Great for hot days
It’s a really good size, very pleased with that. Also I’ve had other cooling mats and this one feels so much thicker, much better quality as well. My dog died choose to lay on this on the warmer days.

My Retriever loves this
It took about a week of hot weather for my Flat Coated Retriever to figure out that this mat was for her and a cool place to lie down. Now that she’s used to it, she spends a lot of time sleeping on it. A good buy and it works.

I bought this because my dogs needed help keeping cool. It took them a couple of weeks to actually lie on the mat instead of walking around it. They got used to it though& it does keep them cooler.

Our Springer loves it, took to is straight away, and it does work, otherwise he’d be off it like a shot, his breathing is much better in the warm days when on there.

Can not be classed as large.
This can not be classed as a large, I have a 5 month old boxer puppy and he can just fit on this, won’t be big enough for him in a few months time, so how they can show in the picture that it’s big enough for a dog that size is untrue.
A Great Cooling Ma
Buddy loves his cooling mats and this one is just as good! It’s very cold, great quality and it’s very easy to clean and fold away when needed to. I will definitely buy again if we need another one.

Bought this in the peak of summer, our dog wasn’t interested in it for a while, it was mostly us sitting on it, gradually she did get used to it,and was very glad of it on hot days.
Was a bit skeptical about this product at first, but when I bought it and tried it out, it actually feels really cool. I sat on it myself and after about 30 seconds, I could feel the cool. The dog loves it. Since we had a heatwave, our dog finds different spots in the house to cool off. Once he worked out what the mat does, he lays on it any time he needs to cool off instead of hiding near a skirting board. When he gets up off it and we go to give him a belly rub, he belly feels cool. I don’t know how the mat works, but it definitely works. The mat can be cleaned easily and it folds up to store it somewhere safe.

Our dog is a bit indifferent to the pad – maybe because she prefers a softer mattress to sleep on, but it is very cooling and every so often she will choose to lie on it for a few minutes.

Bought this as my fluffy Cocker Spaniel gets hot at night in warm weather and I wanted to be able to take it to the beach to help her stay cool.
It is definitely cool to the touch and she does sleep on it, not sure its going to be cool enough for her at the beach or that I’m going to be able to get her to lie on it!
I bought the Large (50cm x 90cm) and not sure it would fit bigger than my Cocker Spaniel, she fills it when she sprawls out!
I was sent one of these via Amazon for product feedback for development with no obligation to review, but having tried and tested it, I thought I would share my experiences as this could help other dog owners.
During the last hot spell we had my dog just couldn’t get comfortable and was lying on the tiled floor trying to cool off and panting like he had run a marathon. This mat is a pretty good way of helping him cool down whilst also giving him a little padding instead of a solid floor. The pad is squidgy and you can hear a fluid gurgling around in it. There is a note on the pad to say that it is non-toxic and the wipe clean cover is pretty tough , but you will need to take care with it and not use it with a dog that chews or a cat that likes to claw up bedding.
I stood bare foot on the mat and it has an amazing cooling effect – very nice actually and reminded me a bit of memory foam, but without the insulating heat effect. If the idea doesn’t fill you with disgust you could even pop this in the your fridge on the hottest days. It folds down neatly when not in use, but opens up into a fair sized mat. I had the 50×65 mat which was fine for my friends visiting small dog. My dog is much larger, but the main bulk of his body was on the mat so he was benefitting.
Initially, there was some reluctance to get on the mat, but it didn’t take long for him to work out that it was cooler and more comfortable than the bare floor. I did try it in his basket, but he still wanted to get out an lie on the floor (old habits). Now I just leave the pad on the floor so if he is cool enough he can get back in his basket. I also use this in the back of the car to help cool him down.
Dogs don’t sweat to cool down, so this is a nice way of helping them get comfortable. This is such a great device and I am so pleased with it.
