Great value for a quality spanner. Jaws open wide and are nice and slim. Nice handle and feels like a higher end spec spanner than other cheap items. Highly recommended.

I love this tool brand, so i guess im bias, colour (cos i put tools down and cant find them again), they are well made (you need this for tools), price (well i guess you get what you pay for)

For the price these are good buys. I ended up buying two of these,I had mixed results with these though, the first one I bought was excellent ( bahco quality,I have a 9029 to compare to) I was impressed so I bought another one ,the quality of the second one was not as good ,the jaws did not meet together flush. Maybe I’m too picky,Still a great buy for the money though

Picked this up in a flash sale. Very well made and doesn’t work loose like most do. Only downside is the handle is a bit on the short side. I’d definitely buy again and consider OX tools whenever I’m on the hunt for something.

I’m a plumber and my tools have quite a hard life. These adjustables are brilliant. Very well made, easy to use, and seem to last well. Would definitely buy again if i lost them under a floor!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m a HVAC engineer and I use this tool daily. It has been holding up well and the wide jaws make this quite versatile.
I brought this to replace my dumpy Rothenberger adjustable spanner. There is just a tad more stretch with these spanner’s but they work well.

    Pros:
    * Wide and narrow jaws make this very versatile.
    * Low stretch in most instances.
    * I like the colour as they’re quite visible, which is a big plus if your hunting around for your tools.
    * Rubberised but sturdy grip is quite thick but fits nicely.
    * Smooth adjustment even after punishment.
    * Good value.

    Cons:
None to note but I’ll update if any arise.

    Summary:
Good solid spanner’s. I’d say they’re on par with the (new version) dumpy Rothenbergers (larger Rothenbergers of the newer ilk are pants FYI).
I’d recommend these to anyone looking for a solid, good value spanner.

Adjustable spanners tend to have wide jaws which can be prohibiting in tight locations or with smaller nuts, but these have narrow jaws but still with a wide span for larger nuts. Well engineered so I’ve ordered a second larger set as these are the best I’ve used so far.

It is hand size. Seems small to hold but you don’t want extraneous metal when going into tighter spaces. Great opening width to do Bath tap back nuts. Nice and slim jaws which used already when not much to get onto like cistern ball valve washer nuts. The jaws taper slightly so even better for tha

I’ve had this a few months now. And usually come back to write a review after long term use. Can someone have a favourite wrench? I think so. And this is mine. It’s that good I’ve just ordered a second one. As I need a better second wrench for holding fittings whilst tightening with the first. Great tool. Nothing more to be said.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI found myself in a frustrating dilemma when a washing machine repairman came to fix our WM and he couldn’t pull it out far enough due to radiator positioning. Unbelievably, despite having a wide selection of spanners, I didn’t have anything large enough for a standard 30mm plumbing nut connection.

Even the adjustable spanners I had wouldn’t go that wide. Clearly this is something I needed in my toolbox as I think the 30mm is quite a standard size for plumbing. I bought the “6” (150mm)” option, it arrived next day and does the job perfectly. The spanner adjusts up to 34mm, but you can also purchase one that goes up to 50mm on the same page. Depends what you need it for!

Build quality feels pretty solid for the price (12.95) – easily removed the radiator using it. The ‘teeth’ on the wrench give a decent grip (though they did scratch off the faux-chrome coating on the nuts) Not much else I can say. Exactly what I was looking for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for larger nuts such as radiators (30mm).

Spot on for the price. Mine arrived in no time and did the job I needed it to do. So I’m satisfied. I’m sure it will last me a life time so long as I lube it up with some grease now and again. I recommend this product.

Reasonably priced considering this item will last for years as it is made of high grade products. Used correctly it feels comfy, works as it should with hardly any slippage of your preset adjustment. I’ve never had an issue with it however I have only used it for 6 months or so. I have worked with people who have used other more expensive products of a similar design and nature and they tell me that this performs just as well, lasts just a well and feels just as sturdy but does cost less! The main thing for me is that it is vibrant and stands out in your tool kit. You can locate it easily when you put it down due to the fact that it’s got a vibrant coloured handle. It feels robust in the hand and performs perfectly adequate for my needs. I’m a plumber.

Bought for moving a stubborn valve on a radiator but still couldn’t move it. I am convinced that it’s my grip that’s not strong enough and nothing to do with the wrench. It’s comfortable to hold and I’m sure it will be useful on other tasks.

I’m a plumber and this fits the bill perfectly. Much cheaper than bahco’s and so far it seems very strong despite the slim jaws. They open pretty wide too which is perfect. I’m considering getting every size.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHave to say this is a very useful addition to my toolbag. I’m no obsessive DIYer, just someone who likes to keep a decent backup of basic tools to cope with everyday little jobs around the house. Very useful because the first task I gave it was to loosen a badly worn nut set like concrete in an old bathroom tap. Honestly thought it would be Impossible to get a decent grip, never mind budge it, but I set the size (very simple and precise) and with a little firm but gentle coaxing, the nut began to turn – what a grip! This piece of kit is pretty heavy, dropped it on my big toe and knew about it alright, might come in handy on the bedside table, make a good intruder repellent. Anyway, the weight suits me fine, feels reassuringly solid and robust, and the rubbery grip hasn’t let me down yet. Thanks to it’s tapering jaws, this wrench has enabled me to overcome all the jobs I’ve had to face, and while it may appear and feel a little cumbersome at first, it’s been pretty easy to use on the most fiddly and awkward looking tasks so far, so every confidence nothing’s gonna faze it. What’s not to like?

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI usually go for Bahco for adjustables but I bought the 6 inch version of this OX spanner which is handy for access in tight spaces. It opens wider than it should for it’s length. Therefore the handle doesn’t get in the way in a tight spot when tightening a nut. The jaws are also tapered to a thinner point which also helps access nuts in awkward places with pipes next to them etc. The blue on the handle makes it stand out and easier to find, harder to lose. OX do seem to make good tools.
