Simple device for removing lids from jars . Several sized lids catered for. A little on the stiff side to keep pressure on the lid. Has several other built in removers/ cutters. No pins to break like our last one

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe had a large jar of pickled beetroot that just wouldn’t open, the lid would not budge no matter what was tried, and we tried damp cloths, heating up the lid, the pickled beetroot remained unobtainable! Then the opener arrived! It was a bit of a stretch to get it around the lid but once on and twisted – the lid turned and came off easily! Beetroot enjoyed!

As a home brewer, I have two barrels which can be difficult to remove the caps when barrel emptied. This product fits a treat and it was really no effort to undo cap. Well worth buying

Two jars had lids that I could not get off – they must have been slightly deformed/damaged.

This made light work of them, and paid me back straight away.

So easy to open jar and at no great pressure either, it’s one of the best gadgets I’ve seen for jars as they can be too tight to open !! Great price too !! Definitely recommend it !! Fits the can or bottle perfectly as that’s quite a few I’ve tried it on and I must say with great ease !! The appearance is very much like a large hook but love the colour and how easy it is to open things !! Thank you!! Superb delivery +++++++

I had a metal one of these but found it slipped on the lids and could be difficult to use. This grips the lids perfectly and is much easier to use. I buy a large jar of pureed garlic from the Chinese supermarket and the jar is really difficult to open by hand, I resorted to piercing the lid and even then it was a struggle, With this jar opener it is a dawdle.

The jar opener has been a game-changer in my kitchen. Its ergonomic design and strong grip make opening stubborn jars a breeze, even for someone like me with limited hand strength. The adjustable size settings ensure compatibility with various jar lids, and the smooth operation requires minimal effort. I appreciate the durability of the materials used, making this a long-lasting addition to my kitchen tools. Say goodbye to frustrating jar-opening struggles — this opener is a must-have for every home.

This gadget does work though you do still need some strength to part the grips and get them around the jar lid, once that’s managed it depends on how tight the lid is to start with, I did get the impression that anyone with arthritis could still struggle though I did get the lid loosened after a couple of attempts. Bought two as my sister in law has problems with her grip too, though I have doubts whether she could use this. Worth a try at the price.

This jar opener is sturdy and quite easy to hold but, unless you have a strong grip its difficult to keep a good hold on the jar tops. Sadly this one not for me.

This was a boom to me. I already had an old bottle/jar opener but it’s served its purpose and is difficult to use because its not soft rubber.
This one, though, does what it says on the packet! Absolutely fantastic and easy to use if you have arthritis.

but I do! I was always chief bottle and jar opener in my family, but unfortunately, age has caught up with me and that’s no longer the case. My hands aren’t as strong as they were, but luckily this Opener means I can still open everything, even those bottles with tiny caps.

Got this for my Dad who at 92 is starting to struggle to open jars, milk bottles etc due to worsening arthritis . This is an absolute godsend. He is over the moon with it. Arrived on time with another couple of things to help him ( ring pull tool and electric can opener) so all in all a great package to help anyone struggling with any form of arthritis whether old or young
