Great for the beach
This bat and ball set will be perfect to keep in our beach bag and use in the summer. My children, myself and my husband will all enjoy using this set. The bats are very sturdy so should be pretty durable. The balls and birdies bounce well on the bats, the birdies are especially awesome and bounce so well that they go quite a distance!
You get 2 balls and 4 birdies which is handy in case you lose any.
The current price of 16.99 is more than I’ve ever spent on a beach bat and ball set, however, it is a very decent set that will get plenty of use and should last for years to come!
Fantastic set-Great fun!
This is a very well made bat and ball set. The bats are wooden with foamy grips and come in a lovely bright blue and green. The set also comes with two bouncy orange balls and four premium birdies (like a shuttlecock but made of feathers-think this is the American word for shuttlecock)- two orange ones for slow and two yellow for fast (at least the bright colours mean they should be easy to spot and not get lost easily). The set also comes nicely presented in a black mesh bag. Whilst I imagine this could be good for the beach, we just tested it out at home, and it’s really good fun and feels robust. At 16.99 with a 15% off voucher, making it 14.44 for the set at the time of reviewing, I think this is great value, and it will provide years of enjoyment. In fact, I am very tempted to purchase two more bats. Highly recommended for all the family.
Good value fu
Bought this for the summer and it was quite fun.
The balls are not too light which means they don’t get too easily blown in the wind, which is important in the UK!
The shuttles were a different matter but they aren’t too bad either.
The bats are made reasonably well with comfy grips and nice to have 4 and lots of different balls (guaranteed to get lost, right!)
These wouldn’t be suitable for kids younger than 6 or 7 I think as the ball travels quite fast.

You get what you pay fo
Initially I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend so much on a set of these and looked at cheaper options. I’m really glad I decided to spend a little extra as the build quality is great.
We took these to Cyprus and they were in the pool/sea for at least 3 hours a day. By the end of the week they still looked like new and didn’t show any signs of wear and tear. The foam on the handles stayed in tact and dry really fast.
The balls and mini bullets with the feathers are different weights, making them faster/slower.
Only regret I have is not buying the 4 paddle set. Buy them, they’re great.
Good produc
We took these to Mexico and thank goodness we did as things were so expensive. Great product, fun in the pool, just a shame we are rubbish at playing it.
Robust, small beach bats
Slightly smaller than the usual beach bats but have survived a couple days of heavy use at the beach so more robust than some I have used. I found the orange ball against the orange bat also slightly difficult but that’s probably just my ageing eyesight!
Great quality.
Nice quality painted plywood bats; should hold up to a dunk in the pool. Those little “birdies” only need a little tap to send them flying. Twice the fun of badminton with half the effort!

Cheap and cheerful, really nice colours. The quality for this price is amazing. The whole set is very well made.
The bag is so useful to keep it all nice and tidy.
We played so many times already and our daughter loves it and so do we.
Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Set for the Beach & Garde
Super little set which is fun and easy to pick up.
The birdies are awesome for hitting high and slow and if the wind picks up you can swap to the balls which are similar to squash balls in weight and consistency making them perfect for windy beaches.
At first glance it feels expensive but the quality is very good and feels like they’ll last. As I always say, you get what you pay for!

Arrived quickly and instant reaction is that of good quality bats. Saving these for a holiday with grandchildren so can’t say yet if they stand up in durability as well as looks
