My 4 year old grandson had lots of fun putting this together as his first proper Lego set, having been a Duplo user for the last couple of years. It feeds perfectly into his love of superheroes and emphasises fun rather than the more violent aspects of the genre. A great way for a little boy to learn about organised building and following instructions.

Christmas present for a 4 year old. Lego should look at producing non transport sets (not cars, planes, helicopters, etc). They once produced Legoland with character figures that were very popular with our children.

Lego’s Spider-Man Webquarters Hangout has everything! It comes with everything for multiple children to play together, which I love. My kids’ imagination runs wild when they get this set-out. They love all the accessories (cars, skateboards, basketball) that came with each character.
The manual is very clear and easy to follow, both for experienced and novice builders. If your child is a bit older and/or has experience with other building sets, he can build very quickly using the clear photo manual.
There is a lot to discover and there are also many figures to play with and which you can do different things. With a little imagination and experience, the tower can be converted into your own creation in no time.
    We love this set!

    Highly recommended!

The usual brilliant quality you expect from lego, very solid. The colours are bright and eye-catching, really got my attention.

This set is a good size, many sections to the set, a bit larger than expected which was a nice surprise, but packs a lot of playability, Encourages lots of imagination play.

It was fairly straightforward to build and not too time consuming. We had nearly a 3 hours of fun building up this set with our 8 years old, then another 2 hours of minifigures action role play. It has lots of interesting cute figures and little play bits with it. My son really enjoyed putting this together, as usual there were fairly easy to follow instructions and you can see the set up come together really well . We really liked all the minifigures and little details in this set.

Fantastic product, amazing quality. However, I do find Lego a bit on the pricey side for the size of the end product hence the 4 out of 5 rating.

First impressions of this were positive, it comes in a nice branded box and so would make a good gift. It’s recommended for ages 4+, my daughters 3 so we built it together which we both really enjoyed. To be honest I think a 4 year old would also need support building it, despite the instructions being very easy to follow it’s quite fiddly.

Once assembled it’s also really fun to play with, my daughter especially likes the little basket ball + hoop and the little Lego spider webs to swing Spider-Man on. As a parent I was impressed you get the main building plus a few Lego figures and vehicles, the set feels complete and there’s nothing missing that my daughters going to want me to buy as an add on like a lot of these types of toys have.

Overall we’re both really pleased with this and would definitely recommend for any Spider-Man fans. 5 out of 5 from us!

5.0 out of 5 stars We’re big fans of this se

With 5 lego minifigures including spider-man this set is great for imaginative play. My nephew finds this set very entertaining. He, like his Daddy loves Marvel and Spiderman. He loves the ball park and webs! He also loves the various modes of transport. He had great fun building it and it also taught him how to be patient and follow instructions. It was a very rewarding and self accomplishing experience.

Lego puts so much attention to detail in their products. This attention to detail just can’t be beaten which is why Lego is hugely popular.

Lego is also very trusted. It meet, and often exceeds, toy safety standards around the world. As an aquarium keeper i’ve known people making Lego scenes and caves to add to their aquariums. Looks pretty awesome too. It’s defo on my to do list! A bit irrelevant i know, but says a lot when even underwater Lego can stand the test of time!

This is a fun Lego set. It really sparks the imagination of my five year old little boy. This particular set was a easy enough for my little boy with limited support from my husband to build.

You get to build a super fun Super-Hero hangout, along with a giant spider HQ which helps create the stories for playing. I love the little Ghost Copter and a Goblin car which comes with the set. The copter is great fun for pretending to fly and characters can hold onto the web that connects to the goblin car.

My little boy loved using the characters on the slides and getting his little Spiderman figure to play basketball with the little basket. There were 5 LEGO minifigures included which are Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, Miles Morales, Ms Marvel, and supervillain Green Goblin. These allow my little boy to create his own story lines along with the accessories. The accessories are quite small so these do need to be kept safe when not playing.

As always with the high brand name, the Lego set is durable and well made. It fits together well and looks good when finished. It works well with other Spiderman Lego sets to build a whole scene.

This is an interesting LEGO set as its spiderman for 4+ but the set seems like a generic set just used with spiderman themes. It seems less creative and original vs other sets but this is still a useful set for collectors for the 5 minifigs that you get with this.

Probably a little pricey for me in this set, but if you’re a lego collector like me, you can’t say no to this!

Three numbers bags and three instruction booklets to follow in this kit. As organised as ever from Lego! (One unnumbered bag for the lage bits)

The booklet is odd. It has a set of hands to show you the pieces rather than having them at the top of the page. I guess ot because it’s for 4+. There’s also a little character that walks along a line at the bottom of the page to show you how far you are from the end! Cute, but only I noticed it, not my kids!

There are pictures on bricks but not stickers to stick (a good thing!). Any pictures are pre printed on the brick, not pre stuck stickers. Some of the bits are also made easier with specialist bricks. The steps are really small on each page so it’s really simple to follow.

Took some time to build as we had to pause at the first build to shoot some hoops!! (Maybe 40 min all included, max)

Some cute features. The little playstation controller is cool!!

Summary: easy to build for younger fans bit still an impressive build once done. There is very little that can go wrong (make sure blue pillars are the correct way?)

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to build

This lego set comes in a decent size box, so would be great for a gift. The age is recommended for 4+. The theme is Spidey’s Amazing Friends. The set itself is formed of many pieces, and it isn’t that difficult to work out how to put it together like some of the more complex lego sets that are available now-a-days. I have done a few sets where you need to follow step by step the instructions, which dependant on your child’s age range can put them off on occasions as they just want to slap the pieces together. This set is more about fun than thinking… my nephew is everything spiderman and iron man, so this set is right up his street. As usual with lego it’s very well made and feels like quality. The price this sells for i feel is reasonable for the entertainment value alone. I suspect when finished this will be one of the lego sets that become a forever toy, not to be dismantled. I would definitely recommend this set if you child is spiderman obsessed!

    Pieces: 155
Price per brick: 29p (at RRP)

This Spidey and His Amazing Friends Webquarters Hangout set has an age recommendation of 4+, and this younger age targeting shows in the nature of the build and the number of bricks you get from a set with an RRP of 44.99.

The set has only 155 pieces, which on the face of it makes this look like comparatively poor value at 29p per brick. However, there are none of the smallest pieces, and a significant proportion of the included components are larger, easier to handle bricks — including webs, base plates, a chute/slide, a large Spiderman head for the top of the base, and a basketball hoop – that make up to fairly sizeable components. There are also a number of accessories — a guitar, a speaker, a games controller, pizzas, an easel, a basketball, and a paintbrush — that don’t require building, so much as positioning and playing with.

The set is generous on minifigs (there are five of these: Spidey, Ghost Spider, Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Ms Marvel, and the Green Goblin) and includes three vehicles. It’s a well-thought-out build for younger users accessing Lego.

The build is divided over three bags, with minifigs in each. The first bag makes up Spidey and the headquarters building; Bag 2 includes Ms Marvel, the Green Goblin, the Green Goblin’s flier, the car, and a few accessories; Bag 3 is Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Ghost Spider, Ghost Spider’s flier, and stands with an easel and speaker on them. Instructions are, as ever, detailed, clearly printed and easy to follow.

I liked the way this largish set was effectively divided into three smaller builds, so it can easily be broken into three separate building sessions for younger and less experienced builders.

I also appreciated the fact that the Spidey minifig — the most important character for many youngsters — is the absolute first part of this build.

Quite a fun set with a good array of Marvel characters to keep young ones amused, including Miles Morales who seems to be the in thing in Spidey cartoons these days.

My 4 (nearly 5) year old built most of this but needed a wee bit of assistance. The main set isn’t used as much as the vehicles and characters which he uses to have battles and include with other sets.
