Used to create a secondary temp door to stop new cat from getting out of the property while it settled in. This and duct tape to keep temp door in place worked very well. Allowed us to answer the door without worrying the cat would bolt.
These have been fantastic whilst renovating our home. We needed to knock through from the house into the new extension (before utilities such as gas/electric were installed in new extension) during the winter which meant a gaping hole in my house letting all the heat out. We put two of these together with gaffa tape and put them over the opening. Worked a treat! Very thick plastic so helped keep the heat in and cold out. It’s thick enough to use nails to attach to brickwork too and the zips are great quality. We have saved them for the next renovatio
Had these on 4 doors of the landing whilst we had building works on the house.
Origianally I did fit it upsidedown… but learnt my lesson!
They did really well, kids (5,7) used them with ease and no rips. They did really well to keep the dust out too.
Used whilst we had the bathroom gutted and taken back to bare walls, I needed to keep dust out of the bedroom and office space. Simple enough to put up although I might suggest you have a second pair of hands to help make life easier. I decided to use some duct tape, which in the main, kept it up. I believe the main issue is air movement, so these are basically sealing off a room, and then when someone else has windows open or is moving air in the house during building work, your relying on your tape to hold back air movement from the room. Most of the issues I had with keeping it stuck in place we’re probably having a window open in the room while the wind was trying to get into the rest of the house. The zips were so so, you had to hold the unit to unzip it or it could pull away from the adhesive. However the builders caught the plastic a couple of times with wood and although it dented it didn’t rip so they held up well
This was a massive help when we had building work going on. Sturdy plastic sheet and zip with a U-shaped door. We taped it up with Frogtape and it stayed up for eight weeks. It makes you feel like you are camping, but the main benefit was the dust prevention. A great idea!
They were great for stopping dust getting into a room when we had our hallway wall cut to create a new doorway. Easy to use and they stayed up well with frog tape.
I liked this product. Done the job of keeping the dust and dirt out of other rooms while another room was plastered. Maybe could come with its own roll of tape to stick it up with but otherwise very good value for money.
We used these covers whilst having our bathroom renovated and they were brilliant. They gave us full access to the bedrooms whilst keeping the dust to a minimum in there.
