Possibly the best Shredder.
Use in home to shred all personal information etc., from letters, bills, correspondence, junk mail which has my name and address before recycling.
This is my second unit.
I overloaded the first one, jamming it and breaking the gears.
Be sure to lightly lubricate the cutter mechanism frequently as paper dust can accumulate and cause strain on the motor.
Works a treat. If you use it enough to fill up the bin, it shuts off due to having got a bit warm. It doesn’t take too long to cool down so it can be used again. I’ve gone through about 7 loads over a few days and it’s worked every time, cleared a load of old documents away and securely shredded them into small pieces. It works best with only a few pieces of paper at a time. It says 6 max and it does do it but it sounds like it’s working hard, best to pop 3 sheets at a time through it and it chews through quicker. Quite noisy but then it is mincing paper into little shreds.
It’s a really quiet shredder.
Certainly lasts right up to the 3 mins max that’s recommended.
It is really essential to read the instructions, it tells you all you need to know about the particular model.
If purchasing to use to shred stuff a few times a day, every day then maybe its not for you, but for anyone wanting a shredder for household use, you really can’t go wrong, it’s perfect.
I had a lot of stuff awaiting shredding, as have been without one for the last few months, and it coped with it all in one evening, giving it the recommended usage.

It does the job
It seems to be great. It is for home use, so small amounts here and there.
I had no need to read the instructions as it’s very simple.
It does well with four sheets a time, is fairly quick albeit a wee bit noisy, which is to be expected.
All in all I’m happy with this purchase.
It arrived very quickly and securely.
Bought this to replace a previous fellowes shredder which had got wet n a burst pipe incident. This one was possibly cheaper than the other one, but it seems much better. I rarely find bits of paper left in the mechanism after use. A feature I particularly like is that it can be run forwards as well as backwards without paper to clear any paper residue left after use. Our previous one only ran in reverse so this is a better design.
Shreds paper effectively and fast.
Fast shredder that cuts up at least 8 pages. Best shredder to date. Really pleased.
When overworked waited the suggested amount of time and then the shredder came back to life.
I needed a replacement for a shredder that had broken. This looked OK and basically is. I wouldn’t push it to the claimed amount of sheets of paper it is supposed to take or I think you could end up with it struggling. It is much quieter than my last one which is a good thing.
A couple of downsides – it is a bit front heavy and is easy to tip over forwards if you are not careful. The cable coming out of the back means that you cannot place it flush to wall or any other surface, it has to stand proud a little.
