Great light - seems to need little charging.
Used for inside a garden shed. Doesn’t tend to come on until really quite dark so not much use at dusk but really bright when it does come on and doesn’t need much charge to work – even grey days supply enough.
Solar garden ligh
This is absolutely amazing it brightens my whole garden which is huge. I would 100% recommend these if you have a driveway large garden area it has a long wire which makes it very easy to place
Just as described
Exactly what I wanted. Easy to set up, and works well so far. Bright enough, but only over my side door which is not a large area, but it’s just what I wanted.
Bright , lightweight and easy
This light was very easy to put up , it’s very light so I didn’t expect much from it but it is very bright even lights up when my neighbour walks down his garden path so the range.is very good. Very impressed with it and half.the price of the last one I ordered , I will be replacing my other battery operated one as well.
Amazing ligh
This is such a great item in every aspect, easy to fit, sensor is good, light it gives off is incredible worth every penny. So good I already purchased second !
Superb
Wanted a light in our ‘summer kitchen’ area but did not want to go to the bother of running the electric feeds.
As the area has a roof structure normal solar was not a serious option then saw this item with split light/solar.
It works a treat and how nice that the interconnecting cable is long.
Very bright light and so easy to install (Screw driver only to fix the two units to the timber frames)
Cracking little solar powered ligh
Initial thoughts are that it is a cracking little solar light. Time will tell it’s longevity but east to install and does what it says on the tin. Getting another one after this review
Quality lights
Bought these to go down the side of my house and didn’t fancy a mains powered light as disnt want to electrocute myself 🙂 These are so simple to install and set up, it took maybe 5 minutes with a drill. Decent size solar panel, so far hasn’t let me down. Lights are pretty bright, as soon as get 5 to 10 metres away from.the lights they switch on and I can see everything. No more walking in the dark down the side of my house. Great value for money, easy to use and set up. Thumbs up from me.
Xcellent solar light. Easy to fit and great ligh
Nice long cable from light to solar panel. Easy to fit and nice and bright at night. Very useful. Have one inside the garage so i dont have to find the awkward lightswitch anymore.
Terrific wee solar ligh
Delivered within 36 hours. I’ve always been sceptical about these types of solar lights but this one is terrific. The sensor is extremely sensitive and the solar panel appears to charge even on dull days when there is no sun. It comes on for about 30 seconds after dark which in most circumstances is enough time to get your key in the door or scare off intruders. Great value, lets hope it lasts.
I found this light to be very easy to install, and it was a good value for the price. The solar panel seems to be working okay, but the light itself isn’t as bright as I would have liked. It would be perfect if it were a little bit brighter.
But overall, I’m happy with the MPJ 106 LED Solar Light Outdoor with Motion Sensor. It’s simple, does the job, and is good enough for the price.
I would recommend this light to anyone who is looking for an affordable and easy-to-install solar light for their outdoor spaces. Just keep in mind that it’s not the brightest light on the market.
Working well.
Used over entrance to garden cabin. Good spread of light. Neat looking. Good cable length to solar panel. The panel doesn’t get full sun. Only points to bright sky. Still charges well.
Really brigh
Easy to install very bright lights saves my electricity aswell.100%recomend these lights. However I BOUGHT 4 and as my garden has just been finished and kept one back till my fence got put up,I’ve put the fourth light up and it doesn’t work I’ve tried to ask for a replacement but it says my last day was 5th August 2023. This is a shame as I would have definitely ordered more.
Excellent bright directional light for outdoor areas.
I have installed two of these for a friend and she was so impressed that I have now installed one for myself. it works really well giving a broad spread of bright light to the entire driveway. working well for 3 months so far.
The lights is powerful
I would highly recommend this product as that I’ve installed it for my brother who is disabled and needs a spotlight for the garden to move around in his wheelchair clear at night.
Doss what I need them to do.
I originally bought one of these to light up my enclosed in patio area as the previous light had to be turned o /off and I would forget and the battery would run out. I was impressed with it and have also bought more to put along my patio canopy. Idea for when I let my dogs out in to the garden at a night time.
Excellent piece of equipme
We are using this light to illuminate our garden path in front of the door. The solar charger works well and the light gives a bright light when someone walks to the door. Then after a limited time it goes off.
So far it has worked well. Time will tell how long it lasts.
I bought this hoping to use the light inside my shed with the solar panel on the outside.
Sadly the light only comes on once the panel on the outside doesn’t sense any light so even in dusk it doesn’t light up the inside of my shed.
Will have to try something else. 🙁
Going strong
First installed in July and everything worked well, now in November it stopped working for a few days, (probably due to a few dull days) but up and going strong again. Good light.
This is very bright and a very white ( maybe 6000K ) light. Nice long cable to solar panel and the fixings are strong. Both the lamp and solar panel been outside in all the heavy rain we have had recently and still working fine, so seem waterproof. I installed this to cover a dark spot for our Eufy CCTV cameras ( which if enough external light will change from infra-red to colour at night as they have a low light sony starvis chip ) , but because the light is so white and bright it washes out the faces of anyone in the frame, so may have to change it for a less ‘white’ lamp, maybe less than 4000K. If you are thinking of installing the lamp in a shed etc remember that the light sensor is on the solar panel and not the lamp, so unless it is dark where solar panel is installed the light will not trigger., there are lamps available with light sensor on the lamp head – just check the spec and the answered question / reviews.
My old solar twin spot-lamps gave up the ghost last week after many years of service, one lamp lit up my back door and the second was angled to show my side entry where I keep my wheelie bins. It’s very dark in autumn and winter, hence the need for outdoor lighting. I couldn’t find any like for like solar dual spot-lamps, so decided to take a gamble on this curved design. First thing I noticed when taking it out of the box was how well constructed it is. The second thing is that the solar panel was only half the size of the unit it replaces but a lot more modern looking, and the light itself is a decent size. The whole unit took less than 10 minutes to install. I let it charge from the days sunlight and waited for the Sun to go down so I could try it. I’d angled the curve in such a way that I hoped it would light up my back door area and the side passage. When it got dark I went outside WOW !!! the light is as intense as a car headlight, and the curved shape lit up everything and more that I had gambled on it doing, the whole of my patio and the side passage all lit up as though a car was parked in the back garden with its headlights on ! This is an impressive piece of kit. Footnote as of 17 Nov 2022: now that we are getting less sunlight hours, I half expected the Solar charged batteries in the unit to perform less well – that has definitely NOT been the case at all. The light has remained as bright whenever it has been on demand during the night, even on dull days. I have angled the solar panel to catch as much sunlight as possible facing south, low in the autumn sky. The solar panel will swivel up or down, so worth adjusting it as the Sun sinks lower through the Autumn and Winter.
