I throw this in my bag when I am out and about just in case I forget my electric pump or if it doesn’t work for some reason. However, there are many parts to this which makes it a hassle to take apart and clean.

I have used several different types of breast pumps and I like to keep a manual around for just in case occasions. I normally use a major branded “M” manual breast pump as it has been my favorite up until now. This design is almost the same so I figured I would replace my worn-out favorite with this one. For context, I have 8 kids that I have breastfed, so I have a lot of experience with different pumps. It didn’t feel like it was getting suction at first but once I took it apart and put the pieces together again it worked perfectly, so I guess something just wasn’t sitting right. I love it, it isn’t overly aggressive with suction, and you can pretty much control the whole process. If you are doing a “let down”, you just do quick half presses. When going to “regular” pump, you just press the handle all the way down as quick or as slow as what feels right to you. I really think this is going to be my new favorite.

I have an electric pump, but this manual one is a good one to have on hand. It was easy to put together and comes with a couple of breast milk bags. The bottom portion that collects milk has a bottle attachment. I took off one star because the connection felt a little flimsy and like it might not hold up if used daily. I would not use this as an everyday pump, but it works in a pinch!

We are big fans of this brand. We got their set of dummies and we love them so this was an easy choice. I got this for myself specially when I have clogged ducts. It is very easy to assemble and I love that it is a complete set plus the nipple for direct feeding. This has a very strong suction to help relieve clogged ducts and get that stubborn blew out right away. One thing I love the most about it is that the parts aren’t flimsy unlike the name brand. It’s easy to clean and sterilize. Would recommend highly!

This manual breast pump is great for those of you that an electric breast pump just doesn’t work well for. It’s great to have in back up situations to. It works well and is easy to use and put together. It’s also very easy to clean.

Got this for my wife to be used while traveling. We went on a 3 day long trip and returned home. I fully expected her to go back to her electronic pump, but to my surprise she continued using this manual pump. When I questioned her, she said the manual pump would pull out more milk faster allowing her to get back to her day. She appreciated the handle was able to move down or up and said overall use of the pump was quite easy. She did say that her hand would get a little tired, but she would rather have a slightly tired hand if it meant she could get back to her day or sleep at a faster pace.
Her only gripe was that the handle felt a little loose or flimsy and that she wishes it included a larger reservoir. The reservoir was easy to get around with a larger bottle. Yes this thing can fit right into a bottle which was a HUGE help.
Lastly she said cleaning was as easy as every other pump and the fact that there aren’t a lot of parts was a plus.
In her words 3.75 out of 5 stars, so I’ll round up to 4.

I think having a manual breast pump on hand is sometimes great for a back up. I noticed when I had trouble expressing milk with an electric pump that a manual pump really helped get milk flowing. This manual breast pump is very easy to use and works great at getting milk expressed. I like that this has everything you need including a few milk storage bag. The manual pump is certainly convenient also if you forget to charge your electric pump or lose electricity. This product is extremely reasonably at the current price of $19.99 and would make a great breastfeeding gift for any breastfeeding new mom. The pump is also very easy to go straight from pumping to changing out tops and feeding the baby.

Love Noobs Manual Breast Pump is very easy to use and clean, and works surprisingly well with minimal effort. I love that there’s no cords (or need for outlets), or batteries: it’s truly portable and can be used virtually anywhere.
It comes with a bottle that has bold and clear marking, so you know exactly how much you have. The bottle has a nipple so you can use the same bottle for feeding, and it comes with a cap and a sealing disk so you can take it on the go without worrying about spilling.
Also included were 3 milk storage bags – nothing fancy, but everything you’d expect: clear markings, strong “zipper”, writable space for important details, and they lie flat (if you need to freeze/stack them).
Overall, I think it’s a great value for something that’s simple, but works quite well.

    **UPDATE**
It works. You have to be sitting upright to use it. It’s not as powerful as an electric pump, obviously. It creates suction on a small scale. If you get in a rhythm, it can cause you to lose suctioning if it’s too fast.
The pump handle does feel a little flimsy, so be careful not to break it while pumping! It can kind of shimmy/slide while pumping and it feels breakable.
It does make noise, but nothing compared to my electric pump. Like I said, you just need to make sure you’re upright while pumping. I feed while laying during the night, so I will not use during the night.

Washed all the parts, all were accounted for.
We’re going on a road trip and I was super excited because this would make it easier.
Tried it out before our trip, of course.

The only reason for 4 stars is the bottle it comes with is a pain to pump directly into because the adapter you have to use but the plus side it dose fit Dr browns bottles well without that adapter I don’t care for the storage bags it came with either but the pump it’s self is good the handle is slightly bulky but the suction power makes up for all of tha

I think a manual pump is a must have for all new moms and this pump meets my expectations. It’s easy to take apart to clean and works as expected from a functional perspective. It’s also nice that you can just unscrew the bottle and screw on a nipple if you want to feed from the bottle. My only concern is that I can’t see anything indicating the size of the flange. I don’t have a great way to measure it, but if you order you may want to check and see if it looks similar to your normal flange size before you start using it.
