It’s a proper yoyo – rather than a child toy.
it’s quite tricky to set up – make sure you read the (confusing) instructions properly
once you have it wound you can practise your skills and it is so well made it lasts

This yoyo is able to sleep which is what you want if you want to start doing tricks. I had a professional yoyo before and though this does not come close, its a great beginner yoyo if you just want to try a new hobby. The case is compact and can fit all the extra pieces inside if you so please. Its a decent quality as well.
Very happy with this yoyo. Having done the research before buying it is fantastic that they offer one which can be set to either be responsive or non responsive. Which makes it distinct from a cheaper yo-yo which is just intended as a gimmick toy, this one on the other hand can be used skilfully and to perform various tricks. Young relative occasionally had a shot of it too and loves it. Great to get them away from the screen too and who knows maybe they have found a hobby they like!
I was really into yoyoing in my early teens, so I have a bit of background in knowing what makes a good yoyo.
This yoyo starter kit is great for people just starting out, as it has the ability to sleep (stay down after being thrown) due to the bearing system, it has a butterly-wing design allowing it to be used effectively for string-tricks, and has spare strings in case any get overly-tangled/worn out.
The yoyo itself looks great, and having both a carry case and spare strings of various colours is a very nice benefit.
For the price, it’s a great choice for beginners.
The only downsides are:-
– The instructional booklet is slightly unclear, especially the section that tries to explain a sample trick.
– The sleep time isn’t the best due to the bearings being fairly standard, so if you were looking to do more advanced tricks, you’d likely have to upgrade to another yoyo.
Overall, it’s an impressive yoyo that would enable someone looking at getting into yoyoing to practice getting used to general handling and tricks. 4- stars.
My son plays with it every day. Learned a lot of tricks from the internet. Walk the dog, around the world and others whose names I don’t even remember. Good quality plastic and bearings. Comes with multiple strings of different colors.
Firstly it comes with 12 strings, extra bearing for unresponsive play, tools for replacing bearing and really nice and stiff travel case that will make sure you won’t damage your YoYo.
YoYo it self is made to last with hard plastic and it is not hollow like some entry level YoYos. It looks like professional YoYoers use to do magnificent tricks. Obviously if you throw it around and hit your walls and floor it will crack and break however, I hit it few times and there wasn’t any sign of damage. Strings look strong and 12 of them for normal player will last forever. Bearing itself is big and I tried to replace it with unresponsive one but I had no idea how to do it. It is probably easier than I think it is but my skills are not that great to use unresponsive bearing anyway.
Overall this is fantastic YoYo with good amount of accessories needed to start your YoYo journey and go beyond that into a pro area. It definitely is worth paying a little bit more for this YoYo rather than cheap entry level ones.
I am impressed that this yoyo comes with its own hard shell storage bag. Set up was nothing different from other yoyo I have. I found this to be quite stable on the string and responds well. Made of quality plastic and metal, should last long.
My partner really likes the fact that you get extra bearings for different skill sets and tricks, he said its a top product, very good for beginners and very well made, all I can say is the tricks I see him do with it are amazing to watch so we highly recommend this item to anyone thinking of getting one
My son was super happy to open this on his birthday. Only thing was it doesn’t come with instructions how to attach the strings, had to watch a YouTube video
This yoyo set comes with the yoyo itself with everything needed to assemble it, an unresponsive yoyo bearing, a bearing remover, an axle tool, long axle case and twelve strings.
All the instructions on how to use it, how to assemble and how to do tricks are given, which is very helpful for a beginner.
The yoyo is plastic but a good quality one, beautifully designed in a butterfly shape, coloured amazingly.
The case is good quality, good to have somewhere to store it more organised. Zip works well.
I recommend this yoyo kit, works properly, value for money.
Firstly sorry for the state of my trousers, I have been digging a hole so they are my ragtag work trousers. Anyway, I have not used a Yoyo for many years and the ones I had as a kid were no where near this sort of quality. I could still manage to do a few tricks in the day but now need some serious practice. At least I managed to get it to rest at the bottom, not bad for the first go in decades. I have not even thought about converting the Yoyo to being the unresponsive type yet, that will be another day when I have improved quite a bit. A Yoyo is very therapeutic as it demands your attention, it is also rewarding when you actually manage to successfully complete a trick. The Yoyo has a great zip storage case that also contains a selection of string colours as well as the bearing and tools to convert the Yoyo from responsive to unresponsive and back again. OK, back to digging the hole then loads more practice with my Yoyo.
