Great quality and durable hand puppets. My toddler fell in love with “monkey” and he is her favourite lovey now, although we adore the other three too. Wash beautifully. May have to buy another set as toddler has meltdown if monkey goes MIA. Wish these were sold as individual animals.
These are lovely little hand puppets and have been great for imaginative play and story telling. The characters are all lovely and very vibrant in their colours. I did have to patch up the dragon after only a few plays so they’re not as durable as I’d hope, but it was an easy fix. Still a lovely set.
Lovely puppets. Daughter not shown any interest though. The stuffing in the head is annoying as an adult, but myself and tennage kids found it annoying, but for 3 yr olds hands it helps give them a better appearance I suppose
Bought for my daughters first birthday and she loves them. Me, her dad and our 7 year old daughter play with them together and put on little shows for her. So soft and feel and look well made!
These puppets look good quality in the packaging. Unfortunately untill they are used on Christmas day I can’t say for sure if they are value for money. Certainly just what I was looking for as a present for a toddle
My little one loves these hand puppets. They are so cute and can be used for so many activities.
The only negative is probably the fact that they can be a little bit tight on the hands (I have small hands).
The animals are cute and well made but way too small for an adult hand to fit comfortably in them. I have rather small hands and can just fit my hand and my husband can’t get his hands in at all. We had hoped to play with them with our six month old baby but they’ll have to wait until she’s old enough to use them herself.
Lovely toys, puppets perfect as a crimbo pres!
Unfortunately first delivery only had 3 puppets in & one was missing.
However, when I advised them, they sent out a replacement immediately – which had all 4 puppets in.
& the returns postage for the 3 puppets was free, so very little kerfuffle to sort it ou
These little puppets are perfect for little hands. We have others of bigger size I use to perform theatre for my son and he is so deligthed when I gave him the Zoo friends, so he can do the same as mum. They are easy to manage for a kid size hand, there are also light in weight and simple (their mouth do not move), so children know straight away how to use them. They are really cute and soft. My son likes when I cuddle them against his cheeks (although they are a bit small for my hand).
I bought these for my daughter’s first birthday. I had previously purchased her some puppets from Poundland, which she absolutely loved. I was worried she wouldn’t like these as much, since I had purchased her a puppet from Wilko previously and she hates that thing.
But, alas, she loves these puppets as much as her beloved Poundland ones. They have plush faces and simple fabric bodies. I think this is what my daughter likes about them. They are cuddly enough for her to smoosh into her face, yet the bodies are tactile enough for her small hands to grasp and carry around whilst she’s crawling through the house.
When she first opened her birthday gift, she tried to get all four puppets in her hands and crawl out of the room. A week on, they are still her favourite gift from her birthday.
We’ll definitely be buying the other varieties, and – if her loves of puppets continues – I can see us buying the puppet theatre in due course.
These are washable at 30 degrees.
The age range says 2+ but I see no reason why they’re not suitable for younger toddlers. I assume this age range is a recommendation based on when a child might be dexterous enough to actually play with them as puppets. For the time being, though, my child is just content to cuddle them and enjoys watching me play with them as puppets.
