Purchased these room thermometer’s due to central heating issues. We needed to know which area’s of the house were getting warm or cold etc. These little thermometers were perfect for the job. Not too big or small. They only require a button battery for operation, so no other power supply is required. I find they can be stuck to the wall easily with a bit of blu-tac. The display is also a good clear size and the battery life seems to last quite a long time.
These are small, which is great for unobtrusively putting them around the house. Lots of interesting inisghts have been gained, e.g. it’s 1.5 to 2 degrees hotter near the ceiling upstairs than in the hall – maybe should put a fan at the top of the stairs; it was actually colder than I thought, as I’d been telling the fam to turn the heating down all the time (guess who pays the bills).
Good for the price. Each unit worked fine, although like others have said, there was a slight difference in readings from each one, even when placed in the same location.
They work for what I needed them for, so I have no complaints, and for the price I’d happily recommend them.
Just note, they are very small, but that’s fine for me.
ONE OF THE FOUR THERMOMETERS ARRIVED DAMAGED. THE NUMBERS FOR THE TEMPERATURE READING DO NOT SHOW. THE OTHER THREE UNITS WORK WELL AND ARE ACCURATE FOR THE PRICE. I communicated with the seller and they will send me a replacement thermometer so at least they replied and solved the problem
Simply place where you need, on a table or shelf, or use the included sticky pads and you could stick to a window or wall.
Accuracy of the temperature was within 0.2C of my hive thermostat when sat next to it. I mainly bought for the Hygrometer and it works well, I can’t measure the accuracy but when turning on and off a dehumidifier, it lowered (after some time) when it was in use.
They are just what we were looking for small and compact.
After buying small heaters we wanted to see how good they were and they showed us both things are working just fine.
Pleased with the price as well
We were looking for a clock that also showed temperature and most importantly humidity as we thought one of our rooms has very high humidity. We came across this and although this does not show time, it showed both temperature and humidity and looked very reasonable price for 2 of these so we ordered to use in both rooms. We were a bit disappointed with the size as you have to see it from close to be able to see the readings but it does show quite accurate readings which also update quickly and the kids love the happy or sad face.
