Got this to irrigate a new hedge. Works fantastically alongside a timer. I love the sprinklers but really hate the little spikes and could not get them to work. More sprinkler heads would be ideal. Hose isn’t very long either so I use two hoses.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’ve had this a while, Its a good system and works well, but the fact that Amazon bundles it with a 25m hose highlights the main issue for, I suspect, many people- The supplied 10m hose is just not long enough; by the time you have routed your hose from the tap to where you need it you have lost a good fraction of the length, but of course few of us will want 35m total. It would be great if it came with a longer hose, maybe 15m or so, Or if you could buy a shorter length ‘extra’.

Using clips to hold in place this is a very versatile and easy to use means of watering pots etc. The umbrella fountain like spray means plants are gently watered. It is wasy to install and can be used with a timer. Great value!

Buying the hose, sprinklers, pegs and various other parts (included in the set) would be a lot more expensively individually. If you require the majority of parts, included, you will find this set value for money. Otherwise, just buy the parts you require, separately.
As we have a 100m garden, this is my third set, so that all of the hoses, sprinklers, etc are joined together to water all of our valuable fruit bushes, flowers and plants.
Like a costly bike needs a good lock. Plants need a reliable watering system, feed, compost and a timer to prevent loss. Want to save time daily, buy yourself a good watering system. Hoselock may be pricey but it just works. Recommended!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was very wary of buying an irrigation system as I initially thought it would be beyond me. I now wish I had done this years ago

I wanted something to help the watering of 10 new trees. I was so impressed with how easy it was to install that I expanded my plans and I bought a further 20 dippers, 60m of the flexi hose and a few other accessories to encompass 16 rose bushes and a number of honeysuckle and jasmine bushes. It is great set up…. literally takes just a few minutes.

You do though need to develop the “knack” to lock in the drippers in place but other than that it is so quick. Also make sure you think about which direction you want the dippers to tilt. Very happy indeed.

The Hozelock products connect so well and so flexible. Very very impressed

Product was simple to install and has really made a difference to our shrubs and plants. My only reservation about this product is that the quality/robustness of some of the parts are not up to Hozelock’s usual high quality. We had issues with a couple of the sprinkler heads: on one the piecing needle was not properly secured into its base and on the other the cap was loose leading to the head leaking. Though I fixed them both I would not have normally expected this from Hozelock.

Upon setting up and testing for the first time, all droppers the. Needed readjusting as no water came out. Plants all died when I was on holiday. Maybe my fault for not setting up sooner and testing twice.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWhat a great product, but they’ve really missed the potential in a big way, especially with sustainability and water conservation being so important. I’ll explain….the product is designed in such a way that it needs mains pressure to work; I was really hoping that my quite powerful pump that sits in my water but would be able to supply this great kit with the water, sadly, the way it’s designed is that all the holes/pipe spikes that let the water through to the sprinkler heads are just too small to use with anything but high pressure. This is definitely a great concept which you can use with your mains tap and an additional watering timer, however, please will home lock now design the same great product to work with a water butt pump as it is really annoying that I have all that rainwater sitting there and have to use the mains water when I go away and I just cannot use it day in day out as I can’t bring myself not to use the rainwater.

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersOk so I have a huge garden with long borders over brimming with mature shrubs and everything in between. I also have multiple large vegetable patches. I also have diabolical water pressure!

I purchased 12 of these items and a few reels of hose lock supply hose.

I have a single garden tap. From this point I have one 150m run going left watering this entire side of my garden. Going right I have another run that hits the right side of my garden which is about a 200m run that encompasses my rose garden that is elevated 10m and my vegetable patch along with more borders.

Now when I say my water pressure is bad, it is bad. I purchased the hozelock turbo jet to boost my system and everything works flawlessly.

    The left run is fine.

The right run is too long to water adequately even with the pump so between my rose garden and vegetable patch, about half way, I have split the pipe run. I simply plug and play the different runs at this half way point and everything is fine.

All in all if you have a huge garden like mine do not despair. It used to take me 2 hours at time to water all of my borders. Now I simply turn my tap, 15 – 20 minutes then remove one pipe from the pump, push another in and everything is watered.

The hozelock kit works excellently but make sure you only use their branded stuff, other makes will leak or not seal properly.

The only fault is out of my 120+ drippers, 2 broke whilst installing. Might of been me being a brute or the product but considering everything works as intended I am happy.

A lot of people say don’t do a run that is more then 40m, you can go further but you just need either a pump or adequate water pressure.

This product was easy to set up in minutes and did exactly what it said on the box. Very impressed and I now have peace of mind that my border will have the growing conditions it requires.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI tried a soaker hose, previously as they were a cheaper option but the hose was so stiff you couldn’t position it very well, and then it started to develop splits, so I tired this as an alternative and wished i had bought it in the first place. really easy to install and very controllable as each individual nozzle can be turned up or down so individual plants can have their differing needs satisfied. make sure you press in the little yellow button when winding down the needle as it is easily damage if you forget. Great product tho!!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersIt’s a little sad getting so enthusiastic about a watering system, I tried many others and this system is great, the Mac of watering, it is so easy to setup and it just works. What more is there to say? “Some say” it’s expensive, but having fiddled endlessly with other cheaper and similarly priced alternatives, the time it saves is well worth the price.

I managed to get the 1m diameter coverage but only by removing the flow restrictor. The set up in a 8ft by 4ft bed was achieved with just 3 sprinklers.. so I could water 3 raised beds with this and have enough pipe to water the soft fruit area as well.
The sprinklers are not great as they do not spread the water sufficiently. ( ie you get wet spots.) however after a while the water seems to dissipate everywhere so I think it will work .

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought two of these for my raised beds. They’ve been in for a month now and work like a dream. There is nothing more satisfying than walking up the garden path and seeing the garden water itself! There is pipe left over so I am now going to buy a micro kit which will add on and enable me to water the pots on my patio. Not looking forward to my water meter being fitted, but I’ll just adapt the timer to a shorter period or watering.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis product does the job of watering my raised bed border, but is completely dependent on the water pressure available. My water pressure was fine and I was able to add five more sprinklers to the black hose. The spray from the sprinklers can be set to your preferred height and the system is bespoke to your own requirements depending on exactly where the water is needed.
I found the clips a bit tricky at first, but like a lot of fixings, when you have done the first one the system becomes clear and straightforward.
If you find you have made a mistake you can easily block the hole with the blanking pieces provided.
    A good product overall.
