These are the best quality padlocks i could find , and they are the best . anti bolt cutter padlock , the door would come away before one on these padlocks would break .

Needed a sturdy lock for my garage door. It’s perfect for me, with the added bonus of the lock needs to be ‘locked’ before you can remove the key. No more wondering if you’ve remembered to lock up or not….if the key is in your hand/pocket then the lock is locked! I have a memory like a sieve!

I have only received this item today but seems good quality for the price. Heavier than I thought it would be, have now put on gate so will soon test the weatherproofness. Keys seem thin for the weight of the lock but if they work that’s ok. You do get 4 keys. I like the way the lock retracts into the casing and isn’t a separate piece like my last really expensive lock which cost three times this one and lasted two years. Took a lot of effort getting the lock of the OTT packaging though, which was really not required. I’m also not sure what a limited lifetime warranty means! Even though I went on their website to check, so disregard the lifetime warranty as the clauses seemed a bit confusing. Over all I’m happy as it was the cheapest lock but wasn’t the most expensive.

Had this padlock for 6 months now. It’s waterproof and works currently but it is starting to rust quite heavily so I suspect once it gets to a certain point it’ll affect operation. If purchasing again, I’d not purchase this again and go with something which is better quality. The keys are quite thin and flimsy too so could imagine they are easy to snap.

Bought to fit the pull up security post. However you need to cut back the rubber sleeve to allow it to fit inside. Be aware if bought to go with it.
Seems sturdy and certainly well designed to put off a potential theft.

They do a great job and look smart however I’m a little concerned regarding the longevity, as I can foresee, even with regular oiling, the mechanism will get scratchy and bind if left out in the rain and cold… I would assume this wouldn’t be an issue for internal usage etc.

I bought this as a replacement for an old lock on our back gate, I have others on the sheds, they work just fine, they seem strong enough, that’s all I need.

I felt it was finished poorly but it is what it is and would be very hard to break ir cut through. It is not a pretty dress it is a strong padlock and that is exactly what it is. I would buy again and it will do the job.
Word of warning. The diameter of the bolt is large as far as padlocks go. Ensure it is not too big.

Had some issues where other padlocks were too wide for the bolt we have on our shed, so you could open it even with the padlock on. These got around that perfectly due to the small opening, preventing the issue entirely.

Sturdy lock, due to the rounded shape there is less anchorage to be able to pry it open, and the key hole has a little cover to help keep water out.

If you are looking for military grade security then this is not for you but to secure a garden shed then they are great. like that you use the same key for both and they have a weather proof cover over the key slot. I oiled mine as soon as I got them and this helped make them easier to open / close. good value for money

Seems like a decent padlock for the money.

Its been on the shed a month with little rain and there is the start of rust on the hasp but the way the action works im hoping even when rusty it won’t make too much of a difference.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThis is a good lock to practice picking. Not hard to pick and way quick to zip and rake open. This is 8/10 security rating? Please, Master-lock I would rate this a 4. Yes you have bolt cropper protection but security is only as strong as the weakest link and yours are always always the key mechanism. Not even a whiff of a single security pin. That is pretty bad.

That being said, it is a nice lock, looks secure, keeps dust and bits out of the mechanism. However if you want TRUE security, spend far far more money on an Abloy PL330 from an authorised seller.

These padlocks certainly look robust and I’m using one of them on an old shed on my allotment, where it’s only intended to be a deterrent rather than something to stop a determined thief. On one of the locks, the shackle flops about so much that, when closing it, it fouls on the stainless steel case and has to be guided into place. Also, the case seems a bit on the thin side, leaving me with the impression that a few whacks with a sturdy hammer might distort it sufficiently to open the lock – but this doesn’t matter to me as there’s a good chance that the door of my shed would give way first.

We bought these as my wife has arthritis and finds the standard shackle type a bit hard to lock. On arrival the locks were quite stiff and key slot felt rough and catchy. I used some graphite lock lube and worked the key several times to loosen them up and now they are fine.
On the whole a really good and definitely very strong lock, but not quite the quality of finish I had expected, although I feel sure they will last a very long time.
