Was unsure about this and bought based on reviews, but on receiving it is a super sturdy saw that is very cleverly designed and seems like it’s strudy enough to take the abuse people generally give hacksaws.

    – robusto e resistente
    – buon rapporto qualit/prezzo

    Contro:
    – non adatto per tagliare metalli spessi

Si tratta in definitiva di un buon prodotto che fa della versatilit il suo vero punto di forza.

Needed to remove an old earthing rod before area was tiled. Needed to get the cut as close as possible to the ground which made power tools tricky to use and ordinary hacksaws.

Seeing the flexibility of the blade and good reviews purchased this and some extra blades. As you can see from photos managed to cut the pipe. What complicated cutting it is some stones inside the pipe. It did take 2 blades and an hour. The blade was super bendy but strong enough to cut and didn’t go blunt.

I was impressed by how strong the blade was allowing me to saw at this odd angle. Despite a long time using it my hand wasn’t sore or cut which surprised me. If there was one I would like to improve is the ability to lock the blade as at times it did want to work its way out but a small thing considering what it allowed me to do. Definitely worth the money rather than buying cheap stuff with loads of blades you won’t use and go blunt after using them for a few minutes.

If you are a tradesman, you know that there will always be a time a hacksaw is needed. This is the best I’ve ever used, comfortable ergonomic design, versatile, well built, excellent piece of kit, perfect to hold in your hand

This tool came in to its own when trying to remove old electrical conduits from under my floor boards, with only 450mm of room the smaller handle on this junior hacksaw enabled me to get them out quickly without damaging my central heating system!

    highly recommend

I found this quite easy to use. I used this to cut a piece of wood to use as a mount to secure a rack to and found this so easy to use. Even when extending the blade out infront as the wood was thick it was reasonably easy to use. You couldn’t cut a thick piece of wood with the blade tucked right in as there just is not enough room between the blade and the support arm but extending the blade beyond the support arm and using that was my way if doing it. Who says women can’t DIY. This feels really sturdy when using and it’s nice and comfortable to hold. This is a great little gadget to have in your toolbox for those spur of the moments like I had to get my problem rack sorted. I would have said initially that this was on the expensive side BUT on using it and feeling how it feels when using it I would say that it’s about on point price wise. And wouldn’t hesitate to get another.

This is a really useful saw blade.
It has a 300mm saw blade and you can adjust the length of the blade to make it comfortable to use.
You can use it as an angle saw, hacksaw and as a flexible saw.
The saw is able to cut metal , plastic and does the job for wood as well ,but I wouldn’t recommend using it to cut wood unless it is a thin piece of wood.
This is because it cuts the wood fairly slow and not so easy.
The handle of this saw is overall comfortable and the price of 15.99 is not bad for what you get.

Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

Do you want a small, portable, compact, but very sturdy and reliable hacksaw? This Presch Junior Hacksaw is a work of art indeed. It is very flexible, can be used in very intricate areas that are difficult to reach, and is suitable for most small jobs or DIY projects that don’t require a big hacksaw. It is suitable for plastic, metal, stainless steel, and aluminium.

It’s good to have such a small tool around and you can’t imagine how handy it could be.

This saw arrived with a simple cardboard sleeve covering the blade.

The first thing you notice is how sturdy it is. Although the handle is plastic it is good quality and solid. It feels like it will last for years.

There is a simple thumb screw clamp to alter the length of the blade, remove/add the blade bracket or convert to an angled saw. All of this is simple and quick to do. The blade does not slip when the screw is tightened.

The blade is very flexible when the bracket is removed (see picture) and this has been invaluable for cutting off nails and screws flush to the surface they’re protruding from. The straight nature of the handle and flexible blade enables you to cut in tight spaces that would be impossible with a normal hacksaw.

With the bracket in place the blade is surprisingly stiff and I’ve had no problems cutting 15mm and 22mm copper pipe with it.

This is a good quality and versatile little saw that will take any standard 300mm hacksaw blade. It is a great addition to any toolbox and at 12.79 is excellent value, so I’m giving it 5 stars.

I have far to many tools but am always prepared to add to my collection, if a tool is more versatile, easy to use, or in any way better than something I already have. I do use a junior hacksaw from time to time, particularly when I have something to cut and don’t have access to a power tool.

This is an interesting design but despite the mounting being close to halfway along the blade is still surprisingly rigid. I used it to cut through a hard steel bolt on the end of a boating damper, the bolt was too long for the mounting hole and needed shortening by half. I’d cut another one about a week ago, after 10 minutes with my old junior hacksaw I gave up and switched to a power cutter. It still took a further 10 minutes to finish the cut. However, this time, in 10 minutes I’d managed to cut through it fully with this Presch tool. The threads at the cut were relatively unscathed too.

There was almost no flex in the blade and although the handle looks an odd shape it’s actually very easy to grip. I was pleasantly surprised how capable this tool is, I will need to order some spare blades as it’s likely to be my first choice when needing a hand tool for cutting.

At under 13 I think this is excellent value too

5.0 out of 5 stars Very versatile, now on my tool rack for regular use

I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve had to remove a hacksaw blade and use my fingers to hold the blade to cut in tight spaces. This is the solution as it gives flexibility and doesn’t take up as much space as a standard hacksaw. The handle is plastic but comfortable to grip and you can adjust the length of the blade easily enough with a metal knob on the side. The blade does flex but not sure this is any different than other blades. The narrow handle design is the main feature of this hacksaw. Tested on a metal door bar and cut through as good as any Ive tried and blade is still sharp with no teeth missing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful in hard to reach places

This mini hacksaw is very cute, it isn’t as small as I thought.

Blade moves in and out very well

I would say instead of saying a mini hacksaw, this is a junior saw as it is multi purpose

Sharp blade which is strong, and lengthens, the hands can hold the top, so that the metal cutter is protected.

For the price I wasn’t expecting much, but actually it is really good for difficult projects.

Intricate areas are always a pain, and the blade copes well, so cutting a dream

Do not expect a little saw to cut big chunks out of metal, but for every day jobs that require precision

A decent weight to hold, however not to heavy.

The blade can moved from one side to the other, then tighten the screw for safety.

My husband is delighted with the hacksaw.

    Decent price

    Thank you to the seller

    I hope my review helps

The saw blade is easily adjusted by the screw, you just twist to release it and then tighten it back up.
The handle is sturdy and comfortable to grip, much better on the hand than the standard ones.
The only thing I don’t like is that there isn’t a guard you can put on when it’s not in use.

4.0 out of 5 stars Adjustable length

This is the third tool from Presch which I got from Amazon Vine programme. And like the other two, this one impressed me as well. First thing that caught my eyes was that how big the handle is, I could easily hold it with a bit of room to spare. This makes it easy to operate. The included saw is of good quality and I have few others which would fit this one easily.
The mechanism to extend/change the saw blade is very easy, just have to loosen up one nut which can be done using your hands, no tools needed. One can also use it as an angled saw as the saw blade can be put at right angle (almost) to the handle.
Only issue, a small one, is that it does not have any protective sleeve for the saw blade. That would have saved the blade as well users from any accidents.
Still, you get a quality tool for 12.79. I think it is a great little addition to any DIYers.
