Easy to use and the different settings are good. The red LED is useful to save battery and is fine on its own for walking. The main beams are quite powerful. Seems relatively waterproof and the headband is comfortable.
    Good value for money

I think these headlamps are great, got initially for camping and was so impressed I got my wife one too. We keep them in our camper and they hold charge for ages, our first trip after winter and they still last the weekend without charging. Plenty bright enough for anything we’ve needed, plus different modes and red “night vision” light 🙂

My wife uses this light to take out our puppy at night to do his business and she wouldn’t be without it.
Its usb rechargeable so not hassle with battery charging and the charge last a good while and so easy plugging into a usb port to recharge.
Its a good fitting elasticated strap to wear on the head and leaves your hands free to do what ever you need to do.
We wouldn’t be without this even without having a dog it is great for doing jobs in the loft or any dark area where you don’t want to have to try holding a torch while using your both hands.
It is up in fact like having a third hand and a battery charge lasts around ten days on average for taking the dog out to toilet twice each night.

I was searching for an LED pendant suitable for reading a book in an armchair in low light or bed at night.
A reviewer commented that he found pendant LEDs to be unsuitable but found a headtorch to be ideal so I ordered this model
At first I found this to be totally unsuitable for this purpose as the light overshot the top of the book.

However, after taking the trouble to read and follow the instructions, I found that the feature to swivel and point the unit downwards from the strap illuminated the pages perfectly – Duh !

So it’s job done well and a ‘5’ from me

Bought this for night dog walking and its great. Really bright white light and also red one. Several settings on both colours. Can be tilted for optimum coverage. Easy to charge up takes about an hour using USB port. Adjustable elastic head strap. Better used over a hat as it messes up long hair!!

I use this to read at night to help me sleep it has different settings so i can have it low so i can read and drift off but it can also be really bright so it’s good for a lot of different reasons

Very good quality product which is easy to use. Great as a torch and also has a blinking red/white light option for when you are running or riding your bike at night.
Rechargeable battery lasts a long time and it is very comfortable to wear on your head. I thought that I needed to put a light on the outside of my house for when I put the bins out in the dark or to open my front door when coming home late at night. However this light is a much better option.

Very happy with this torch. I like the brighter spot in the middle with the ambient light around, works really well. Rechargable too, so no faffing about with batteries. Used for backpacking trips where I can recharge using my small powerpack that charges my phone. It’s not quite a petzl but it’s not far off either and good value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m on my second one, but because I lost my first one not because it’s given up on me.
Fact I bought another says something about it being pretty good.
I hiked the second tallest peak in Wales, totally in the dark, and over 5 hours of hiking it worked just fine. I didn’t use it on full bright all the time, only rarely, and big part of the time just on the red light, to allow my eyes to rest and be able to distinguish things far in the dark distant night. It stays pretty well on my head even with a beanie on, grips tight. Plenty of adjustment and I feel like it also doesn’t take too long to charge for how long it can run. I like not having to worry about alkaline batteries depleting and then having to buy others, this one you just plug in, charge it, and you’re good to use it for a whole night (carefully).

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWell when the missus broke her wrist I thought “well that’s her cleaning up the spout”, we’ll be spending more time together. She’s a bit of a clean freak and loves getting under beds, back of cupboards and any nooks and crannies she can find to dust, clean and generally fuss over.
Of course these dark places require torches and we have quite a collection of those super bright little ones which she couldn’t hold now because of the break. Then she found this online at Amazon and all her prayers were answered and she loves it.! It is a great little “gadget” and I can even see uses for myself – when I can’t see if there’s any beers left at the back of the cupboard I can strap this to my head and knock stuff around with both hands as I frantically search – winner winner, beer with dinner.!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought this light as back up to an ageing bike light..it’s nowhere near as bright as claimed…it’s doesn’t illuminate 150 metres or even 150 feet ..I cycle down unlit paths and through wooded areas and need a decent light..it’s enough to light up 25 feet in front of you but not much further… elastic head band is a nice touch as is the adjustable beam angle…not expensive either…just not as bright as I wanted or was hoping for..cable very short too

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as bright as I expected

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought it because of the separate button for red light, which I use at night and in summer/autumn the insects won’t pester you. If you use white light you’ll get every bug for miles around landing on you. The white light I use around the house for intricate jobs. It seems OK so far, no complaints. A lot cheaper than many competitors. I just wish it didn’t have flashing modes – WHY?

Great headtorch, I use it for night fishing. Nice bright light and lasts ages between charges.
Red light is a good feature to not lose your night vision. Down side you have to scroll through the modes to switch it on and off but that’s not a biggie. Also could do with a wide angle option like on my petzl one, but I can’t sleep with that on due to the separate battery pack. A great little unit to have as a spare/sleeping torch. You can never have enough torches!!!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersMy previous head-torch was snaffled by my beloved, so this one did have a benchmark to meet. So far it’s been really excellent and is delivering everything I need.

I use it for dog walking so the ’tilt’ adjustment is essential so the light hits the floor and doesn’t blind fellow walkers – the tilt adjusts easily, doesn’t slip, and stays where it’s set. The light is absolutely bright enough and is a clean, white light. It can adjust down a brightness setting which I do use when I move from the dark to our low-light streetlit area. It has ‘flash’ mode and also red+red-flash mode which although I don’t use them I find it useful to be available for emergencies.

My previous one was batteries and this is rechargeable, which I did approach with trepidation – however, no need to worry at all. It holds its charge really well – I’ve walked for about 5hrs so far and not needed to recharge. I checked the charge when it arrived and it has a red charging light which changes to green when fully charged so it’s easy to see when charging is complete.

Finally, but an incredibly important part of head torches, the elastic headband is really comfortable but is strong enough and doesn’t allow the head torch to slip/move even when adjusting tilt, etc.

Whilst other ‘incredibly bright’ torches are available, I need to preserve the retinas of fellow walkers and this one does everything I need … and … as I’m a moody cow with absolutely *NO* tolerance whatsoever for poor product design (which sends me into a complete rage because it’s not necessary) I think this is a 5-star review ;o)

Golden Review Award: 32 From Our Users… of running outdoors and bought lots of ‘cold weather kit’. I wasn’t intending on running at night (I can trip over easily enough in daylight ) but got caught out by a fast-falling dusk so decided to get a head-lamp incase it happened again. I didn’t really ‘know’ what I was buying but went more on price.

The headband is stretchy to be comfortable and can be lengthened/shortened for good fit. The light can be directed straight ahead or lowered through stages towards the ground. There is a hole for recharging through a usb port which can be sealed to prevent rain getting in; or, in my case, landing in puddles. It has one white and two red bulbs which can come on independently or together. You can choose white to come on as main beam, dipped or flashing; red does fast flash, slow flash or on. Main beam is Very bright. The control buttons are easy to use even when being worn. I’m not able to comment on the battery life as I haven’t run far with it yet.

Update: I have just done a fiddly diy job in a hard to reach and dark place. This was great for being able to see what I was doing and use both hands. Not what I bought it for but Sooo handy to make a difficult job more easy. I’m now doubly pleased with my purchase and would add another star if I could.

Came in time-slot, well packed for delivery and easy to open. In nice sales box if given as a gift. I’m well pleased with my choice.
