This tool set has everything you need to tackle the light jobs around the house. These tools are sturdy and makes a great starter kit for anyone. The hammer is kind of light it should be a little heavier but it’s not to big of a deal. The other tools are very sturdy feeling and are a great size. And like I said it comes with everything you need. The case is a hard plastic and easily carried. All the tools have a place and snap in their spots great so they are less likely to get lost. I have a tool box I put mine into and completes my tool needs. I would definitely recommend this tool kit for anyone who needs tools great starter and very sturdy. They fit in the hand comfortably so no struggling to be able to use one. I’m glad I got these it makes my life a whole lot easier.

This is a review for GoYwato Home Tool Set 53PCs – Complete Household Basic Repair General Hand Tool Kit Set for Handyman with Pliers & Wrench & Screwdriver & Metric Hex Key & Portable Tool Box Storage Case for Men Women.

I ordered this kid that is a budding do it yourselfer around the house and this kit has most everything that he is comfortable with using. It definitely has all the basics covered and the toolbox is well organized, even if I have questions about it durability. Only thing missing is WD-40 and duct tape.

This is a great basic set of tools for simple home projects. All tools are well organized in the box although the box feels a little big cheap and thin. And not sure why the box is quite dirty with dust all around. The handles are all covered by rubber and feel good on hand. I do not like the unity knife. It is quite hard to push the blade out. Overall good set for beginners. But don’t expect to finish serous work with them.

If you know a first time home owner, or someone who has just moved into their first apartment, this is an ideal kit. More often than not, you just need some basic tools like a hammer, screw drivers, pliers, a measuring tape, a couple sockets and a crescent wrench. In this kit, you get all of that and more. There are 53 pieces in all and each tool is neatly contained in a plastic case with a see-thru lid. That way, everything stays organized and in place so you can find the tool you need, when you need it. Whether you want this for you to have an organized set, or know someone who could use it, for the price, it is a great value and would make a great gift.

This is a handy tool kit to keep around your house or apartment or for your college student or new home owners. Not for major work or projects which would require more heavy duty tools than these. A nice assortment of tools for little things that might come up, furniture assembly, outlet covers, decorations etc. Keeps everything organized and easy to find. Would be even better if it included some finishing nails and electrical tape but you can throw those in there yourself. Makes a great gift.

I’m actually really surprised at the quality you get for the price for this tool set. I, like, everyone else, have some good tools that are mainly mismatched, old, and all over the place in my home. I wanted to make sure I had a complete tool set for the house that I could rely on, and this looks like it’s it.

I like that it came in a toolbox the tools can stay in, and that the metal used in the tools appears to be of good quality. I was expecting cheaper-made materials, but I’m more than happy with this mid-range variety. It will get the job done, and they all appear to be solid in build. You get a small hammer, wrenches, pliers, knife, screwdrivers, screwdriver tips, sockets, allen wrenches, tape measure, etc.

It even comes with some extra blades and bits, which I know will come in handy. I also appreciate that there are multiple screw drivers and not just a single one with an interchangeable head (one is included though). Now I don’t have to search drawers and my garage for a tool I haven’t seen in a year – they’re all here!

    Solid set for my home

This is a good tool set for doing small projects around the house. There is a large variety of tools to get most projects completed. It is great that it is all contained in one easy to store case. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a pretty nice basic tool set. It’s got most of the tools you would need for most basic projects. The tools are all decent quality and seem sturdy enough. I really like the case. It’s slim and compact. I have a tool bag for my other tools, which I really like, but sometimes I really have to dig to find what I’m looking for. With this case, I can see everything before I even open it up. It’s really easy to find what I’m looking for. The size of this case is perfect for keeping in a cabinet or a closet and it’s not going to take up much space. This is a nice addition to my tools and is very convenient to have on hand.

OK this set isn’t going to be used to build a house but it’s sure going to handle a lot of the simple repair jobs around the house! But then again, if you’re building a house, you’re probably not going to be looking for a simple tool set for yourself. You’re probably like me and getting this for a child that has just moved out and is needing to start building their own tool “library”. That’s exactly what I’m doing. My daughter has just moved into her own place and needs a set of the basic tools that anyone needs to have around the house.

This set is actually fairly complete in what it offers! With this set you’re going to be able to accomplish a LOT of tasks that need to be done. I’m not even going to bother listing the tools, because that is pretty self-evident in looking at the pictures.

What I WILL say is that while these tools aren’t the most robust tools to be made they are more than adequate to do the small odd jobs around the house. The hammer is not heavy enough to where you’d be building a privacy fence and nailing your stringers onto your posts but for hammering a nail into the wall to hang a picture… this would work great.

The tools don’t feel flimsy at all which for the price point, you might think they’d be cheap. They don’t feel that way they actually feel like they’ll last for a good long time. And the wide variety of tools that this set contains will help you conquer a lot of basic jobs around the house.

In the future we’ll be adding to the tool collection for my daughter but for now, this is a really good start!

OH and the carrying case feels like it’ll last a good long time as well. I really like that each and every item has a storage place in the case and everything locks down in place. It’s comfortable to hold and carry around and it isn’t too heavy that you feel like your having to drag it around.

Very good starter tool kit for around the house!

I was looking for a basic set of household tools, and was pleasantly surprised. This set was larger than the ones I’ve seen in stores, 17.5″x14″. The tools seem like pretty good quality, nice and sturdy, with a rubbery grip. There’s a hammer, pliers, two large and two small screwdrivers, two sets of Allen wrenches, an adjustable wrench, a tape measure (inches and metric), a hobby knife, a ratchet screwdriver with a set of sockets, and two sets of bits. The handle can be angled, which is a nice extra. There’s a screw off cap, so bits or screws could be put in the handle.

The knife is surprisingly large and sturdy – I’m used to those thinner, lighter craft ones. It has a nice grip. There’s a container with a lot of extra blades.

There’s also a thing that looks like a small screwdriver with a clear handle, which is apparently an electrical tester. I’m personally unfamiliar with that, and there are no instructions, so I’m unlikely to use it. It’s possible it requires batteries, but there’s no indication of what type, if so.

The tools fit securely in the case, but aren’t hard to remove. It’s a nice starter tool set. My only complaint is that the lid feels a little flimsy compared to the rest of the box, and it was cracked when it arrived. Not badly enough to be unusable, but it’s a bit annoying.

haven’t been able to test every single tool yet but from the several tools I’ve used so far, they have overall functioned very well. Everything has stayed in tact during and after usage, and putting the tools back in the case is as easy as most tool set cases. If the tools are latched in correctly, they don’t move around when carrying the case, and it locks near the handle , nothing has broke during usage but some pieces just don’t feel quite as solid as you’d expect. But overall good produc

I have placed this tool kit in my kitchen. My last tool kit fell apart and it was time for a new one. This 106 piece tool kit has just about everything that I would ever need for minor repairs. My husband uses it too. The case is very sturdy and inside the many tools are stratically places for ease of use. The inside of the case is made of a molded plastic so each tool has a place made for it and they stay put until you pull them out. Screw drivers and bit, wrenches, a hammer, pliers, a utility knife, a retractable ruler, hex keys, a wire stripper, and a small container with anchors and screws, this kit has everything!

I purchased this tool kit set for my fianc, since I own all the tools in the house. I wanted him to have some thing that he knew it would be his alone, which I wouldn’t touch for my projects. I like how it has a lot of things, even I have an accumulated, like an extender to the drill that bends so I can get around corners. I’m really excited to use some of the things in this took it for my various projects, with my fianc’s permission, of course. I think he likes having his own tour kit so that he can fix instruments or repair anything that he needs repaired in the house.

This is a handy kit to have with you in your car or house. You have all the basic tools plus some nice to have extras like a tape measure, a pair of scissors, a small nut driver set and a circuit tester. Everything comes packed together in a molded plastic hard case. This would make a great gift for a college grad or someone just starting out on their own as well.

  26. The Book Diva says:

This is an okay starter tool kit for a budget. The tools are cheap quality, but there are quite a lot of them. Most of them are decent.

The hammer is a mini hammer, so the uses will be limited. The other tools are mid/low grad tools, most of which I don’t think can hold up to much abuse. The only tool I found completely useless was the inductance break point tester did not work for me at all, and I couldn’t get the buttons to press. Interestingly the case itself feels impressively sturdy.

Overall, I think this case might be the right purchase in some situations simply because of the value per tool. But, if you have the money to invest in better tools, that’s the better long-term plan.

I have a strong dislike for cheap tools – you never know when you’ll need a tool, and it’s important to have reliable ones.

So going into this I had pretty low expectations, but it turned out (slightly) better than I expected. Although they are lower quality than just about anything you’d find at a proper hardware store, they’re roughly on par with generic brands at the local discount box store. Plus, this set includes more for less – over 100 pieces.

Don’t expect to do any serious work with these tools. The flexible drill shaft, for example, broke the first time I used it. The hammer is not sturdy enough to handle excessive force, and the scissors are incredibly flimsy. But for light tasks like bike maintenance, hanging pictures, computer repairs, and assembling children’s toys, they are decent.

The set comes with no instructions, which isn’t an issue for most of the items. The voltage pen may require some guidance, but there are numerous online resources available. Exercise caution around electricity!

The tool case and tools are susceptible to rusting and cracking, so it’s best to apply a small coat of oil to the pliers, adjustable wrench, and hammer occasionally.

It’s disappointing there was no ratcheting socket wrench included.

Overall, this tool kit is ok for light tasks or a starter set for young kids.

This is a great little toolkit. I picked it up to serve as a set of emergency tools for a travel trailer and it looks to have everything in it that I might need for the random repair job. Take a close look at the product pictures and you can see everything there. They may not be the highest quality tools available but for the price, it’s helpful to have this collection in one toolbox.

I needed some new tools because mine were stolen. I saw this set and it has all the basic tools that I need. However, they don’t appear to be made very strong and could fail on difficult jobs. These are sufficient for the occasional, simple repairs around my house/apartment. I mostly need the screwdrivers, wrench, and hammer. Which have worked okay so far. I would recommend this set for someone who is just starting out and only does simple tasks. Would make a nice present for a recent graduate.

This set has just about everything for basic home repairs. Picture hanging, changing an electrical plug, taking a trap off under the sink, putting together IKEA stuff.. all the tools are there. A really nice feature is the case is made so everything snaps into place and doesn’t all dump out when opened. This would make a great housewarming gift, or for someone going off to school or their first apartment. Also good to have and hide away for someone who has a roommate/ partner that never puts a tool back where they belong.

This is a very nice set of tools that any homeowner or apartment dweller might need for the lighter home projects. Is this set for mechanics, carpenters, or construction personnel, NO, but every home should have a set like this for the smaller do it yourself repairs and projects. I won’t recite the list of included tools, but it’s pretty comprehensive and has just about anything that you’d likely need for minor projects and repairs around your home. Most of the tools snap in place inside the hardened plastic toolbox to keep them organized. In my case, upon arrival and unboxing, I found several of the tools had came out of their storage positions during shipment. It was not overly evident where they snapped back in place until I pulled up the advertisement picture. I believe that this tool set and storage case would make a great gift for those just starting out on their own, or for the elderly that no longer can use or don’t need the more professional sized or heavy-duty tools.

Good little starter kit. We keep in the kitchen junk drawer so we don’t have to go out to the garage for little things like a screw driver or hammer. The only downside is that the scissors don’t stay snapped into their little mold. However, we’ve owned different kinds of tool kits like this over the years and everyone of them has had problems with different items staying snapped in, so not knocking off a star for it.

There are certain tools that a person may often end up needing around their house. For example, a hammer or screwdriver to put together furniture or some other DIY project. Perhaps a tape measurer or a wrench to install a new sink or such. In any case, this particular tool set would be handy to have around. It comes with all of the basic tools a house may need and then a few extra it may not, but they’re good to have on hand. There’s a hammer, a tape measurer, 2 smaller screwdrivers, 2 full size screwdrivers, a screwdriver with an interchangeable head, a wrench, pliers, a set of Allen wrenches, and other smaller pieces such as bits for the screwdriver. Unless there’s something advanced going on, this tool set is all I need.

I got this as a little starter kit for my kiddo. He always like to help around the house and I thought it was about time to get him his own tools.
Heres the deal. Its a good decent price and it has decent tools. There is always going to be a favorite or most used tool that will not actually break here and thats good. The hammer and the crescent wrench is good. Pliers are sharp and tight. The box knife is as good as it could be.
    The screw drives are good
everything is all right. Nothing to wow anyone but I think everyone should have a little tool kit somewhere in their home even if its basic.
I think its good though overall. The voltage tester is a little dicey because it looks really cheap and I wouldn’t trust it in an outlet with a kid. Ill probably toss it anyways.
The rest of the items are ok. They should work for the most part but only time will tell. The full metal tools are the ones that will most likely outlast this kit.

I really have a disdain for cheap tools because I’ve been stranded in the middle of nowhere when my car broke down and my jack broke. You never know when you’ll need a tool, and need to rely on the tool to perform properly.

Having said that, I had pretty low expectations ordering this, but they’re not bad, better than expected. They’re about on par with generic brands you’d find at the local discount box store, but here you get more for less (over 100 pieces).

These are not great tools, do not expect to do any type of serious work with them. For example, the flexible drill shaft broke the first time I tried using it (it definitely cannot sustain any amount of torque). And this hammer could break, I’ve seen the head fly off cheapie hammers like this, so don’t use it forcefully.

I’ve owned sets like this in the past, and what I’ve found are the cases are prone to cracking, and the tools are prone to rust. I would advise occasionally giving these a quick small coat of oil, such as a squirt of WD40 (especially the pliers, the adjustable wrench, and the hammer).

But otherwise most things in here are fine for light use – tuning up a bike, hanging pictures, computer repairs, assembling kids toys, etc.

I got a couple of these sets for my young kids, as an introductory tool set. They will mostly use them for crafts, to hang pictures on their walls, and it will work fine for things like that.

It has no ratcheting socket wrench, which is a disappointment. Also it has no instructions. Everything in here is pretty self-explanatory except for the voltage pen – but there are plenty of online videos to help you figure it out if you’ve never used one (just be careful around electricity!).

I like that it has all the basic tools that you need for around the house. Tools are a little flimsy when compared with the old ones that need to be replaced. For example scissors are thinner than my regular paper scissors. I like that the measuring tape has inches on top and meters on the bottom.
