Slowly but surely replacing my kitchen utensils and equipment for OXO Good Grips – great design, easy to use, easy to clean, hard wearing and durable. Can’t rate highly enough. I personally used Joseph Joseph the melting point is not high, metal type is not working with non sticky pan. My mum said this is in a good length just right for her hand. Not cheap but actually this is the type of kitchenware cannot go for cheap stuff

I love these OXO products but did not really expect this to be better than any other turner. After all, its such a simple thing. But surprisingly it is better. Super non stick and feels very sturdy. Apart from the hefty feeling handle, I think a big plus is that the turner is an aluminum blade covered with silicone, which seems to combine the best of both worlds. Perhaps its just a placebo effect. After all, it is just a turner …

Great for lifting and turning food on pan without damaging the food. Held off for a long time getting one as I didn’t think they would be so good. Delighted I changed.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI must be bored if I’m writing a review on a spatula.
Anyway this one is good, balanced with good grip, but the edge lets it down. It’s not thin enough to get under the food so you end up chasing it round the pan or using your fingers which is not why I bought it.

I will keep it but will sharpen the edge so it works.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI didn’t realise it had been more than 5 years since I purchased this turner.

The damage to the silicone on the side happened less than a year in. I’m almost certain one of my heavy handed kids is responsible, however, it stilled worked up until recently when the end started to break, exposing the metal.
I would probably keep using it if I hadn’t recently invested in some very pricey pans.
I guess 5 years use with 2 adults and 3 teens is pretty good.

4.0 out of 5 stars 5 years use

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersIt’s a great product, everything is good. The only thing is when you cook food with strong smell like curry, the scent stays on it even it has been washed a few times.

I’ve had one for several years, so I know it can withstand at least 3 years of abuse.
It’s great, easy to clean, easy to flip with, grips really well.
The previous one failed at the tip, inside the silicone there is a metal skeleton for the turner, in time – the end tip ripped exposing the metal part, which could scratch off the pans.
But that was 3 years in, come on!

I’ve had one of these for quite a few years (7, maybe 8) and it’s one of my most-used kitchen utensils. It’s till going strong & it didn’t need replacing but I was getting fed up with dragging this out of the dishwasher in order to wash & reuse it (my dishwasher only goes on every 2nd or third day) so bought another. So much better & longer-lasting than nylon turners.

The Oxo flexible Turner has the exact quality I’ve been looking for for a while: it’s flexible (obviously). For me this is an extremely useful feature. It makes this a really useful tool for cooking things like fried eggs and omelettes. It allows you to get underneath the food that a solid turner doesn’t allow you to do so easily.

I’ve now had this product for around a year and can confirm that there has been no problems regarding the heat resistance or washing. Most of the time I do put it in the dishwasher and there has been no sign or wear because of this.

I had an old spatula that was past its best but I liked it. I’ve bought a few different ones in the hope of replacing it but I always went back to the old faithful one. They were either to long or too wide at the head. This one is just right; not too long and the head is a bit smaller than the most commonly used ones. I really like it and have actually now thrown ‘old faithful’ away! Oxo Good Grips have some very well designed pieces and I own a few.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is our second Good Grips silicone turner. The first one served us well in literally daily use for many years (probably 5, 7 or 8 years – a very long time anyway). So when the silicone on our previous Good Grips turner started to peel away (after having made literally thousands of omelettes), we naturally wanted to buy another one as nothing else would do!

We find that this silicone turner is great for getting every last vestige of egg off the pan as we are scrambling eggs or making omelettes.

An incredibly handy tool in our kitchen!

This OXO Good Grips Silicone Flexible Turner is a well made product with a decently sized blade and soft grip handle. i have found this turner to work well with oven trays etc. plus it is kind to non-stick pans. One slight compromise is that the leading edge is bit thicker and not shatrp lie a metal version so it is harder to flip eggs etc. in a frying pan. Overall, a good buy.

Really like this turner overall. The turner itself has metal throughout most of it apart from the very edge which allows the edge to bend a little easier than the rest of it. Little warning though – don’t rest the handle part on anything hot like a frying pan edge because the handle is NOT heat resistant. I rested it for a moment and now have a melted line mark in mine, leaving melted plastic on the side of my frying pan (which I managed to remove).

This is my second one of these. First one wore out after regular use for 4 years, as end of spatula started to disintegrate from over-use.
An avid scratch cook I bought first one in US when visiting my son, before they were available in UK. Perfect tool for flipping anything over, especially good for turning fried eggs. Great for grilling/barbecuing (if mine goes missing it’s because my husband has purloined it!).
Anything a regular spatula can do this one can but better, doesn’t scratch pans and slides easily under food to give good lift-off!
Perfect design, quality materials and comfy handle for ease of use for people with gripping problems (like me with onset of arthritis). Non-stick finish means food doesn’t stick at all. Easy to clean.
