You can adjust this on different pans and bowls. Really easy to use and resistant to heat.

I would say the only bad thing is that it’s not as easy to clean as little things get stuck in the holes.

In the box there are 1 red and 1 black strainer, I got these as I am always trying to tip the liquid out of my pan without losing the food which nearly every time never works, these so far have been brilliant they can fit all of my pans and they clip on so they are very secure, I am not sure if over time they might scratch the pan. They are made of silicone which is very easy to clean

Overall I would be happy to recommend these they make it much easier to drain food.

These are quite heavy but they do work. They clip onto the side of any size pan and are very secure for draining. I don’t like the weight as it adds more weight to some of my already heavy pans but I do like the versatility and flexibility to use on any size pan.

These one sides strainers have been brilliant. It makes it easy to drain pots of pasta or bowls of washed fruit foe example, but make sure that it isn’t too full as the contents could spill over as it only covers a curve of the whole pot. The silicone material makes it easy to clean and easy to molde into the shape of different sized pots.
Quite stupidly I didn’t realise how the clips at either side worked so I used it upside down a couple of times and though it was weird that the was a gap and after realising my mistake I was amazed at how ileasy it is to use. The clips are brilliant as the allow you to attach the strainer to the pot so that you don’t have to worry about holding it in place, and they bring no damage to the pits at all.

Ever tried to juggle a pan of wriggly spaghetti in a pan which needs both hands, and a strainer? It wasn’t until I was given a couple of pans with two small handles either side instead of one long one that I realised how difficult it was to drain the water out of them. A colander works well, but take up quite a lot of room and as my kitchen is tiny and I’m out of wall space, storing such an item is tricky. So, anyway, I’ve tested these with various things such as that aforementioned wriggly pasta, spuds beans, carrots and all drain well.

These strainers measure 21cms, with a strainer lip of 7cms and work well in pans with a 16cms to 24cms diameter– I haven’t anything larger than that so can’t vouch for their effectiveness at anything bigger then 24cms. The side with the two clips is 5cms deep, and speaking of those clips, they are very strong and are covered in silicone to prevent scratching. They’re quite flexible, being made of silicone, hold on to the pan well, are easily removed and dishwasher safe.

I can’t comment on value for money as they’re currently unavailable, but they’re certainly useful items in my kitchen — and they’re easy to store in the pan drawer.

Saves washing up compared to the big sieve or colander. Clips onto the edge of the saucepan so that it retains what is in the saucepan and lets the fluid out. The clip bit is metal. The rest is silicone. They are sized to fit two of the pans that I have but if you use a lot of different pans it might be a problem because you can’t adjust the Arc size.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have tried thiese on saucepans of three sizes, from a little milk pan to a big pot I use for pasta; I have also used them on a frying pan. I found they did not fit on my wok at all. It is easy to attach and holds very well, though I noticed some scratching on my stainless steel pasta pot. That wasn’t a major issue because the thing gets scratched anyway when I’m stirring it or serving up, but if you use pans with a non-stick coating or have very shiny copper pans, it might be a problem.

On the frying pan they worked pretty well when I strained fat from stir fry foods. The same applied to all the saucepans for draining off water from boiling veg or pasta. I did find that though they hold in place perfectly, and nothing slips under at the bottom, you have to be very careful the angle you hold the pans at or stuff tumbles over the top; they could do with being a bit bigger. On the smallest pan, though, I had no trouble at all. On the whole I found them more convenient than separate strainers, unless i was cooking pasta, which all fell over the top.

Good product that makes straining liquids from your pans etc an absolute breeze.

I always would use a pan lid and try and leave a big enough gap to remove the water and small enough so no food escapes 🙂 no more with these an absolutely fantastic tool and valuable for any kitchen.

This 2 pack of strainers is great. Solves the problem of losing food down the sink when you are trying to drain pasta or potatoes etc. Also solves the problem of trying to list a heavy sauce pan with one hand and hold a colander in the other while simultaneously trying to drain liquids. Super easy to use. Just clip them on and poor. The food stops at the generous lip and the liquid drains away. Really easy to clean and store. A great solution for really annoying kitchen problems. Exceeded all my expectations.

These food strainers are absolutely brilliant! They are an excellent fit for all sizes of saucepans that I have, from the largest to the smallest of milk pans, with one minor exception. Medium sized and smaller saucepans which have a small helper handle opposite the main handle will not accomodate the strainer as I have tried to illustrate with pictures 4 and 5 of my review. This is because there is insufficient distance around the circumference of the saucepan between these two points for the size of the strainer. My first picture shows a larger saucepan with a helper handle and there is no difficulty fitting the strainer to it. My 6th picture shows it attached to the side of a very small milk pan with no difficulty. This strainer will fit equally well onto glass jugs, and the fact that it fits easily onto large, cast iron casseroles is a great bonus as they are so heavy to lift single handed. For use with all of these containers, it does away with the need to transfer the contents to a seperate strainer/ collander and then return the contents back to the original pan, for example in the case of pasta for the addition of sauces etc. They make a close fit with the inside face of all pans as they are so flexible, and can be adjusted by moving the clips closer together or farther apart. Simple! They also have a pouring lip/ spout.
The strainers are good heavy duty Silicone. They was very easy indeed to clean and to my surprise, much more easy than a bulky stainless steel collander. They have very strong steel clips for attaching them. I was worried they may not hold back a pan of potatoes being drained but I needn’t have worried. The strainer held everything back perfectly. I have used them twice already on a large pan used to cook Tagliatelle with complete success and was delighted not to end up with a sticky collander and cooled pasta by the time I transferred it back into the large saucepan. All so much simpler and cleaner. They hand wash so easily and actually under running water, rinsed free of pasta before I even put them into a basin of hot suds. They are also dishwasher safe though as yet I haven’t felt dishwashing to be necessary. Would I recommend these? Without any hesitation. Somethimg which will get frequent use in my home. They are not a passing gimmick that will end up languishing in a drawer somewhere. They are very pracrical and do what they claim to do. I am so pleased to have these!

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT. PRACTICAL. STURDY. DO WHAT THEY CLAIM. REALLY PLEASED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ME.

I’m pretty much a happy chappie with these silicone, fine mesh strainers and they now have pride of place as my go to potato and veg strainers. If I’m honest, at first sight, I didn’t think that these strainers were going to be of any use for my smaller pans. However, with the two heavy duty securing clips and the flexibility of silicone, I’ve had no problem regardless of which pans I use.

I also found them to be a great aid when I’m boiling bones for stock as the bones retain fierce amounts of heat but now straining of the stock and dumping the hot bones has become an easy task.

The strainers are easy to clean, manufactured from quality, robust silicone and look and feel tough enough to be around the kitchen for quite some time. At the time of writing, they have no stated retail price so I can’t judge on the strainers value for money but I can say without hesitation that this is a good quality product.

You get two different coloured silicone mesh strainers, strangely they are both exactly the same size. I expected that they might be two different sizes to fit more pans and bowls but as it turns out they seem to fit pretty much any sized pan or bowl anyway. As you can see in the pictures, when fitted to a small pan (7.5 inches in the picture) they bulge up in the middle which is not a problem at all when straining. They also fitted my enormous 12 inch pan that I use when making large batches or boiling a whole gammon.
The silicone rubber strainers have build in stainless steel clips at either end. These clips easily clip onto the pan or bowl and are very grippy so they don’t come off when straining. I found that these rubber strainers actually work really well. When you have a large, heavy pan like my 12 inch pan, it’s really difficult to try to keep the hot lid a crack open when straining and these rubber strainers perfectly solve the problem. At the same time it’s equally easy to strain your salad leaves.

An adjustable strainer made from silicone, it it is very bendy and sits over a pan with 2 rubber/metal clips, even on my biggest pan it gapes so I’m a little dubious about using this. Easy to clean though.

In my opinion this pot strainers are great for pots like 20-24cm in diameter to work as intended. If we use small pot, the flexible strainer will bend which risk the food held by it to be more likely at risk of falling out of the pot. If we cook pot full of pasta and want to strain it, some pasta will fall out of the pot as the strainer is not as “tall” to stop that happen. But for average portion of food, it works well. The holes through which water passes are good size to stop pasta/vegetables from escaping and let water out freely.
The quality of material used is good thicker silicone, flexible and heat proof. Metal clips are at risk of gaining rust over the time so we need to dry it properly before storing.
It’s good product at good price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis comes as a set of two.
In the set I am trying, there is a black one and a red one.
Having 2 colours is useful if you want to avoid cross contamination (allergies or whatnot)
They are made of silicone and quite strong
They fit all my pans .
You fit one onto the side of your pan when you want to strain out liquids by hooking the edge over using the two large immovable clips.
They open and close but cant be slid along the actual seive part of the strainer.
    They have a pouring lip

They are large enough for both the pressure cookers ‘just’ as the clips have to negotiate the inner flaps of the pans in that case but they do work .
On the box they are shown as able to fit a 30cm pan right down to a 15cm pan
This is possible because of the silicone which can bow upwards and so still hold in the pan’s contents while the edge of the strainer stays snug against the inner edge of the pan.

I think you could leave them on when cooking but then of course you wont be able to put the lid over the clips

You are unlikely to be able to use them in a microwave due to the inner spring part of the clip which is visible and metal

Todays evening meal was the ideal opportunity to test one and it worked perfectly.
I strained the veg water from my smallest pan straight into the jug in order to add gravy granules.
There was no spillage at all and no bits of brocolli ended up in the jug.
Its easy to unclip the seive while the pan is still hot to access the remaining food in the pan.

The strainers clip together one above the other so can be stored on a shelf together.
They are likely to get used almost every day .

A great addition to the kitchen and space saving over a collande

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits lots of different sized pans

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThese strainers are great and work really well and can be used in all sized pots and pans

-They’re made from a strong silicone type material that means you can bend them around any pan.
-They have two rubber clips that are strong and hold the strainer in place. They’re also completely heat proof so you won’t burn yourself putting them on or taking them off.
-The holes are big enough to pour water through quickly but small enough to keep the majority of food in the pot (I wouldn’t trust it with rice or smaller items though.
-They easy to clean after wards and small enough to store away easily.

Overall I’m really happy with these strainers and would definitely recommend them.
