HARDER THAN IT LOOKS
This I think is harder than it looks and a seven-year-old would struggle I feel, maybe 10+ would be better, it will take some time to assemble but the price is just about fair. The item did arrive on time and in good condition so a good seller.
Great set for kids
This is a great set for kids, but can be tricky with some bits.
The pull back motion works really well and have had hours of play without many parts falling off.
Recommend these as a nice family build with your own kid.
Lego Technic
Excellent value for money and my Granddaughter aged 7 loves the fact you get the option of two cars from the same package, she also likes the pullback and go function of them she and her dad were having races on the kitchen floor to who was the fastest.
Splendid looking machine!
I got this for my Grandson’s 6th birthday and he is delighted with it! He is a Lego fan anyway, and this is his first ‘Technic’ Lego, so very excited about it!
Great gift for a Lego fa
Great quality, sturdy Lego as usual. The box was well package and undamaged on arrival. This was easy for a 10 year old to put together and looks great on the shelf next to the other monster trucks. Good size truck for a great price
This set represents excellent value for money. It has a relatively large number of pieces for a comparatively small price. It’s sturdy, looks great, has an excellent pull-back mechanism and (importantly for kids) can actually be played with. Stop thinking about it and just buy it.

Everyone knows the brand so know its good quality. Average sized box, a little smaller than a shoe box.
At a bargain price I’d say its a good gift to have in the present cuboard for those emergency situations!!

These monster trucks are fantastic toys that are great fun to build and result in a quality toy that provides hours of fun. Our little guy loves these and this one was his favourite! Bought when on offer which was outstanding value for money.
Great price
We are big fans of Lego in our house but it can be pricey even if it is worth the money. This was bought when on offer and it was amazing value for money.
I purchased this item for my partner who loves doing lego construction in his spare time.
It is for age 7 Yr + so ideal for adults as well as children over 7.
Once built it has a pull back action when playing with it and has awesome graphic stickers.
You can also track your progress on the lego builders app, enabling you to rotate and zoom in. This makes assembling easy and a great added feature.
There was no missing parts and overall happy with the purchase.
Currently great price well worth buying , I will be purchasing more at this price as gifts.

Ten year old made it easily as he has experience. the instructions came in a nice big booklet and afterwards he had fun racing with it. It is sturdy as well when it drives no parts fell off
brilliant gift idea
bought this as a birthday gift, for my sons school friend, so not actually seen it open. it was on sale then had a further 4 voucher attached so got it for 10 which I thought was a decent price. I liked the idea that once built you could also play with it. so you got more for your money. arrived in perfect condition, my son saw it and wanted to keep it for himself so no doubt ill be purchasing some more from this range.

Amazing fun to construct. Great desig
I really enjoyed putting this together. Easy enough to follow, with a small amount of challenge. But not too much I might add. Completely enjoyable. Well designed and look amazing. This is taking pride of place on my book case. You cannot beat Lego. The class just keeps on advancing. Lego for ever!
This was a gift for my 11 year old nephew. I had it delivered straight to him. He was absolutely thrilled and love it. He enjoyed putting it together and is very happy with the end result.
Dalmation Destruction!
After being impressed with the Monster Jam Megalodon (42134), I was really glad to be able to pick this up for review. As with all the other Monster Jam trucks, this is priced at 17.99 (rrp) and it offers fantastic value.
The resultant build itself is a good size once assembled and feels very sturdy. The core build has repeating elements with other Monster Jam trucks, which is expected. But each truck really does have it’s own unique ‘character’ and design. And this Dalmation truck is no exception. It looks fantastic when assembled (love the flappy ‘ears’, tongue and little ‘tail’). It’s a great way to introduce children to Lego technic as well and to understand different lego engineering techniques (especially when building a realistic underlying structure to the vehicle). My son is 5 and managed most of the build by himself and only needed help with some of the more fiddly smaller pins and stickers (he knows Dad likes these to go on perfect)! Once built, the pull back motor is an absolute treat, really allowing kids to bring the creation to life.
And just when you think it couldn’t get better, like a lot of small Lego Technic sets, this has instructions (note these are online) to rebuild the truck as a buggy! We haven’t tried to rebuild it yet, but this buggy build doesn’t look as great as the Monster Jam Dragon Truck one. Regardless, a lot of thought has gone into longevity by including this with an already excellent build. This is a great product line and I hope to see more!
Great truck from Lego
Instructions were very clear and was simple enough to follow
Excellent quality you’d expect from Lego. Once built the truck can be pulled back and it’s goes across the floor. Hard floors are better and smoothe
Exciting but takes time
This is a more complicated build with so many pieces but the end result was fantastic. I’ve not played with Lego that had a mechanism allowing for movement before. The completed car can be pulled backwards, in turn getting a motor ready and releasing the car to zoom off ahead!
The instructions are clear as can be expected with a Lego product. They were easy to read and follow. Since this set has a lot of pieces and is more complicated it might be better for more experienced builders or older kids. Otherwise it’s fantastic fun for any age and could even look good on display I think x

Another Big Hit From Lego
I recently ordered and built the new Lego Technic Bulldozer which was an absolute beast of a thing and some of the greatest fun I have had for a long while whilst building it, this small kit in contrast is much smaller and has been produced in a similar fashion but for children.
My grandson who is now approaching six years old loves Lego so I thought that this kit would be ideal for him. This set has been aged for years seven and over but I always believe that a lot of the skill level depends on the individual child and so long as it is safe then the parents will know best.
After giving this set to him, he tipped everything out of the box and without reading the instructions as he is still learning to read, lol he started to build the pieces together using the picture as a guide. After a short time I did have to stop him as there was a vital part that he had missed. With a little help from myself he had soon finished the build and we both had thoroughly enjoyed doing it.
The finished model is a fully working friction truck which will power forwards after drawing back on the wheels. Each piece of the kit is up to Legos usual demanding standard and the finished build looks great.
For my grandson and me, this is another winner from Lego and a superb way to entertain a child and build their skills.

This is a great Lego kit genuine Lego great item for a very reasonable price make an excellent present for lego fans easy to follow instructions kept my grandson busy good box full of contents two choices of vehicles to make powered by pull back action which is quite impressive nice size and its quite sturdy once built would definitely recommend
2 in 1 Monster Truck*
The Lego Technic Monster Jam set arrives boxed with all the pieces carefully organised in bags with precise and easy to follow instructions. This set is suitable for ages 7 and up which makes it perfect for my Lego obsessed Son.
I would say this is more of a smaller set compared to others we have although it will still take some amount of time to build.
The truck is pretty simple to build for kids going by the instructions however you may need to step in and help on occasion. I love that there are basically two models you can build with the one set, it technically means it can be taken apart and built again. Once built it can be “pulled back and go!” which is great fun.
This is a great Lego set for any kids that love cars. I would say it’s easy enough for a 7 year old to build and complete with some help if required.
Another great set from Lego and I feel like the price is actually really good value considering it’s basically 2-in-1
Brilliant and Possibly Wasted on Childre
I have to admit I had some reservations as to whether this was doable for a 7 year old, so I did the dutiful things and made most of the effort myself. As usual with Lego, everything is beautifully packed, and I am a stickler for using the instructions. I make sure all the pieces are tightly put together to maintain faithful construction, something sadly a 7 year old would struggle to do to the standard I can achieve. It is important therefore that you move children aside for the 30 minutes that you require to ensure you get the Monster truck made. Longevity is maintained with the two models in one feature, and it glides along beautifully, something I doubt would have happened left in the hands of a child.
Great toy for children after you have made it and road tested it for a suitable amount of time.

An excellent Lego kit at great value.
This is for 7 plus and our 7 year old could do this with minimal supervision.
I like being able to have the option of 2 variations of model to build and once built this pull back and go monster truck works great.
Fun to build, excellent pull-back motor, would have liked a few more features
This model truck is fun to build and is based on the Monster Mutt Dalmatian, a truck which competed in the US Hot Rod Association Monster Jam series. It is a fun build and has Lego’s usual high quality. The build is not difficult using the very clear instructions though care is needed especially early on as it is easy to get the position of a piece back to front and we had to backtrack a couple of times to fix things up.
Stickers liven up the vehicle and give it the Monster Mutt personality. The assembled truck is quite strong and the pull back friction motor is brilliant; the truck shoots across the room on its big wheels.
One reservation about the build is that it doesn’t do much other than go back and forth; nothing really opens or tilts other than a couple of flaps on the roof, making the play value perhaps a bit more limited. There is an alternate design using instructions you can download from the Lego site which will be fun to do sometime, so you do get two builds for the price of one which is nice.
