Works well where others quickly fail
It replaces an easy grips one where all the teeth on the lower rotating wheel got stripped off really quickly, this one is holding up well so far, and is more weighty than its competitors.
very easy to use
This opener is the easiest opener to use i’ve tried, cuts into the can very easy with hardly any pressure needed on the handles, and the turn handle is smooth and light to turn.
The bes
The best tin opener I ever had. They work with ease, no struggle at all. They look like the same basic design as IKEA openers, but no comparison at all, worth the rather huge cost so long as they continue to work as they now do.

Best tin opener I have ever owned.
I have severe repetitive strain in both hands & opening cans with this has genuinely been a game changer and totally refreshing experience. I have been in such pain from just opening a can for the past few years until this arrived!
It helps that is is a good looking can opener which happens to match my other KitchenAid appliances…that aside it is genuinely easy and to use. A fantastic purchase!

Replaced my OXO Good Grips can opener, which had started to fail frequently, leaving jagged or uncut metal on cans.

Finally threw out my old can opener and bought these. Didn’t know KitchenAid even made can openers but very glad they do. Sturdy, lovely thick handle and very smooth action.
