Item was a little fiddly to put together as the hole for the bolt was still covered over with the plastic of the main unit. Had to cut the hole out myself and then hammer the bolt home so that it would engage with the nut on the holder.
Unit was fine after that and looks great. Holds the parasol nice a tightly.
Love every bit of it except the tube for fitting the parasol into was too big for the parasol stick, so had to add pieces of wood into it to steady the parasol which blew off on the day we used both! ::)). Make sure to take measurements before purchasing!
Thought this would be ideal for my umbrella it rocks in the wind and nothing to block the hole off when not in use so not to be left outside during winter months .
