Does the job very well. Don’t be afraid to use the highest setting if you have thick hair.
I am growing out my hair from relaxer and use this to smooth the roots after washing
This gets very hot, worth the money and exactly what I needed for a complete finish when straightening my hair and catching the edges. Just don’t overuse as it can cause hair breakage. I’ve burned my forehead one too many times lol works as good as the old school hot comb just a modern version at a budget price!
I have Afro hair, type 4b/c and bought this to get right to the roots around my hairline and nape. It gets hot SO QUICK! which is amazing and with the varying temp control, I can decide how straight I want my hair to be. So far I am happy with this product!
My partner uses this on our kids hair. it untangles them quite fast and helps straighten the hair quick.
bear in mind it does get super hot so you need to be mindful not to burn yourself or whoever you are using this on 😀
but yeah great product when used with care
This is the best hot comb I ever bought. The high temperatures it can go to helps the hair to stay bone straight definitely recommend this hot comb and brand top quality.
Love the design and colours of the terviiix hot comb very stylish lightweight and comfortable to use
I’m very impressed with this straightening comb. I had of these time ago when only one brand was available of the comb design.
I needed another one and found this one what I like about this terviiix comb is I can control the temperature.
The anti scald attachment is brilliant for skin protection Did my hair on the lowest setting and it did a excellent job.
Definitely value for money and i highly recommend would make a lovely gif
So I have mixed raced hair (Greek Cypriot and jamaican) I had already had straightened my hair but I bought it to do the roots of my hair which I find difficult with regular hair striaghtners. It was like using a flat one. It gets very very hot so be careful. It works really well on curly or wavy hair . The pic I’ve attached I’ve been out all day so its a bit messy now but you can see it does flatten roots well
You want a hot comb? then this is the one to get especially if you are a first time user of electric hot combs and a black woman with real tough 4C coarse hair. What first impressed me was the speed this comb heated up to become usable (less than 2 mins) on it’s lowest temperature 140c, then I put it up to 160c. Running the hot comb through a sections of my hair got the result I wanted after two strokes. My head hair is about 8 inches long and took about ten minutes to complete for the texture I desired (I didn’t want it bone straight). The different heat settings really makes this comb what it is because it lets the user decide just how straight they want their hair to be, so glad I didn’t purchse other combs that just do one high setting. It’s super easy to use and another bonus is the comb guard which enables you to press your hair confidently especially the hair at the front. I’m so pleased that the first hot comb that I have ever bought surpassed my expectations!
Looks nice, feels good in the hand. High temp but not high enough for my liking.
I like to straighten my human hair wigs sometimes and even with chasing with a brush and comb on the highest setting the hair was still not as straight and I had to go in with my tongs to sort the the ends which were very frizzy. The wig still looked better then when I started but not straight enough for the style I was looking for
I hope you found this review helpful
I have 4b afro textured hair and tried this once and am in love. I dont like my hair bone straight so used the lowest heat setting and it worked sooo well. It gets really hot, which is great. So far it gives me the result I wanted and my hair feels really soft. I also dont have the burntish smell that straighteners give (even on lowest setting). I especially like it because you can straighten right to the roots with ease. I read reviews of people complaining about the protective comb. I think the issue is that of course when metal heats, it expands so if the comb is already hot it will be hard/impossible to get the plastic comb on or off. I had no issues. Will update if my experience changes.
