Lovely glasses and great service
Looking for wine glasses that were on the smaller side these were just what I was looking for. They look great and are of good quality, definite value for money.
Unfortunately one of the glasses had a slight crack in it when they arrived but the sellers service in dealing with this was excellent. I got a speedy response and a replacement glass couriered to me the next day as promised, just in time to use for my expected guests stay.
Just righ
We have just bought these for the second time after breaking a couple. They are a good size to hold a standard glass of wine (@150ml). They are a pleasant shape to drink from and comfortable to hold. I like the simple shape and the size of the stem.
Great shape & size
These feel quality. Lovely to drink from and look smart too. Even better they wash in dishwasher brilliantly. No dimple bottom to collect water, don’t take up much space and wash up like new each time.
Great shape
These are called red wine glasses, I would disagree with that as they are somewhat small for red wine, pretty good for white wine however. I do use them for red wine as I like the shape and am pleased with my purchase thanks.
Wine glasses
Very pleased with these glasses. They are quite small which is what I wanted. It’s a great way to cut down but still feel like you are getting a good glass of wine. Also very sturdy. Would recommend.
Good everyday wine glasses
I smashed a few of my previous ones from John Lewis – these are the same and a perfect replacement. Fantastic everyday wine glasses – nice quality and dishwasher friendly.
I Purchased by the same manufacturer/brand 12 stemmed ice tea glasses (19.15oz) and was so thrilled with the quality and aesthetics that I decided to purchase 12 of these 11oz wineglasses.
Packaging was great, they were so well packed you could probably take the box and throw it up against the wall and nothing would’ve broken LOL
The wineglasses themselves boast of being something called Sparkx….See the one picture from the side of the box. Everything listed there seems to be true when you actually receive the glass. The glass is very clear, it actually looks like Crystal and it has this silver-ish reflection. These are my every day glasses and they seem to be holding up great.
My only reservation is that the base of the wine glass (not stemmed iced tea) seems to be on the smaller side and I’m concerned they might be top-heavy and tip over once the wind starts flowing. I’ll give an update in six months to see how they’re faring And if there were any casualties from the smaller vase or anything else unforeseen.
I’m sure these are going to work out just great even with the smaller base as the really seem very solid but delicate if that makes any sense whatsoever.
The description says there are 8 inches tall and I found that they were 8 1/16″ tall which doesn’t sound like a big deal but they just barely clear and fit into the shelf that I needed them so I thought I would mention that.
Don't burden yourself with expensive crystal. It's fragile, expensive to replace, doesn't go in the dishwasher, and you end up using it only for display. Don't buy cheap glasses that are also fragile and can't be replaced at all because the manufacture isn't known or isn't around anymore. Instead, these glasses are fairly strong (strong enough to go in the dishwasher but not indestructible of course), reasonably priced, and the brand and style will be around in future if you need to expand your collection or replace the occasional breakage.

a good price for a good product.
These were bought as a present and were well received. They feel robust not flimsy and have a pleasant weight to them. I liked the elegant shape and size – although you need to remember sherry comes in small measures! They are glass not crystal and they have a glass feel but excellent for regular use.

It's clearly labeled that each glass holds 16.5 fluid ounces.... That's an entire can of beverage and more these elegant ladies can hold! A great buy to minimize trips back to the kitchen, but be aware they are 9" tall and can make a bold presence on your table. Drink up!

I love my Bormioli Michaelangelo crystal. It is strong and elegant, yet inexpensive enough to use every day. I have my Reidel when I want to feel fancy, and my Biormioli for every day. I have many pieces od the Michaelangelo series, and it is great to be able to have real crystal you can use every day.

After going through a week of destroying our wine glasses in stupid ways (knock off table, hit cabinet with glass, drop in sink) well you get the idea. (No, we were not drunk when we did the destruction, welllll, maybe a little high?) I decided to get some sturdy glasses. I have several sets of Bormioli (juice, water, old fashioned) and found them to be almost unbreakable and they do not turn milky from the dishwasher. So, figured can I go wrong with the wine glasses? And the answer is NO, they are great to drink from and when you “toast” they make a nice tinkle sound. The rim of the glass is perfect, they feel good in your hand (not heavy at all) and the stem is easy to hold. I guess you can say I’m hooked on Luigi Bormioli.
I highly recommend Bormioli, a quality item with an acquirable price.
I love the design of these glasses and if you don’t, then my review won’t be helpful for you. I have 2 sizes of wine glasses, flutes, shot glasses and tumblers. I have added to them over the years because I love the shape, especially the way the bowl graduates into the stem, and because I can easily replace them – Habitiat, John Lewis etc and now Amazon. The glass is clear and sharp in appearance and I like the cut rims
This is the reason for 4 stars not 5 is that I have to throw them out occasionally due to dishwasher damage. I have just had a new dishwasher and will be interested to see if this still happens – the old one was rubbish! If they stand up to the new dishwasher, I will upgrade my review due to the fault being the dishwasher not the glasses. So far things bode well – I have successfully washed the flutes in the dishwasher and the results were perfect – I always hand washed them before.
