Bought this for mum and what a difference it’s made. Yes it just opens jars, but for mum who has weak arthritic hands it’s just fantastic. I installed it in under 2 mins, she holds the jar up, twists and that’s it. Jams, cook in sauces, just helps.
You can open a jar so much easie
It is easier to use I used to fight to get a jar open as I have arthritis bad in my hands but with this jar opener it makes life easier I would recommend it to anybody

This item is a lifesaver for anyone with weakened grip. I could not open new jars of anything – from shrimp paste to pickled eggs, jam to mint sauce! This gadget opens them all with ease.
It was much bigger than I had imagined – I read the measurements but saw the pics of it fitted to the underside of kitchen cabinets. They must be very deep ones as this gadget only JUST fits under mine!!
Very sturdy easy to use
I attached this to underside of cupboard thinking the sticky pad won’t hold it very well and planning to use screws as well, but so far the sticky pad has held very strongly, just make sure there’s no grease when applied. The jar opener is easy to use in seconds and gone are the days of going through contortions to get a lid off.
