Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersNew recipe - ugh!! ☹️
These have been the only decent tasting protein bars on the market for a long time but now they’ve changed the recipe and they have that horrible fake taste and gluey texture all the others have

What a massive disappointment – if they don’t go back to the old recipe I definitely won’t be buying agai

5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive. Wait until they are on offe
One of the best tasting protein bars on the market but way over priced. I buy them whey are 16 or under. Buy in bulk as you will plough through them

    Cheaper than supermarke
Really good flavour and filling! Good for keto dieters.
Docked one star as one of bars was damaged – the end chopped off and still within the ALREADY open packet. Couldn’t be sure if this happened at manufacture or after so discarded.
Increased the price per bar significantly but hoping my second delivery does not have the same issue

    Tasty tasty tasty !!
Bought these protein bars for my son, who works out quite a bit.
He said they were really tasty and added to his daily protein intake better than other standard confectionery.
Good value for money too !!

The best protein bars I've tasted
I’ve tried a fair few protein bars and not always that found of them but honestly these bars are my go to as a high protein snack even on days I’m not working out.

    Just what your need
Thing is with most protein bars they are normally all the same gooey texture and really sweet tasting but quite bitty and dry at the same time.
These basically taste like a chocolate bar of the shelf and under 2 grams of sugar with 20 grams of protein….your taste buds think your cheating but your not. Just brought the variety pack to try the other flavours…some nearly have no sugar which is crazy because they taste so good

    Taste great but expensive
These are the best tasting protein bars I I have tried and don’t have a powdery texture like a lot of protein bars. I bought them when they were at a good price. Protein bars are over priced and to me, no protein bar is worth more than around 1.50 and as good as these are, they are included. I would only purchase when they work out around 1.50 a bar. Having said that, they are cheaper than buying direct or from supermarket.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best protein bars, no contes
I was always a fan of Grenade protein bars until I tried these. They are the best flavour, consistency, size, texture, etc. you can buy in my opinion. They hardly taste like protein bars, more like a chocolate bar, honestly!

I’ve also tried the plant based bars and some of the other flavours PHD have to offer but the Chocolate Peanut Butter is the best by far. I have one almost everyday as a morning/afternoon snack and I’ve always got a box of them in the house or on order.

BTW they are currently 14.99 direct from PHD. Spend 35 for free delivery. Cheaper than Amazon at the time of writing… although last month Amazon had them at 12.99 for a box so check both places before buying.

Handy meal replacement which helps me stick to my weight loss programme
These dark chocolate high protein bars contain 237 calories and are very tasty. They are high protein with 20g and low sugar (less than 1g). I frequently replace one meal a day with these bars and because I know how many calories etc. in each bar, I am able to monitor my nutritional intake and have been successful in my weight loss and in maintaining that weight loss. Although they contain raspberry, they are not all sweet but even so, they satisfy my occasional craving for something sweet. I keep mine in the fridge, which makes them a little chewy but also means I can eat them more slowly and enjoy their flavour. I don’t feel at all guilty consuming one of these bars whilst maintaining my weight loss because they are my little treat which I have allowed for in my plan. For my other two meals a day, I take care to plan them and monitor my nutrition to try and have a healthy balanced diet. I find them very satisfying.

Flavour not great but substantial snack ba
These are really decent size not small and quite substantial. When I first bit into it I thought the taste was lovely but then you get the yucky aftertaste and after that it was a chore to eat. Did satisfy the appetite though.

    Great, will order more!
Great taste and perfect for on the go snacking. I like to keep sugar intake to a minimum and found nearly all these health/protein bars were packed with sugar and tasted artificial. These have a nice flavour with real peanuts and I find them very filling! Compared to the price charged in shops these are good value for money.
My first order went missing, but the supplier and amazon resolved the problem very quickly and a replacement was sent out the next day.

    Great Tasting Ba
Great tasting bar, which feeds my sweet tooth whilst being a (relatively) healthy snack. They’re quite big too, and I find eating one keeps me satiated for a long period.
I haven’t tried any other flavours yet – next will be the Crunchy Caramel I think.
Delivery was quick and on schedule.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGood bars, but not as nice as carb killa
Tried these as an alternative to the carb killa bars by grenade as I have tried every flavour of them. I think I’ll move back to the carb killa bars as the PhD smart bars aren’t quite as nice but still pretty good. I have found that the caramel filling in the bar quite often leaks out and it’s fairly sticky.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersDecent size, macros and tasty!
I’m normally a grenade carb killa person but the thought of chocolate peanut butter grabbed my attention

The bar itself is a decent size for just under 240 calories

It has a filling of an almost nougat like chocolate peanut butter filling which isn’t too filling. It’s surrounded by crispy bits which give a nice crunch, gooey caramel and smothered in milk chocolate

With 20g protein this is a really tasty bar, a good chocolate peanut butter taste and isn’t a jaw workout like some protein bars can be!

Well recommended and may well be replacing my usual carb killas

Hope you found this helpful 🙂
