Not a great deal to say so far as the battery has only been installed a week or so. Bought it to replace another which died within a year – Amazon sorted that – so I hope this is a better option, although the battery is visibly identical to the failing one [so it should be).

Seller communication was great – as I didn’t have the original OEM battery, checking compatibility was an issue. Although the seller couldn’t help directly, they responded quickly and positively. I searched the HP website, I eventually found the battery number which confirmed compatability

Have bought cheaper battery’s that have only partially charged and lasted just a few hours before having to recharge. This battery charged to 100%, and lasts more than 24 hours. So glad I paid just a few ‘s more for a far more reliable battery that lasts longer and recharges at a fraction of the time, saving electricity. A win, win.

Although the battery arrived completely flat, it was quick to charge and I was able for the first time in a long long time to work on my laptop for several hours without using the power lead. As per the instructions as soon as it drained to 20% I plugged in the lead removing again once fully charged. very pleased with this battery.

Excellent product and service. It would have been helpful to have had some information on installing new batteries of this type. It took several attempts to get the laptop to charge the battery up. As I’m familiar with with these problems, I persevered! I think maybe someone else might have returned it as a faulty product?

It’s still a little loose but I think that’s more a manufacturing of the laptop issue than the battery itself.

That however would be my only gripe. It lasts as long as you’d expect, charges as quick as you’d expect and came in a well protected box for transit.

Easy to install , roughly get 6-10 hrs or battery life after full charge just depends on type of use I guess. When typing away got close to 10 hrs when watching and editing videos roughly 6 hrs

Nothing really to complain about but battery life when not charging is perhaps less than expected, around 90 minutes. That said it’s in a 17 inch laptop so perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised. Otherwise all good.
