Looks smart, but will be a Christmas present.
This set has been bought as a gift, so I can only say this much for now. However, it is a smart looking set and it is nice to come away from the traditional knives in a block.
Good knives
This is a very good selection of knives, like all knives should be sharpened regularly. The handle is easy and comfortable to hold and the design of the blades are very good. However, be careful with the handles as the soft ergonomic material coating it (the coloured material) may start to come off if you handle it to abrasively including while cleaning.
Knives and block
The acrylic stand is a bit flimsy but the knives seem to be ok although its a bit to soon to really tell have only used two so far it remains to be seen how they carry on performing 6 month from now.
Amount of cost /good value
I got these knives for my Grand Daughter as she has just moved into her new flat. She was so delighted with them, she loved the colour of the handles they are beautiful and light up her kitchen. She also loved the knife holder.
Really nice produc
Really nice knives both in terms of look and functionality. They have a water resistant layer over the metal itself which is a nice touch to prevent rusting. They work very well so far in terms of cutting so all in all a nice product for normal kitchen use
Aesthetically pleasing but you get what you pay fo
Knives and stand look amazing. Real stand out in any kitchen. I am still really pleased when I walk in and they bring a smile to my face. The knives themselves are good and if you are slicing through or cutting lighter pieces of fruit, bread etc then they are great however if you are trying a Swede or something more challenging then they will do the job but definitely struggle and I can see why they might snap. Possibly I should have paid more for a better quality of strength knife set but for the money I did pay I do accept that I did get a nice set of knives that do me a job on lighter items and look great in the kitchen. Definitely one of those occasions where you get what you pay for! Personally for me I would also stick to hand washing as I would worry dish washer might ruin quickly…..just a personal opinion.
Nice but not perfec
I love the way these knives look, very elegant and compliments any kitchen.
Nice and sharp but do need looking after, so no dishwasher, just a rinse and a wipe for cleaning.
The only issue I have with these is once again a question of build quality, as you can see from the picture the aerated knife is coming out of the handle. So when slicing bread the blade moves back and forth inside the handle, not great but for the money maybe to be expected.
