Bought for my son, he likes it as it has a gentler cooling effect vs a traditional rotary fan for sleeping / bedroom
Fair value fan and does what it says on the ti

I got this as a replacement for an older model honeywell fan which had sadly died after 4 years of nightly use.
Very impressed with this one as they have made some design improvements over older models, mainly the base which is far more sturdy now.
Fan make just the right amount of noise for me as I use at night slightly as white noise, that’s not to say this is loud by any means but just enough to deaden the silence of night.
On full power this could be a little more powerful but that’s my only minor gripe.
Have had this on nightly for a few months now and it fairing up well, there is a tiny intermittent click when rotating but no that bad.

Nice well-made unit, not intrusive with noise, does the job for me, I don’t need the timer or sleep function, but I am sure they would work fine, suits my needs and not too expensive.

This fan was a life saver!
Prime delivery, so it came the next day, easy to assemble and get going. Easy to use and I love the fact that it has a remote too! The lowest setting isn’t ‘silent’ but as fans go it’s pretty damn good and certainly doesn’t stop me sleeping – which I am now doing as I am no longer roasting in my bed. Definitely recommended.

On one of the hottest days, my nephew’s fan stopped working, so at 22.45 hrs, I found this fan on Amazon, my nephew needed a new fan quickly.
So I paid for next day delivery. The fan arrived at 10 am the next day. What a great service.
Very good looking fan, easy to use. Works well.
Thanks to all staff at Amazon what a great service you offer , from buying, packing and a big thank you to the delivery person, for a very quick delivery and on a Sunday too.

Very good fan with different settings. Only weird thing was that the box seemed to have already been opened as the cable was unwound, with the wire tie loose in the bottom, and there were no batteries for the remote control. I did contact the seller as I thought they must re-sell returns from other suppliers but they said they are all brand new and unopened so I suggested she double-check with whoever they get them from… We could have returned it but needed it and couldn’t wait for a return to be accepted and a new one sent out so have kept it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersIt’s a good thing, by a reputable manufacturer.
It’s quiet in sleep mode with only a tiny bit of mechanical noise but no ticks or clicks and very powerful when needed.
The noise thing, I think, is very important for an item like this. The, “premium”, equivalent we all might compare this one to sells for 6X the price and seems to have an inherant click and groan or squeak at the end of its rotational travel. I bought this fairly cheap item to stand in on night duty for the, “other”, one, sad and a shame but Honeywell appeared to pay attention to this necessary, “silence”, feature while the aforementioned, un-named manufacturer of the premium equivalent has not.
This one is not very pretty orstylish though, by comparison, but it does a good job on sleep duty.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWhat’s not to like! Great choice of cooling speeds, quiet enough to drift off to sleep to (it’s like white noise) and brilliantly slimline. Also easy to operate. Glad we plumped for the Honeywell. Have named him Vernon so he’s definitely a keeper!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery happy with this cool air blower. It stands on the floor and give out a good volume of air to cool a room. The remote is handy too although not used it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHaving used an older model of these for a few summers now, it has to be said it’s a great tower fan if you value a peaceful night’s sleep! There is a decent range of wind speeds and oscillation, and the timer function is perfect for using the fan as you settle in bed. The noise level is very low for a tower fan compared to desk fans and cheaper products, and the remote control means you don’t have to be up and down all night adjusting the settings. Overall, I would definitely recommend the product if you’re looking for a new tower fan this summer!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have had another cheaper tower fan in the past, that was alright enough with air flow but wasnt great when hitting 30 degrees or higher as it just felt like it was pushing warm air around. This Honeywell however, in hotter tempratures, is especially good at night when trying to sleep. It has 5x speed levels and i bought my first one of these over a year and a half ago and its not developed any horrible squeaking noises from the tower oscillating (like a cheaper model had for me). So when both my wife and I had to work from home more offten and we would work in separate rooms due to calls etc, it was time to buy a second, and we have not regretted it. I should mention that the remote that slips in the back of the unit is also very useful at night should you start to feel too warm or even to cool, you can control speed, oscillation and power on/off from it, which I have right next to me on my bedside table. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good Tower fan, I now own two of them for different rooms

Got this fan as a second option and wish I’d got this to start. Great product and quiet enough to leave on all night in the bedroom.
It’s not an AC so if you want cool (ish) air we put ours with the back to the window so we had some cool air blowing around the room. We have indoor cats so can’t fully open the windows so it’s great for us.

I purchased to move a large amount of air around my room while not taking up desk space or being flimsy like the ‘classic’ style of tall freestanding fan.

During the day it does that job perfectly.

I cannot recommend it for night use unless you’re a heavy sleeper like me. The vibrations will keep you awake, and the lights on top seemingly have no way to be turned off. A big oversight that would otherwise improve the product a lot.

Please also be aware that unless you’re on a ground floor, the vibrations – in most cases – are going to carry through below you; through wooden floors at least.

If the lights could be turned off and the design could be altered to greatly reduce the sound of the ‘blade’ it would be a 5 star.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI don’t usually leave product reviews but I highly recommend this. I spent a lot of time researching various quiet fans online and this one has lived up to the high reviews. I couldn’t justify the cost of a Dyson and glad I didn’t invest!

Now I’m working from home I need a fan for my office use and also for sleeping at night time. The noise from the fan is not intrusive and the silent mode is perfect for night time. No issues with the remote, it’s very handy. I live in London and it suits tackling the type of temperatures we experience here – I usually don’t have to set it to the highest level.

    The only slight drawbacks:
    – When I’m in bed the stand is too low to provide me with full coverage so I have to prop it up on a stack of books so it’s the right height
    – The dimmer light is still quite bright. I sleep with a black out blind and need complete darkness so the light can be annoying

Used this for the first time last night in the bedroom. It was easy to assemble and certainly helped with sleep. It is not silent (no fan is), but on the lowest fan speed it wasn’t too bad. It made a typical ‘swishing’ sound but no annoying rattles and we got used to it. I solved the problem raised by other reviewers that the display lights on the top are bright, by balancing a 5 to 6 ” diameter round biscuit tin lid on the top. As the top is slanting, provided the tin lid has a lip on it, it will stay in place. Operation of the remote wasnt affected
