This was really cheap but good reviews so thought I would give it a go . What a fab little steam cleaner. Plenty of steam and quick to heat up. A little faffy to fill but well worth the buy

After only 5 months of daily use, it began to overheat and shut down after only 2 minutes use. My home has a water softener, so it is not because of hard water. Kettle, coffee maker etc. never scale up. I would send it back, but the return costs outweigh the item cost, and the seller will disclaim any responsibility, saying it should be sent to the manufacturer. Trying to talk to someone human at Amazon has become almost impossible.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersi have wooden and tiled floors that at this time of year get very muddy and covered in cat and dog paw marks . with the steam mop i can clean the floor and have a better peace of mind that i have cleaner floors with less germs and bacteria .
I am 5’2 and the handle is just right for me ( can be shortened for confined spaces or hand held )
heats up super quick ,and can be used to steam floors , carpets and soft Furnishings ( helped get rid of the unusually Stubborn and unexpected flea infestation this year .
    10/10 for the Steam Mop!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersEasy to put together although the blue plastic plate at the bottom keeps coming off if you lift the steamer up, other than that it works great. Water goes down quickly too so you have to keep an eye on it. Works great on the carpet and rugs which have dog hairs on them, got a lot up and made it easier to hoover up the rest. Good for the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGot this as saw you can get replacement pads, which is great but this is awkward to push along and if you have a sticky patch to clean up it can take a while to clean. You end up going over the same area a few times. It’s good but you get what you pay for.

I saw this product on the gadget show it was rated top out of three others which was more expensive. They gave a demonstration how to use it to. I looked at the reviews on here which were good. I am now 72 so going on hands and knees out. I am very pleased with this product does and excellent job on both floors and carpet. Very easy to assemble well worth the price tag, and very light to use.

Very lightweight and easy to use. Second steamer have owned and this is a great product. Floor pads easy to wash and keep their shape. All floor cleaning/hoovering products could do with longer leads – not just this one!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis steam mop is fantastic for the price! It does exactly what you need it to. It heats up quickly and does t leave the floor soaking wet so it dries quick too. I use it about 3 times a week as I have a puppy and I use zoflora in a spray bottle to spray on the floor before mopping as I didn’t want to use any other products directly in the mop and it works perfectly. Removes any dirty marks easily. Love it! Definitely recommend

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBeen using this a few months now, need to buy better pads.
It’s great on carpets, not fond of lino, loves wood.
When I say not fond of lino you need to push it a little harder than on wood because the lino heats up a bit.
Feel new pads will rectify that.
It’s a nippy little thing, excellent at cleaning with just water.
Does what it says on the tin.
    Love i

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHave used twice. Like a lot
Easy to put together, to use, to dismantle. Could do with a hook attached to handle to store away but have solved this problem with a couple of cable ties.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe best purchase ever for my lino tiles laminate and carpet. My kitchen was a revelation I normally spend ages with products and mops and you can still see where heaviest foot traffic has been. One use of steamer and kitchen like new. Carpets and rugs have colours in them I had forgotten. Lightweight easy to use and store. Fantastic value for money. Buy one!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersArrived quickly, easy to put together and use. Heats up quickly and is easy to manoeuvre used on both wood and cushion floors. Only issue is the plastic vase doesn’t stay in very well, unless it’s me.otherwise it would have 5 stars

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersJust a few few shortcomings with this item, 1st shame the mop head is not the best shape for getting into or near corners. 2nd Filling the water tank is very difficult as, it’s at the back and so close to the electrical cable. 3rd The carpet attachment does not click into place and, keeps off when your using it, other than that for the price works well but, I wouldn’t buy it next time.

4.0 out of 5 stars likes and dislikes

Golden Review Award: 122 From Our UsersI haven’t had a steam mop in at least 10 years so really don’t have any comparison for the performance.

I bought this as I have carpet everywhere except my kitchen and bathroom so didn’t really want anything fancy if possible so I was searching for something cheap, not really bothered about features. At 29.99 with so many reviews, I went for this one.

It was very easy to set up, didn’t need to refer to the instructions it’s all very straight forward.

It’s a very simple backwards and forwards mop only, no swivelling head or anything like this. This is fine for me, as it’s just two rooms with clear floors and aside from the toilet and sink, no furniture to navigate going round or underneath.

To list the pros – it heats up very quickly, I didn’t time it but it really was around 20-30 seconds. Cord is very long, I can plug it in in my hallway and this way it reaches the kitchen in one direction and the bathroom in the other direction. I love that the pad on the bottom is just the right texture. Not so smooth it just glides over everything, and not too rough either as I have Lino floor that wasn’t installed particularly well so I was worried about damaging it. I can’t stand string mops as the buckets take up space I really don’t have, and as my floor isn’t perfectly level I find that standard sponge/bar type mops require me to mop in every single direction to properly clean the floor and still need touching up by hand. But with this mop the pad is thick and textured enough to really go at anything stuck into the floor. I bake a lot and always manage to splash some batter onto the floor, this mop very easily handled a dried blob of it by holding the mop over it for a few seconds then making a couple of backwards and forwards passes. My cat also eats in the kitchen and flings her wet food around everywhere, as long as it’s not too dried I think the mop could handle this with relative ease as well. I just pour a capful of flash all purpose and splash it strategically around the room and mop over it to spread it around, this + the steam does a great job.

The steam distributes through the whole head very well, it’s too bulky to fit down the sides of my toilet and sink so I’ll have to do those with a wipe, but some marks were on my floor where I could juuuuust fit the pointed nose of the mop and they were cleaned so I’m confident the steam does come out of the whole surface area.

Emptied most of a 500ml water bottle into the mop and this was more enough to thoroughly do my (relatively small) bathroom and kitchen with a strong supply of steam, the tank is barely less than half full even after both rooms.

I can’t speak for longevity but I’m pretty sure I saw a warranty leaflet in the box so I’m not overly worried. Even if I only get a year out of this mop that still means it cost just 2.50 a month to use which I can’t argue with.

Considering I usually spend 20+ minutes on my knees scrubbing my wonky floors by hand, I couldn’t be happier that I can now do it in 5 minutes much more comfortably with this mop.
