and only one wrinkled, which could have been user error.
Doesn’t work well with thicker paper / card – but that probably says more about the laminator.
Although thin, look like they will stand up to moderate usage
These seem to do the job well. I’ve had laminating pouches which gather up in the laminator despite inserting correctly and end up soiling the paper your laminating!
However I’ve used these a handful of times now and I’m satisfied that these are good quality. I’ve laminated flag’s and made flag bunting for my children’s climbing frame looks great and water resistant . You get lots in a pack too. 5/5
After going round from shop to shop to find laminating pouches which is very difficult as they are mainly all sold out then I remember to go onto Amazon go to next day hey hell of a lot cheaper and faste
Have bought these three times now and they are excellent value for money and I only had to pay about three pounds more than usual (bought two other things too) since Brexit so happy days! Highly recommend as great product and they still arrive here in France very quickly. Thanks.
Used for school cards, no problems at all. Laminated well. Just be sure to check laminated pockets are suitable for your laminator as thicker quality will need a higher temperature adjustment if your laminator has this on the settings.
TA in a school and these did what i needed them to do. no puckering.
They arrived in a plain box not as per the picture but quality appears ok, not thick pouches but that is fine for what i needed.
-They are 150(2×75) Micron. Each sheet is a stated 75-80 Micron thick, and since you laminate both sides, that’s 2x 75-80 Micron sheets.
-They work like a laminating sheet should do. How they will last over time (using them to laminate Print+Play board game pieces) is a mystery though.
Cons:
-The picture shown is not even remotely the same as the box I got. I got Apex brand, like the title says. Not the German brand shown in the picture.
I am very happy with these pouches. I purchased this and 250 microns to try out for a project, and I concluded that some laminators, mine included, had issues laminating something as thick as 250 microns evenly, and my results with 150 microns were far superior.
These pouches laminate well to themselves, and also better to the paper inside them than anything else I have seen, so much so that I have taken to not let plastic against plastic make an outer edge on many things, but even cutting into the laminated paper when trimming with no fear of delamination. Unless it is something that needs to withstand rough treatment or water, in which case I still leave a plastic edge.
When my current pack of 100 runs out, I am sure to buy the same again.
As for Micron thickness, there seems some confusion in some of these reviews; most laminators will take a range of Micron thickness laminating paper no problem, laminators which generally take the lower micron range will usually require the insert card which is supplied. And the thicker 200 and 250 Micron thickness is usually used for photography. There is little concern that these will work in nearly all laminators.
