Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis sweet cable allows you to use the Quest 3 Charger while linked to your computer. This keeps the headset charged all the while you are playing. It is important to note that you should either unplug the cable from the headset or the charger when not in use because you don’t want this charging to 100% constantly as that will not be good for the battery. Note, if you get one of these cables and it doesn’t charge then it is defective. That happened to me when I bought the first cable. I thought it was junk but everyone said it worked so I took a chance and ordered another one and it works perfectly. I returned the defective cable.

I has been using it for3 months i think. It works well. I like the appearance. The extra cable provides more power for my quest 3. I can see the differences compare to my old cable.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI first tried a standard USB 3.0 cable but the quest 3 would still drain battery while playing, even while connected to USB 3.0 port directly on mobo (13th gen). I should have just gotten this one from the start. I already knew jsaux made good stuff.

This cable does a great job of powering/charging the quest 3 while on and linked to PC, has a nice feel, and handy velcro to affix to the quest headband.

    Highly recommended.

Using this plugged into a 10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, and a 3A wall adapter for power.

The Oculus app reports 2.5Gbps bandwidth and a green checkmark. After playing for over an hour, the battery remained at 99%. It eliminated the periodic drop in bitrate I normally experience using Air Link, and I’m still experimenting to see how high the image quality can go.

This one works great. It takes up 2 ports on the computer, a USB C and a USB port. But it charges and allows you to play VR games from your computer.

I believe here are a couple choices for length. I’d say go larger than you think. I had to buy some extension cables for one computer in my bourse since it’s not in an open area. And I like suspending the cable from the ceiling to minimize tripping.

It was a bit tough to plug in to the headset the first couple times. But that is good as it stays in securely and doesn’t fall out while playing.

The cable has a good amount of length and feels great. It’s light enough to not be restricting in play but has enough heft that it doesn’t feel cheap. While linked to a PC and playing it’s able to keep the device charging at a solid rate. There’s a blue LED on the USB-C connector which I’m not a fan of, but it’s not a big deal.

There are ….three other cables I believe I’ve tried. This is the only one that has lasted more than two months, no problem with connection, not once. I don’t even need to say any more; but, if you have questions about it, this does what you want it to do yes, and it does not break. My brand loyalty to this cable company is growing, I am consistently impressed at how they solve the basics like this elegantly, sort of putting competition to shame to be honest, not to be unfair but it’s true- and it’s not exorbitantly expensive either. If you want to use your computer with rift link, and not lose charge: this one. Buy this one, save yourself a headache and money and just take my experience and word on it.

    Update (julio 29-2023)

    Buena calidad, excelente servicio postventa

I really wish someone could have told me about this cable before I went through like 10 different ones that didn’t work. This will keep your headset charged indefinitely. (I think 4 weeks if you were playing 100% of the time) So yeah, If you are playing VR for more than a few hours at a time, and you don’t ever want to worry about the battery dying, get this headset. Also get a pully system to really solidify your setup.
Edit: Forgot to mention that my oculus test gets 2.4 Gbps and I have both connections plugged into my computer.

Bought it for my Quest 2 and it works 🙂 Surprisingly sturdy.

I have a Mini-ITX motherboard so an expansion card was out of the question sadly (there are some that are capable to charge while playing) and a single USB-C cable is enough.

So, when I received the cable and started using it, I used it incorrectly and was wondering why it wasn’t charging. I only used the USB so I could play but didn’t plug in the USB C. You plug in the USB side to your computer and the opposite C end to your quest. Then, take the C part that’s on the B side and plug it into your charging oculus port. That way you can keep a charge and play your game and have a wonderful time.!!!

I play games on the Meta Quest 2 with a PC link cable because it has better graphics quality and is more reliable playing online. The battery would previously last about 2 hours and require about 2 hours to recharge. With this cable attached to the PC and Quest charger it remained close to 100% for over 5 hours play time. I have no doubt it would easily allow day-long continuous play. No more low battery warnings. Worth it if you don’t mind being wired to a computer.

This cable exudes quality. The cladding is braided nylon, not pvc. The plug boots are somewhat short though. Loved the LED on the Quest plug side. Both videos and games rendering were smooth at 1080p and higher. I did not aim for 4K. I don’t see 20/20, so I figure I won’t benefit much from it.
Despite it’s great looks, I had some issues.
My Oculus link app would not see the cable on my USB 3.2 DAC (variable voltage) ports. It did connect on the USB 3.1 port. As advertised, it increased battery life. After some 4 hrs of usage, the headset was still 85% charged.
Additionally, the speed test showed just 1.60 Gbps, which is almost half what I saw on cheaper made cables. The app would freeze if I ran the test after the headset was fully configured. This didn’t happen with the Syntech wire. I’m subtracting 1 star for this. I will compare JSAUX vs Syntech on my Youtube channel.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had initially thought that the USB-C was the one that went into the computer and that caused me a bit of confusion when I first got it. But after setting it up right it worked perfectly and allowed me to play games for an indefinite amount of time when using pcvr, however, I was unable to test it at maximum quality since my computer has a rather outdated graphics card. (TLDR: when testing at the medium quality it allowed infinite playtime. Also, the max transfer is about 2 Gbps for me.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThe TL;DR version: reliable for weeks so far. Keeps headset charged. No issues. Build quality seems great. My new top pick!

I love PCVR. I built my current PC with VR as the primary purpose. Virtual Desktop and Air Link are cool, but they aren’t as good as a wired connection. I’ve tried and used many different cables for Link. I used to own the official cable sold by Oculus. I have used powered extenders with active repeaters. I have used unpowered active repeaters. I have used fiber optic and copper wire. I have used native USB-C (both ends are USB-C without any adapter), USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5gbps) and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10gbps) cables. My previous favorite cable was a 5 meter native USB-C cable with an active repeater in the center. Cable Creations? Anyway, one problem with that cable is it is quite stiff. Almost like RG59. I use cable pulleys to keep my cable above me and Velcro cable zips to hold the cable secure to the quest 2, but rigid cables wear out with too much bending, so getting a year out of one of those cables is impressive. It also only tested at 1.8gbps in the Oculus cable test. My motherboard has USB-C USB 3.2 gen 2×2 on the I/O shield on the back and a header for a case with USB C port. It’s a high end board (evga z390 dark). Kept my headset charged all the time but it was the most reliable I found before.

Anyway, this cable is nearly perfect! I love that it’s white (I got the Corsair virtuoso headset in white with white ear pads to match my Q2.. my PC is also white). USB 3.2 gen 2 and gives an Oculus test speed of 2.7gbps. a powered cable that ACTUALLY KEEPS THE HEADSET CHARGED! (Be sure to use a quality charger adapter). The soft blue light on the quest end of the cable to show it has power. It weight and flexibility and jacket of the cable. Time will tell how it holds up but after several weeks it’s proven to be reliable and no signs of wear.

As someone who has tried close to 15 cables for reviewing, this is my new top pick!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was looking for a way to charge and to get the best graphics for my quest pro . And man it does work beautifully graphics and charges my headset.. make sure to plug the power first . Second plug the headset to make sure it’s charging then third plug it in to your computer works every time . It will die super slowly or stay around 70 to 65 percent for me . The cord is wonderful as well compared to other thick cords that get tangled . This cord doesn’t get tangled love i
