Excellent quality
Really well made, great value, long battery life,. I purchased it for de gassing wine as I needed a clean unit.
I’m sure it’s perfect for most jobs in the house. Charges quickly.
Reasonable price.
I read all the reviews and agree with all of them, all good, no faults found. Not used it long enough to rate battery usage. I checked in my local supermarket and they had a cordless drill for about 25, BUT, without battery or charger!!!! Battery about 20 and the charger about 12 making it rather expensive!!
No problems so fa
Its been used to take a big bed apart and build a few little wooden things, the drill bits arnt the best but they did the job. Had no problems so far, for the price its a good tool to have.
Impressed
Really decent drill and impressed with the full on abuse it takes day in day out, Im a mechanic so it’s not used all day though it is used every day.
I’ve only had it a week but so far the drill itself has been brilliant, easy to use and charge – but the supplied drill bits are cheap and broke on the first literal use – on soft wood. I’ve since bought a proper set of drill / screw bits which have worked superbly with it. The twist lock chuck is so easy to use and the drill isn’t too heavy to hold for longer periods of use. Shoddy drill bits aside, so far so good!
It should really be advertised as a screwdriver rather than a drill but even for a screwdriver the price is good, battery lasts and it has enough power for very basic drilling with bits bought seperately, metal and brick would be a struggle/impossible.
The drill bits supplied are useless, flimsy chinesium and will instantly bend and warp drilling through a sheet of bog roll.
For the price this drill is great. This drill will deliver results; if you’re looking for a drill to use around the house, this will do! Quite powerful and comes with good drill bits. This is not the heavy duty drill that will support construction work. However, if you want to put up shelves, TV’s etc this will work well.
A decent small drill on a budget.
I bought this to replace a previous model whose motor I had overloaded. I bought the same model again as I figured that the battery would be the same and there would thus be a spare. Unfortunately, no. There are quite a few changes. The basic drill remains the same, and for the usual amateur household chores, it remains perfectly adequate. I would not expect too much out of the motor as my previous drill will testify. Within its limits, it is good value and cheap as chips. I just wish the battery had been a fit for the old one. Ah well …
Handy to have and use
I’m liking this compact drill a lot. Performance is really good and seems well made. I use it as a back up to my main beast which has more power. I did a refurb on an old shed and post storm fencing repairs that required a lot of drilling and screwing which made me glad to have this. I’ve tried it in wood and 4mm flat steel bar. Wood is no problem and it got through the steel but I wouldn’t recommend it for the heavier use. Handy too for the spaces I’d struggled to get my bigger drill into which is another reason I’m glad I bought i
A good drill to have in store for odd jobs. It aint gonna be use for the likes of construction, but its lightweight, reliable and a solid repertoire to any toolbelt. Decent enough for the price (although, if youre patient and shop around for bargains, you can sometimes get better drills for similar prices).
Excellent produc
I’ve used this drill/driver for many jobs putting up my solar panels erecting my fence panel ect and the product worked 99% well. I needed to drill some holes too it did this but I fo not think it could do anything apart from wood Due to its powe
Brilliant drill
I purchased this drill as my Makita drill broke when I was in the middle of a project. I purchased this drill due to the low cost and next day delivery. I wasn’t sure if it would be any good, but I was just hoping it would get me through the project until I could get my Makita drill fixed. This drill has been great, long battery life (I haven’t had to recharge it yet) and is lightweight and so easy to useI will using this drill more then my old one I think as it is easier to hold and downs thirst my wrist due to how light it is
Worth the money
Great for DIY around the house, I have used it to drill into masonry walls and it just about done the job(thought it might not make it but did)
Love the charging of the drill, slide battery off and directly plug charger in rather than a charger dock.
Well worth the money for small jobs…. but if you need to do more heavy duty intensive jobs you need to spend more on a heavy duty drill.
I would recommend this for small home improvements, just make sure to order good drill bits to go with it.
I bought this because I needed a drill for some DIY nonsense inside my salon. It’s great for a novice and I’ve really not had many issues, I think if you were using it constantly you might run into some problems but for someone that needs it for infrequent use it’s been great. Although one of the drill bits I had did snap inside my wall. Not ideal.
This is my first ever drill. So far I’m very impressed. It was a really solid feel. I like the weight of it but I have no other drill to compare it to.
I first charged the battery as directed. It didn’t take long as at. Since then I’ve used it to assemble furniture after moving. It makes everything so much easier. After a few tables and chairs and dressers etc the battery is still going strong.
I haven’t tried using it to drill holes yet but it definitely has power behind it if needed.
The bits you get with it are good. Luckily I had a ratchet screwdriver set which has the same attachments so I could use the drill with an allen key attachment.
Overall I’m very impressed. It’s very straight forward to use, had most attachments you would want starting out, great battery life and a good amount of power behind it.
As a part time DIY-er (ok once in a blue moon DIY-erI wasn’t sure if this drill would do what I wanted, but was desperate to get holes in some plant pots I’d bought and put some clips in a fence to hold some trellis up I bought it. It’s a fab little drill. Once I’d mastered the torque setting that is. Comes with drill bits and screwdriver bits. Not too heavy and it’s well balanced. Came well packaged. I’d recommend this drill. Not sure it would stand up to being used as you would a regular mains powered drill, although the battery life is excellent, but I didn’t want to use it like that, it’ll live happily in the gadget cupboard along with the electric pie maker and waffle machine, toasted sandwich maker and something I’m not quite sure what it’s for, until I need to use it again. Would recommend it. The drill not the mystery gadget!
Reliable, good battery, not enough torque
I use this for little things around the house like my door hinges and bookshelf screws.
I never owned one before so comparing it for me is impossible but what I can say is that it does the trick however it isn’t the strong torque so after the screw is fully in I like to tighten a tiny bit more with a screwdriver. For me it does what I intended for it to do and it made building my new pc chair a breeze. I wish there was a button to keep the light on and not only when the button is pressed because its tricky to get to the screw in the dark and after finding it having light isn’t really that important.
I find the battery life to be good. Im someone who always tops mine up after use to I never ran out yet but I’ve used it for multiple jobs at once and it held up superb.
