Put two favourite franchises together and you’re bound to end up making a lot of prole very happy.

With Lego’s usual quality and attention to detail, this set brings the world of Harry Potter to life and as well as the fun of the build, there’s ongoing play value in recreating battle scenes, Hogwarts life and altering the appearance of the castle. Instructions for this are a little vague, but that’s part of the fun – nothing can be “wrong”.

Things can get a bit wobbly, but that was ever so in my experience!

Our little one loved this set – it was reasonably easy to build especially with the instructions. Lots of wizarding fun to be had and 75 is quite reasonable for all this.

My daughter was very excited to build this set, which she did in a day. The instructions were nice and clear as you would expect and the finished piece has some nice details like the fireplace, clock, arched windows and spires. You get 6 mini figures, Harry and Voldemort are the main characters, but you don’t get Ron, Hermione, Hagrid etc, so I’d probably choose a set with more main characters in it if I was buying a first piece for a Harry Potter fan, or maybe consider buying two as this range can be combined to build more of Hogworts.

Omg this was an amazing set, my daughter loved it, as any harry potter fan would. She loved all the details and could connect it to the book. A challenging build but not too hard.

This is a great Harry Potter a Lego set which is perfect t for fans of Lego and Harry Potter.
The instructions are easy to follow and comprehensive. It is a decent build.
It is a fun build which looks great once built. It is the usual high standard of quality expected of Lego.
The price is reasonable for the quality.

I love Lego and Harry Potter and have a large hp lego collection so this was a great addition. The initial build was easy to follow and fun to make, the ‘power’ pieces for spell with the minifigures are a cool, fun way to personalise and change the build.
The instruction booklet shows alternate configurations and I wanted the bridge version. This was not easy to work out from the single picture and took some doing. The modular links were not very secure and did not make for a stable build. There were sections which looked odd as they didn’t have finishing/edging pieces. I really like this set overall but I do think for the price it could have had a better description of alternate builds/placement of links and extras for edges. Still this will join my collection and looks great. As a hp fan you probably won’t be that disappointed.

I recently got the LEGO Harry Potter The Battle of Hogwarts set for my daughter, who happens to be a huge Harry Potter fan. Let me start by saying that she absolutely loved it! As a parent, seeing her excitement and joy as she built and played with this set was priceless.

The set itself is incredibly detailed and captures the essence of the Battle of Hogwarts perfectly. It includes various iconic characters like Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Lord Voldemort, along with the Hogwarts castle and other elements from the final battle scene. The attention to detail is impressive, and the minifigures are spot-on representations of the characters.

The building process was enjoyable for my daughter, as the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The set also offers great playability, allowing her to recreate the epic battle and come up with her own imaginative scenarios.

My daughter loves Harry Potter and Lego, she already has a set from this particular collection and liked the design so I decided to surprise her with this one for her birthday. She was very happy with it and enjoyed putting it together.

With regard to quality, the design and details are lovely. However I feel that the overall structure is not very sturdy – it is certainly not sturdy enough for play, just display. We ended up swapping out bricks for alternatives that we have from already owned lego sets to improve the structural integrity. Only then was my daughter able to play with the set without parts constantly falling off.

As this set can be combined with other Harry Potter lego sets, we decided to try combine this with the other set my daughter has (the set with Sirius in the tower and Buckbeak). As the instructions only show how to disassemble the sets into sections for combining, and not how you can actually combine them, it was quite difficult and again structural integrity was compromised. In the end we ended up reassembling the sets separately.

This was a fun build with a lot of really cool minifigures. The instructions, of course, were impeccable, and the build was very satisfying, but a little repetitive.
This is a very playable set – designed to break up into ruins as the battle rages and then easily be rebuilt before starting again. There are some very cute details too.
The whole set is a lot of fun. Expensive though, compared to some other lego sets we have had recently – perhaps that is due the the ‘harry potter’ aspect off it.

    Lovely set of Lego.

Took just over an evening to build with my two kids.

Great detail being thought about on the creation of this set.

Price wise its very good value for the 730 pieces.

Must have for a harry potter fa

Another fantastic build from lego. All 730 pieces are present. I ordered this to add to my collection, I already have the Hogwarts room of requirement model. This coutyard battle model connects great with it. As do all the rest in the Harry Potter builds which I am hoping to collect. This is rather easy to build compared to the Room of requirement. My 6yr Grandson and Myself had it built in under 2 hours. It has 6 minifigurines including Harry and Voldemort, each have weapons. My favourite is Bellatrix Lestrange, she looks fabulous. We enjoyed our own reenactment of the Deathly Hallows battle which kept us entertained all afternoon. My grandson loves the special feature where it is breakable. So he can destruct and reconstruct for fun. To be honest we are great fans of lego in my house but I do think this model is rather expensive compared to the rest of the collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars One for the collection.

As a long-time fan of both LEGO and Harry Potter, I was thrilled to get my hands on the LEGO 76415 Harry Potter The Battle of Hogwarts set. This incredible castle toy not only captures the essence of one of the most memorable moments from the series but also offers an immersive building experience.

First and foremost, the minifigures included in this set are fantastic. The presence of iconic characters such as Molly Weasley, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Voldemort adds an extra layer of authenticity to the Battle of Hogwarts. The attention to detail in each minifigure’s design is remarkable, capturing their unique features and outfits accurately. The inclusion of the Sword of Gryffindor and the Deathly Hallows elements further enhances the playability and allows for imaginative recreations of pivotal scenes from the story.

The centerpiece of this set is, of course, the Hogwarts castle itself. The level of detail and intricacy in the construction is impressive. From the towering towers to the battlements and the great hall, the castle truly feels grand and majestic. Each section of the castle has been carefully designed, featuring iconic locations like the Room of Requirement, the Chamber of Secrets, and the Astronomy Tower. The building process is enjoyable and engaging, with clear instructions that make it easy to follow.

One of the highlights of this set is the play features. The various trapdoors, secret compartments, and moving parts allow for interactive storytelling. You can recreate thrilling duels between characters, have Molly Weasley take on Bellatrix Lestrange, or even stage the ultimate showdown between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. The possibilities are endless, and it provides hours of imaginative play for both children and adult fans.

Additionally, the set includes several smaller accessories, such as wands, potions, and magical artifacts, which add extra play value. These small details help bring the Battle of Hogwarts to life and make the building experience even more immersive.

As with any LEGO set, the quality and durability are excellent. The pieces fit together perfectly, and the final model feels sturdy and solid. The attention to detail extends to the interior of the castle as well, with small touches like the Great Hall’s tables and the Room of Requirement’s hidden items. It’s evident that the designers put a lot of thought into creating an accurate and visually appealing representation of Hogwarts.

Overall, the LEGO 76415 Harry Potter The Battle of Hogwarts set is a must-have for LEGO and Harry Potter enthusiasts alike. The combination of iconic minifigures, detailed castle construction, and interactive play features make it an exceptional addition to any collection. Whether you’re reliving your favorite scenes from the books and movies or creating new adventures, this set provides endless fun and an immersive building experience. Highly recommended for fans of all ages!

First and foremost, this is a lego set, which means you get the joy of building the scene of the epic battles from Harry Potter. The build itself takes around a couple of hours. As well as the castle, it’s possible to build the bridge that also features in the film.

The figurines are detailed to appear just as they do in the films, and the lego pieces allow for the special effects from the films to be re-enacted as well.

There is fun to be had in the final build, giving you the possibility to relive the scenes from the final Harry Potter film. Would recommend.

What’s not to love, it’s Harry Potter lego and includes Neville and Bellatrix! Genuine lego set, blocks have the lego logo. It took a good four hours for the kids to build and can be configured into different layouts, including the bridge. This set can be linked with other hogwarts sets in the series. This is a nice way to spread the cost and fun. Price appears to be comparitive to lego shop. The only issue now will be where to store it?! Would highly recommend for all harry potter and lego lovers!

More for the Harry Potter fans. A flexible castle build to add to other sets in the series.
With the duplication of characters from other sets, I switch body parts with City figures to create more pupils rather than several Harrys, etc.
Although dedicated to HP movie franchise, the castle can appear in other stories, being a building of gothic design, so crossover play is possible.
The grandkids love the building of the model then play value. I could be tempted to keep purely as a diorama and add some LEDs.
Do download the free e-manual from the Lego website, to avoid problems later on if a rebuild is called for and the supplied paper manual has gone astray. The bricks are almost indestructable, so that time will come. Plus, sometimes it is easier to refer to the digital manual as clearer pictures, than the paper manual.
    A big negative though:
Fragile when assembled. Pieces can fall off when moved. This is due to the lack of studs, for some unfamothable reason (unless it is to maximise production of pieces that fit more than one set). They are not exposed, as other bricks go over the top, but they only attach by a couple of studs rather than several.

My Nephew who is 11 absoloutely loves Lego, everything from the real lego building right through to the digital games. Harry Potter is also one of his favorite franchises. Equally i too love the films and Lego, so for me this Battle of Hogwarts castle was a no brainer! I make out it’s for the child, but secretly i love helping him build it!

This set is great fun, we haven’t finished it yet, but it’s coming together very nicely. Yes it’s pricey but it provides many hours of fun to both young and old. I also find it taxes the brain a little which is great your developing children.

    Love it – recommend it!
