No more calc
Seems to be a coal filter. No more calc. Installation was trivial. Came with many tap adaptors, one matched.
We use it for drinking and making tea.
Also has a button to switch to unfiltered output. Thus you do not waste filter lifetime when dishwashing.
Filter has a timer for replacement.
It was very difficult to install on my tap, which had a standard head. The guidebook was not particularly informative. Right now it appears to lean to the side due to the weight imbalance of the filter, which is fundamentally a design issue. I have noticed that my water tastes better now, but I’m not sure if it’s really any better or if it was just the placebo effect. Taking into account all of these issues, it seems a little expensive. Luckily the filters are replaceable apparently (they need replacing every 6 months).

Para empezar ,decir que tiene unos materiales de primera, pero lo importante es el funcionamiento y la calidad del agua ,como funcionamiento es una maravilla, muy fcil de colocar apenas en 5 minutos, el agua que sale del grifo para lavar los platos ,sale con potencia pero no llega a salpicar como si hace lamentablemente el filtro de brita ,la calidad del agua es fantstica, hasta ahora para nosotros y nuestras mascotas compraba montones de botellas de agua y garrafas de 5 litros ,suponiendo a mi bolsillo un gasto monumental cada mes ,eso sin contar los dichosos viajes al supermercado y venir cargados con garrafas de agua o botellas ,el agua de valencia tiene muchsimo cloro a la vez que tambin cal y un olor desagradable ,este filtro de philips a cambiado el sabor del agua totalmente se acabaron los sabores raros con el agua directa del grifo al igual que el olor a cloro tan desagradable ,el agua sabe mejor que muchas aguas de venta en supermercados, lo recomiendo totalmente, si dudas entre este o el Brita ,y habiendo probado ambos te recomiendo este philips ,te gastars menos dinero en filtros ,y el agua est sper buena.

Je suis trs satisfaite du produit . Facile a installer et pratique avec les 2 sorties d eau. Bon systme pour les personnes qui n ont pas envie d acheter des bouteilles d eau . Je recommande.
J’ai utilis le filtre eau Philips X-Guard On Tap Water Filter – vertical pendant environ un mois maintenant, et je suis trs satisfait de ses performances. Le filtre a fait une grande diffrence dans le got de l’eau, qui est maintenant plus claire et plus douce. Je peux galement sentir que l’eau est plus saine, car elle n’a plus le got du chlore ou d’autres contaminants.
L’installation du filtre a t trs facile, et il est trs facile utiliser. Il suffit de le connecter votre robinet de cuisine et de tourner le robinet pour commencer utiliser l’eau filtre. Le filtre a une dure de vie d’environ 1200 litres, ce qui est suffisant pour une famille de quatre personnes.
Je recommanderais vivement le filtre eau Philips X-Guard On Tap Water Filter – vertical tous ceux qui veulent amliorer la qualit de leur eau du robinet. C’est un produit de qualit qui est facile utiliser et entretenir.

Im normally a massive fan of Philips in general and their water solutions but haven’t been lucky with this one, I have had a first unit which arrived 3 months ago it was working great that suddenly started to leak badly, I have had a replacement arrive that was faulty on arrival.
A second replacement has now arrived and is now working great perhaps there was a bad batch. When it works it works fantastically.

Better tasting wate
Right away the water looks clearer and taste nicer. My stomach has less rumbling noises since we installed it.
It took literally 2 minutes to install the filter!
It does impact the water pressure though. If you’re not worried about it, go ahead.
It is easy to install and the price is reasonable but the taste of the water does not change much. However, it made a huge change on the Kettle so seems like it’s working well.
Excellent all round
Had some doubts about the add on connector for non screw uk faucet, but it just about squeezed on with a push.
Performance, this is excellent. The button is easy. The water tastes good. It is almost exactly like the tapp 1 I had before, but filters are cheaper which is unusual for Phillips and I hope stays that way!
Not as effective as a Britain’s filter jug though.
