Really well made, great value, long battery life,. I purchased it for de gassing wine as I needed a clean unit.
I’m sure it’s perfect for most jobs in the house. Charges quickly.
I read all the reviews and agree with all of them, all good, no faults found. Not used it long enough to rate battery usage. I checked in my local supermarket and they had a cordless drill for about 25, BUT, without battery or charger!!!! Battery about 20 and the charger about 12 making it rather expensive!!
Its been used to take a big bed apart and build a few little wooden things, the drill bits arnt the best but they did the job. Had no problems so far, for the price its a good tool to have.
Really decent drill and impressed with the full on abuse it takes day in day out, Im a mechanic so it’s not used all day though it is used every day.
I’ve only had it a week but so far the drill itself has been brilliant, easy to use and charge – but the supplied drill bits are cheap and broke on the first literal use – on soft wood. I’ve since bought a proper set of drill / screw bits which have worked superbly with it. The twist lock chuck is so easy to use and the drill isn’t too heavy to hold for longer periods of use. Shoddy drill bits aside, so far so good!
It should really be advertised as a screwdriver rather than a drill but even for a screwdriver the price is good, battery lasts and it has enough power for very basic drilling with bits bought seperately, metal and brick would be a struggle/impossible.
The drill bits supplied are useless, flimsy chinesium and will instantly bend and warp drilling through a sheet of bog roll.
I bought this to replace a previous model whose motor I had overloaded. I bought the same model again as I figured that the battery would be the same and there would thus be a spare. Unfortunately, no. There are quite a few changes. The basic drill remains the same, and for the usual amateur household chores, it remains perfectly adequate. I would not expect too much out of the motor as my previous drill will testify. Within its limits, it is good value and cheap as chips. I just wish the battery had been a fit for the old one. Ah well …
A good drill to have in store for odd jobs. It aint gonna be use for the likes of construction, but its lightweight, reliable and a solid repertoire to any toolbelt. Decent enough for the price (although, if youre patient and shop around for bargains, you can sometimes get better drills for similar prices).
