Awesome bar. The rise, shallow drop, sweep-back, narrowish on the hoods and wide on the drops. This thing is the bomb. I’m 6’1″ and the smallest size works great for me on my (56c) Surly Long Haul Trucker. About 400 miles on ’em so far, just ordered the same set-up for my Surly Pacer road bike.

I only recently started gravel riding and found the original bar (38 cm) on my bike WAY too narrow (I’m used to mountain biking). I got the 50 cm bar and it made a huge difference. Much more comfortable and so much better control – especially when out of the saddle.
I was tempted by a less expensive bar, but choose this one because of the extra rise and back sweep. I went all in and also got the REDSHIFT Cruise Control Grips and bar tape. Couldn’t be happier with the total purchase.

    Huge improvement!

I got the 53’s and boy oh boy are they massive. I typically run 44’s but went with the big haas’s for my grocery getter/ party bike. Love the flare on the drops, and have since added the cruise control drop grips. The big width feels amazing on trails and is a happy medium on the roads. Running them with a 60mm stem which feels appropriate

I added this to the RedShift stem I had purchased from the manufacturer. With the addition of the companion grips and long tape, my Domane, with 37cm tires has turned into a remarkable little gravel machine. I really like the flare of the bar, but think it is elevated through the addition of the grips, etc.,.
    Absolutely worthy of your ride.

Really really like these handlebars. Bit tricky getting the levers perfect, but well worth it. The drops are not as low as a normal set of bars, making the position easier. Also, it has really helped my hand numbness. Not cured it, but dramatically improved my hand comfort.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWas looking for a wider bar for more control and a taller/shorter stem to give my back a break on longer bikepacking trips.
The drop, flare and rise are perfect… AND… the tops are slightly swept back — didn’t need a new stem!
The sizing is a bit weird. I was riding a 46 cm bar – 47 wasn’t “bigger” enough
    — 50 cm was big jump from 46 cm but the sweep makes up for it.
Really, really like these bars – exactly what I was looking for — better control, higher up and further back.

Got these for my Kona Rove. With the addition of the drop grips I suddenly find it extremely comfortable to spend a lot of time down in the drops whereas before I almost never got down there. I genuinely feel that this form factor of drop bar should become the new default on gravel bikes.

These bars coupled with the cruise control and drop bar grips are by far the best handlebar system for gravel bike riding! I have the loop with the bag also. The ergonomics are superb! I highly recommend them! It will enhance your riding experience!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWhat a great set of bars! The loop so far feels more decorative than functional, but it does look great. Obviously you can choose the right width for you and I seem to have nailed it! The width feels perfect. I rarely ever ride in the drops in other bars, but because of a shallow drop and a nice flair I find I spend more time in the drops in these bars than any other. Overall really pleased with these bars.

Simply plug these are Great I wish they a had a carbon version for my road racing bike, but none the less I have them and while I might not be as aero as I once was with narrower bars these make you Enjoy the ride 10 fold an absolute must for anybody who rides longer distances or just want more comfortable bars!! Please com out with a carbon version for reasonable price

The options and wider grip were exactly what I was missing. So glad I bought these. Used to spend all my time on the outside of the flats, but now spend time a lot more time in the drops. Completely changed the geo of my bike in a way that I can’t explain but that feels good. The best “alt bar” I’ve been able to find on my bike with drop bars without having to replace the drivetrain.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe bars are the bomb, love them to bits.
HOWEVER! Be aware when you by these very wide bars your hydraulic lines and cable lines might not reach the super supple width of your latest purchase.

As such this little niggly, woopsie daisy has cost more than the bars to accommodate said bars.

    Just a heads up….

The most comfortable bars I’ve used in any hand position. Makes the drops more accessible, wide enough on the tops to feel in control on single track, long rides with no body aches. Love them.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersBasically photos tells everything you need to know about this bar. Only one thing I wish they improve is maybe drop weight by 50-80 grams, but still great bar. I rode across the country in July 2021 from SF to NY.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersMultiple comfortable hand positions and you feel very safe and stable in the drop position. You lose a little bit of aerodynamics relative to a traditional drop position, but the comfort and stability it provides in that position are well worth it. The Aero grip in the middle is also surprisingly comfortable when you take on the aero tuck. Best road or gravel handlebar on the market.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThese bars were just what I needed to transform my Scott Addict into a “gravel-adjacent” bike. Equipped with the RedShift drop bar grips, the drops on these things are crazy comfortable. Using the loop as aero bars takes a bit of practice, but it works when you really need to get out of the wind.

Love these bars, I’m 220-230 and wide shoulders due to lifting, so these were a godsend on my gravel bike, don’t feel bunched up or bent over and didn’t feel like I wasn’t going to die on every descent due to lack of the control.

I thought I was getting the bar that had the loop. Is it possible to exchange? The bar looks like a quality bar and very light. Just wish it had the loop

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThese bars are exactly what I was look for on my gravel bike. Make sure you get a fairly stretchy bar tape due to the extended length. I went with 50. Be aware they are very wide. Almost like a MTB.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCouldn’t wait to get hold of these. Bought one standard set for my Fairlight Secan gravel bike (already use Redshift’s fantastic shock stop stem and seatpost – game changers…) and one with the add on for my Kona Explosif “monstercross” conversion, again with the shock stop stem and seatpost.

These bars are super comfortable. I’ve added the cruise control top and bottom grips. Superb idea and so well executed.

The shape and dimensions of the bar are great, I went for the 47mm in both.

What’s next for Redshift? Saddle maybe?

    I love this company.
