iRhodesy Mobile Air Conditioner Hose
The iRhodesy hose comes packed in a sturdy cardboard box. The hose is collapsed endways to make it more compact for transport.
The hose seems well made the plastic forming it is a decent thickness so it should cope well with being moved around. It can be lengthened easily by pulling on the end of the tube and shortened easily for storage.
I haven’t used my tube on an air conditioner, instead, I wanted it for part of the extraction hose on a laser engraver cabinet. The hose I have been using is the sort meant for tumble driers and although it does work, it tends to collapse and close up restricting the air flow. The iRhodesy hose was the perfect solution because it holds its shape much better. My only problem was the difference in diameter between this hose and the previous four inch one but this was easily solved by 3D printing small adapter rings.
I am pleased with the results using the iRhodesy hose and although I didn’t use it for its primary purpose I can see it would work well on anything it fits.
My portable air conditioner arrived with an exhaust hose that was just that bit too short. But I was able to get this extra piece of hose and a coupler, also from Amazon, and joined the two together. The only slight issue is that this tube is fractionally smaller in diameter than the original so I have to be careful not to dislodge it from the coupler.
Have an air con unit but the hose is literally a little bit too short. didnt know you could get an extender. Most extenders are just paper style so very thin and create holes quickly. this is plastic and very durable it fits but i put some gaffer tape around it too just so there no escape of hot air. its just a personal choice. I now have much more than i really need but its work fab in the humid office i have at home. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent extender. As I said most on the market are paper ones but this one is plastic its certainly worth paying that little extra.
This is a very well made air conditioner hose.
It is 15cm / 6inch in diameter and works great as a replacement of the original one.
The hose is 1.5M long ,which is exactly the same size like the original one.
The price of the hose is only 22.99 at the moment , which is an overall good price.

Summer is here and received my air conditioner needed a hose to put it with that. It fits well with my conditioner.
I had to put a bit away from my wall and the hose expanded well and easily which was great this hose allows you to move your conditioner in the room.
It was easy to fit it nothing much to do.
The material is thick and strong so I am confident that it will stay long even when it’s fully expended it does not bend down which means the material is strong and thick to stay straight.

I ordered this for my clothes dryer. It’s really sturdy but also flexible, so that’s good. I had a little trouble fitting it but once I’d got it in it’s going no where. Good stuff.

Great quality extension hose to use with my air-conditioning unit. Very sturdy when expanding and collapsing.
My hose could be longer, so wanted to try and extend it. I did measure the diameter, although I’m not sure how to attach this to the fitted hose. If i am unable to make it work, i will try some heavy duty tape.
The extension will give more range to move my air con unit to the upstairs landing and help cool more rooms down. The price however seems a bit expensive.
I use mine as an extension to the existing air conditioner hose as it allows me to position the appliance further away from the bedroom window. I am sure that standard 150mm flexible trunking like this has many other uses in things like cooker hoods and tumble drying. This example holds its shape well and seems to be sturdily made. What more would you wish for? Recommended
We have a stand alone air con unit that comes out for the few weeks where everyone in the UK complains when it gets warm so we can keep the bedroom comfortable at night, however the hose just isn’t long enough to place it as we need it so this should do the job. I was glad to see they offered two diameter sizes as the previous extension I had was a little bigger so didn’t really work without some gaffer tape, however this one just “screws” in to the end of the existing pipe as it’s the exact same size (13cm) and just works. It’s the same solid robust pipe as the original and easily compacts down when not in use and doesn’t lose any of it’s shape. Highly recommended
This is a 1.5 M Mobile air conditioning hose they come in two different sizes of diameter you can get 15cm or 13 cm so make sure you measure hose thread connection before purchase to get the right fit they don’t come with a connector they thread into the extraction outlet port and need to be fitted anti clockwise good length and constructed of really strong material great for an extension of existing hose and fits securely can pull out to the length required and any excess tube will stay firmly in place
Strong build and promises to last with a robust spring mechanism that allows it to be expanded and collapsed in a very positive feel. Unfortunately I ordered 130 cm whereas I needed 150 cm for my Inventor Magic air conditioner. I will have to look for a reducing connector if there is a suitable one to fit. Quite expensive but does seem like it won’t fall apart anytime soon.
The final verdict is that it safes me having the extraction pipe/hose laying across the room to another room, now it’s short and tidy straight out of the window and in not my way. I don’t think it made a difference in cooking the room quicker or better or saved me money on electric, but it looks tidy for sure.
