The actual ram for the pc is great, however they use Royal Mail for delivery and we all know they can’t meet deadlines so even with a 24h guaranteed delivery, it was still late.

For a suite of applications, I need a alternative user profile setting. Surprised that they work off a VM (virtualbox) but that brought my 16GB RAM to its knee. With this 2x32GB, gives me 80GB in total. Main PC and VM and respective applications within both are working more smoothly, but I don’t feel an overall uplift. Booting time is probably 10% quicker, but no significant different to others. Davinci Resolve loads about 10% quicker too, and again, everything is much smoother. VM takes as long to load and log in. It’s time these applications make use of additional RAM. Gaming does not increase much capacity neither; it’s smoother but not a huge gain beyond that. The RAM kit is fine and great. I think also the noticeable gain is already a massive positive improvement. My CPU is running usually below 10%.

    2nd day use

Performance of my VM has not changed from the slight improvement yesterday after the +64GB increase. What is much more impressive now is the Davinci Resolve loads about two-thirds quicker, from about 15 seconds to about 4 seconds. Loading a project takes half the time.

With Chrome and other background things running (VPN, scheduled backup, scanning, email checker etc.) along with Davinci Resolve, I loaded Premier Pro CS6. There is noticeable difference of about 50% start up and loading time with the +64GB.

    Everything, my i7 CPU is running at 4-6% load, and RAM is at 26%: 20.xx / 79.8 available. (16GB + 64GB). I wonder what gain I get if I upgrade to i9. But I don’t *need* it. 🙂

Product was easy to install, DDR4 3200HZ RAM. Has a lovely RGB effect and goes well with my green RGB gaming setup. The only downside to this product is the software to change the colour of the light strip on the RAM itself, the software is called Fury Ctrl. It’s buggy to say the least and it was a nightmare to install onto the PC. It’s still not working but my motherboard also has RGB and this does have issues with “other” RGB software. I eventually looked in my RGB motherboard software and it had added another module which could then change the colour, it’s a bit buggy but it now works. So if you have a gigabyte board then make sure you uninstall the motherboard fusion or any RGB software, then install the Fury Ctrl and then overlay your motherboard fusion driver again. This is just me so others might not get these issues, but it’s a bit buggy. The RAM itself is excellent and very quick, I’ve noticed a big difference in response during gaming. Very cheap for the money as well only 65 just over for 16GB. Well happy

These memory sticks are just as easy or hard to install as any other DDR sticks. ( have done quite a few on different motherboards and different types of DDR) Hence the easy to install score.
They are faster than my old memory sticks and the result is noticeable in some games.
They also conform to Gigabytes’ RGB Fusion 2.0 standard so work well for me.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersTook me a while to figure out this is exactly the same piece of hardware as my old HyperX Fury 8gb ram sticks. Fits right in alongside them, works fine, and the RGB syncs up nicely.

Great syncing for RCB with an supporting motherboard, in this case used with an ASUS TUF Gaming Pro board, using Aura Sync – other RGB sync programs no doubt supported. RAM performance very good.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOrdered this for my GT13-1047na (Ryzen 7-5800X) system. Installed with ease. System recognised it straight away and ram at 3200MHz with no fuss or settings changes required. I had Ryzen master pre installed just incase but was not needed!

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI have a HP OMEN 30L GT13 1056 (Intel) PC. I’ve been reading about RAM upgrades for weeks trying to get through the information and mis-information about what you can and can’t do with these machines because of HP getting in the way, locking things down, and limiting access to XMP profiles in the BIOS meaning everything would run at 2400mhz, even though RAM is spec’d for something much greater. I was trying to buy HP’s proper ‘HyperX Fury’ to limit chances of incompatibility, but couldn’t find it for sale any legitimate source. I got so frustrated with it that I decided to buy what looks right (Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 – 2x8GB kit), and try to fix-forward once I had it. Ordered yesterday, arrived today (thanks Amazon Prime!).

It installed as easily as you’d expect for a RAM upgrade. RGB all seems to work fine, and it’s doing what my other 2 DIMMs do. 32GB now registered – 4x 8GB DIMMs, but it was running at 2400mhz… So, fix forward time….

Turns out, with the new DIMMs, the HP BIOS (hit escape repeatedly as the machine is turning on, and when the boot menu loads select ‘configure’ (or something like that)) opens up additional configuration options! In the BIOS config options, there is now an XMP Profiles section which wasn’t there before!! I’ve set to Profile option 1, saved and rebooted. It rebooted itself a couple of times, but I’m now back in Windows, and RAM is all running at 3200MHz!

    Sweet!

So, if you’re a new HP Omen user with Intel Chipset and HyperX FURY RGB RAM, and you’re wondering how you can get more RAM – buy this, install, set XMP profile in BIOS that magically appear and reboot. Sorted.

I replaced the existing RAM with the Kingston RAM and it worked immediately. I made sure that the settings in the bios picked up on the speed and timings. I have an AMD processor in an Asus x570 motherboard and there was no drama and the RAM RGB picked up the motherboard RGB settings.

Initially I couldn’t find any Kingston Fury RGB software but eventually it appeared on the Microsoft Store. I decided to stay with the ASUS software as it had the patterns I required. Note that there may be an initial delay in independent Video card RGB kicking in after boot. I guess the devices are contending for the same control elements.

My Gaming PC which I use on a daily basis was starting to slow down and I realised that it was time for a RAM upgrade. As someone that enjoys making PC games on my PC as well as alternating between gaming and graphic design on consumption heavy softwares such as Photoshop, I needed a proper upgrade and this memory kit by Kingston was exactly what I needed.

This DDR4 FURY Impact RAM sticks give drastically improved my work flow and gaming experience, where no longer do my softwares crash or freeze. This could easily be because of the drastic improvement in performance and overall higher processing speeds. For exact metrics, power consumption has dropped by 40% (in comparison to the previous version DDR3) with a performance and bandwidth boost of 50%.

This set includes 2×8 GB RAM sticks with 3200MHz speeds, however this listing on Amazon by Kingston allows for some serious customisation so this can change to your tailored liking. It is also easy to install, first remove your old RAM sticks carefully by pushing down on the clip on the side of the ram stick on the motherboard and lifting them out. To install the new RAM sticks, simply push them into the slot on your motherboard until you hear a click. Though please ensure your PC is off when doing this and any unsaved work is backed up and saved.

Overall, excellent quality by a reputable brand. 5 stars!

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

These RAM modules work incredibly well and fitting was simple into an AMD motherboard.
On opening, these modules are really well made and feel quite weighty as they come fitted with some very good quality heat spreaders. These are a DDR4 layout and will be suitable for most modern computers but these modules are most suited to a gaming machine.
Fitting these to the board was simple and they slotted straight in without a problem, then when the computer started up the LEDs on the top of the casing flashed up showing that they have been recognised.
The motherboard I fitted these to supports Asus Aura and after a few simple settings these modules were in sync with the Aura program and other hardware. I made a short video that shows the modules working which is included in this review.
I have so far run several applications and a few games to test these and they are performing flawlessly at their recommended ratings. I haven’t wanted to overclock these just incase I damaged them but I would imagine there will be some headroom if that’s what you like to do. I have found that running these at the stated settings of 3200mhz CL16 is plenty fast enough and is completely stable on everything that I have tried on them.
Being as these support the Asus Aura and other computer lighting systems, if you have other lighting devices of the same type then they can all be linked to run the same programmed colours and looks stunning bringing a gaming system to life in a whole new way.
Superb RAM modules that look amazing.

I received the 16GB kit for review, which is comprised of two 8GB sticks. 16GB is plenty for most people’s needs, whether for everyday activities, or for gaming. Graphic designers and big data scientists might need more if they use their PC for their work.

The RGB lighting looks nice (but is not to everyone’s taste: non-rgb RAM is also available if so), and can be configured to display different colours. The two RAM sticks are synced, and it works from the moment you turn the PC on.

To install it you either need to be comfortable with opening your computer up, or otherwise will need to pay a computer technician. The actual installation is super easy: there are plenty of guides online, but make sure you unplug the PC and take other safety measures first. The PC should recognise the new RAM as soon as you turn it on. The RAM itself looks and feels solid, and is definitely an upgrade on what I had before.

I have no complaints about this RAM kit, but I have found out that the manufacturer of my desktop PC (HP) limits some of the functionality of this RAM: they do not allow XMP profiles, meaning that this RAM runs at the default lower speed of 2400 MHz rather than the maximum of 3200 MHz. But this problem would apply to any other RAM kit, as it is an issue with the PC manufacturer.

A fair price for a good RGB RAM if you want to use this brand.

I originally have Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO with the same spec in my (first build) PC so if you were to compare the two, the Kingston Fury sticks are smaller in physical size and cheaper but also run slower than the speed listed out of the box, although I believe you can configure them in the BIOS to allow them to run faster. I am running an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with a Gigabyte A520M DS3H Motherboard and had no issues with installation or setup of this RAM.

The RGB software is NGenuity which I was prompted to install from the windows store. It was very easy to set up the lighting with a fair amount of options and ability to layer the lighting effects if you so desire. The RGB is not too in-your-face but has less customizability compared to my Corsair ones. The last thing to be aware of is the fact that if you use different brands in your PC for RGB lighting effects you will end up with lots of different softwares in order to customise them as each of the brands run different software.
