I was toy car mad when I was a child. When you see a set of twenty toy cars for under a tenner, you have to see them. What can just 50p a car really buy nowadays.

The set arrives in a cellophane bag. First impressions? They’re not detailed in any way apart from simple printing on a car shaped former. However, the printing is done well. I’m not sure if they are really die-cast or even plastic, as hinted on the seller’s page. They feel like good old-fashioned tin.

The surprise with these cars is that they have a pullback engine fitted to each one. Simply place the car on a flat surface and drag the car backwards a couple of inches, and then let go. The car shoots off at quite a speed and distance. This makes them real fun to play with. Before long, I found myself building little obstacles for the cars to jump over.

Overall, they take me back to my childhood. I hope that helps.

5.0 out of 5 stars They take me back to my childhood.

This is a set of colourful and bright pull-back cars. They are die-cast and lightweight. I would suggest these are better for the older age range rather than the younger age as they could be a bit too lightweight for tough and rough playing.

The cars are pulled back and they zoom off across the short pile carpet well, no issues with these and if you are looking for something to pop into a party gift pack then these will do just the job. 50p per car at the time of writing makes them an economical purchase.

Happy to recommend these but they are not a strong sturdy toy car.

I recently purchased the LIXIUHUI 20 Piece Die Cast Metal Cars Toy City Racing Cars Toy Set for my son’s birthday, and he has been playing with them non-stop. The set includes 20 different die-cast metal cars, each with a unique design and color, providing him with plenty of options for imaginative play.
The cars are of high quality, with a robust metal construction, and durable wheels. The details on each car are intricately crafted, making them more realistic and visually appealing. They are the perfect size for little hands, making them easy to hold and manipulate.
The cars are also compatible with most standard race tracks, adding to the fun of the set. My son loves racing them and challenging his friends to epic races. The set is an excellent choice for both boys and girls, making it a perfect gift for any child.
Overall, I highly recommend the LIXIUHUI 20 Piece Die Cast Metal Cars Toy City Racing Cars Toy Set for anyone looking for a high-quality, visually appealing, and entertaining gift for their child. These are cheap and cheerful they are printed pressed steel and not die cast, maybe lost in the translation, they are good cheap toys that won’t break the bank and will give the kids hours of fun with and it doesn’t matter if they get broken or lost as there’s so many of them

Worths trying. They looks like die casting, feel like plastic, and actually a light-weight metal toy car. Proved by the magnet. Printing is fantastic. As these toy cars are light in weight, they run fast on the pull back trigger, and perfect size for kids from 3-year-old.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting…Proven it is metal

When I saw die cast I was expecting something similar to hotwheels or even the supermarket toys cars, this are smaller and very light weight but seem fine nonetheless. The under chassis is plastic but with metal wheel bar and rubber tyres.
The pull back function works well and is quite fast.
They seem good value at .50p each
