As other reviewers have stated, you may need to make some alterations so that your spit lines up. Drill a hole here, move a bracket there! However the result is excellent, powerful and almost silent.
Fitted this to my Argos barrel BBQ – had to bolt the original BBQ bracket to the side of the BBQ to ensure stability, but other than that it fitted well. I’ve done a whole chicken of about 1.5kg and separately a load of chicken pieces weighing around 3kg and it’s managed nicely even though the load was unbalanced! Very nice!
Not used in anger yet,but seems like a good quality item. Fitted straight on to exiting bracket and spit rod fitted fine as everything lined up. Tried the motor and it is very quiet. Actually feels and looks like a better quality motor than the original.
Motor is very solidly built and looks like it would last a long time. Have used it to cook a whole chicken, wings and fries with the onlyfire basket and a 3kg chicken doner – all with no issues and turned out grea
This is a great rotisserie motor….VERY quiet…. it’s also powerful enough to deal with a 3kg chicken.
I Also changed the cable, making it longer to suit my location. I suggest adding a balance weight to your rotisserie bar. I thought that was a good step to assist my setup

This replaced a battery-operated unit.
The electric unit is virtually silent when running – compared to the previous battery version, I had to look at the drive housing to see if it was actually on!!
Used it for cooking chicken on a gas BBQ. Beautiful result.
Would recommend this for anybody who enjoys rotisserie cooking on a their BBQ!
