These smart plugs are ideal to set for your lights at anytime due to being able to put on or off remotely,or tough Alexa brilliant idea and so easy to set up.

Decent value for money (18 for two). smaller than any other smart plugs I’ve had.
Indicator light is more visible than all other lights I’ve had, being on the front surface rather than the side.

I have purchased a number of different smart plugs but these have been the easiest to work with so far. A no hassles setup. Got it integrated into my Google Home setup and Home assistant in no time. They work great with my automations. 10/10, would buy these again!!

First of all, the setup process for this smart plug is very straightforward and easy to follow. All you need to do is download the Meross app and connect the smart plug to your home Wi-Fi network. Once you have it set up, you can control the plug with your voice through Alexa, or with the Meross app on your smartphone.

One thing that I really like about this smart plug is that it’s compact and doesn’t block the other outlet when it’s plugged in. This is a common problem with some larger smart plugs, but the Meross 13A WiFi Smart Plug Mini is small enough to allow you to use the other outlet at the same time.

In terms of performance, I found that the smart plug worked very reliably and responded quickly to commands through Alexa or the Meross app. I also appreciated the fact that you can set schedules and timers for the plug, which is great for things like turning on a lamp at a specific time each day.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Meross 13A WiFi Smart Plug Mini to anyone who is looking for an affordable and easy-to-use smart plug that works with Alexa. It’s a reliable and convenient way to control your appliances and devices remotely, and the compact design is a big plus.

I already have a Meross smart extension lead so I was confident this plug would work too, which it did. It’s also very slim and didn’t get in the way of the power switch.

Wife thinks I’m a magician because we can turn on and off all the lights in the kitchen, including the plinth lighting just by speaking to Alexa. We even do all the xmas trees either verbally or on a timer.

These units are so small they fit in anywhere. I highly recommend and if I had more lights I’d buy more of this brand straight away.

There’s a lot of smart plugs out there but I bought these as it was a good price and delivery was SO fast. Simple packaging…I opened, installed and used these plugs in around 3 minutes! Highly recommend

I have been using the Meross standard plugs for some time for control of our low-level lighting and Christmas lights. I have found them to be good quality and reliable once installed. Installation has sometimes been an issue as some of our standard plugs didn’t play well with the Android app. However, using an Apple device for software registration cured this after which they worked with Android. These mini plugs are much smaller and the software installation is a lot better – fewer steps, quicker and more reliable. Use with Alexia is also easy. I can’t now think why I would want to buy a standard size plug. The Mini version is much better.

Bought these to control two sets of Christmas tree lights as Tapo plugs were long delivery dates. However, I am very pleased with them and they can be controlled without problem by Alexa if required or meross app.

Purchased this item to replace an aging remote control activated socket and product is excellent. Does exactly what it says. Point to note is this particular model requires 2.4 Ghz WiFi broadcasting so if your router only supports 5 Ghz then you will need to get an alternative model.

One thing I only found out today is that product can be accessed whilst you’re away from your home. I switched on my external Xmas lights and when I got home they were in full glory – handy if you want to use it to activate internal lamps to make it look like you’re home, whilst you’re away. Will definitely buy additional units.

I’ve tried a few different smart lights, plugs etc. This was the easiest one I’ve used to set up. It integrated with Alexa easily. Has standard but good options for configuration. I did have one problem. I had a TP-Link power adaptor for a wireless extension on the same cable length (two sockets near each other) as one of these plugs and they did interfere with each other. Once I moved one of them, it was fine.

The setup is relatively easy compared to some other brands I’ve tried and once the Meross app is linked with Alexa the new plugs are available to Alexa immediately. Works well using voice commands or routines

Have purchased a number of different brand smart plugs in past, and always found them frustrating to set up and integrate with Alexa. These were so easy and work perfectly. Definitely recommend

Easy addition to the ones that I already own and use.
What I like about these plug sockets are :
Size, much smaller than the original ones.
    Easy to use.
Easy to program and integrate with the app.

    What I didn’t like:
manual override button on the side. Should be on top.

    What I would like:
The energy usage feature to be available in these miniature plugs.

Otherwise a great alternative to hive.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a quick review of one aspect of the Meross MSS110 mini smart plug (bought as a 2 pack).

For reasons of a somewhat nomadic lifestyle I use these 2 mini plugs with an echo dot 3rd gen on a WiFi network from my mobile’s hotspot. The plugs are switched on and off “at the wall” regularly. The WiFi hotspot is turned on and off frequently and the mobile is often out of the house. I find that the smart plugs are working as intended without needing to reconnect them individually to the WiFi… they take 30s to a minute to reconnect automatically when my WiFi hotspot is turned on again and then everything works.

The reason for this review is that there is an identical looking meross mini smart plug, the MSS210mini, where a few reviewers reported that if their WiFi signal went down they had to go around to each plug to “reconnect” them (whatever that meant) . If this is true that would be problematic for use with an occasional WiFi hotspot. Note that I cannot speak for the MSS210 directly, only what the reviewers reported…

There didn’t seem to be reviewers reporting a similar problem with the MSS110 mini (this plug I’m reviewing) so I risked it, paid 90p more, and I can report that intermittent WiFi connection isn’t causing a problem for these plugs… they just conveniently work.

Basically I’m writing the review relevant to my use case which I was searching for before I purchased them yesterday…

I have tried lots of smart plugs and I must say these are the best plugs by far. They connect in less than a minute and also connect to Alexa in no time at all. They also fit in the socket without interfering with the switch. I can’t praise these plugs enough.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy first venture in to smart devices Setup is OK through the Meross app, no big drama. Then through Home Assistant HACS there is the Meross LAN integration. HA then finds them and integrates them easy. Can then setup HA schedules or webhooks to control them. No internet required.

I’m using mine with a webhook trigger to turn on the socket where my external HDD is connected, run my backup script then turn the socket off. Works surprisingly well.

I have some if the power monitoring Meross sockets too and they also integrate and work well with HA

I have embraced the whole Google smart home thing and have many smart switches quite a few of them Melrose which always perform perfectly. I like the square design but they are a little bulky so I was thrilled with these new mini ones which are perfect. The secret of an easy install is to do it in an area where where your WiFi signal is very strong. Once set up You can move it to wherever you want. During set up it will want to connect to it’s own server which as no WiFi access. Your phone will therefore try to switch it back to standard WiFi so it’s important if given the option you tell your phone not to do tha

Well packaged. Very slim in comparison to the original meross smart plug (of which I have 4). Used these mini smart plugs to controll garden lights and a fountain. Furthest smart plug is about 30ft from the nearest room and there.are no problems controlling it with the meross app on my phone. App is easy to use and initial set-up using the app is very straightforward. This is the second set of these mini smart plugs I have purchased and I certainly will by them again as the need arises.

I have a very large aquarium and it’s difficult for me to get to the light switches so I bought this pk of 2. I was a bit scared as some of the reviews said they couldn’t link the plugs to alexa and I am not tech savey. I needed have worried I found it quite simple and quick love them I will be buying more

The smart plugs arrived prompt and well packaged. Once unpacked I downloaded the media’s app and proceeded to set them up. They were so easy and quick to set up and use with Alexa, it literally took a couple of minutes. I use them with 2 table lamps which were a bit awkward to switch on and off and it is so much easier now, I can control them using voice control through Alexa. They can also be operated through the app and you can set timers to switch on and off which is ideal for security when on holiday. I like the fact that the plugs are small, they look very neat. I would highly recommend these smart plugs, I intend to buy more.

Got this as it is 13A rated and said it works with the SmartThings Samsung app. I was not disappointed. You have to set up with the Meross app first which wasn’t difficult as the instructions matched the equipment. Then added into SmartThings through their integration list. Probably only took me 10 minutes start to finish. Already recommended the product to others these plugs are a life saver for turning things off when the plugs are behind cupboards.

I have bought a dozen Meross products (smart plugs and smart lights) and they all perform flawlessly. This low profile smart plug looks so much better then my older “larger” ones. The App is great and connects easy with my Google Home setup. Very responsive as well – as is all Meross devices.
I chose Meross as didn’t want to fork out a fortune on a Hub as Meross connects directly to your WiFi network and Google and Amazon just pick them up.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI found this quite tricky to set up using my iPhone. It didn’t pick up my main wifi so had to set it to my ‘guest’ network rather then the main network. Also there is not option to save your password and it only asks for it once, no second time to confirm it.. Plus if you use a long password (maybe longer than 6 characters) it won’t allow you to set it up with Amazon Alexa. I read this in a previous review so changed mine to a 6 character one and it worked.

However once set up the app is easy to use to set routines etc and the plug itself is nice and compact and seems well made.

These are much smaller than the original Meross plugs and would highly recommend them.

The smaller size means they no longer meaure how much energy is used in the app, but since I only looked at that a couple of times with the older/larger plugs am happy these are so much smaller.

App does a great job and nice to set for setting up schedules. Works happily with Alexa just a shame they’re not Apple Home compatable but theses are the mini versions and bought as a twin pack they are much cheaper than other options so happy that I bough

Really easy to setup with Meross app and then adding to Alexa was simple. If you are using Alexa, name the device so that it is easy to speak the command. At first I named my first one “porch Christmas lights”, when I realised I would have to use the name every time, I shortened it to “porch”. Alert from that, the small foot print means that the plug does obscure the adjacent plug, which was always an issue with previous smart plugs. Great product, easy setup, lots of features, highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersBought these as I wanted a couple more to control my christmas decorations. Really easy to set up once the app Is downloaded. The hardest part is remembering my wifi password so they can connect to my home network though once you have put it in the app it remembers so you dont have to remember it for any future smart devices you want to set up. Works seamless with alexa. Once you have your accounts linked the alexa app picks up the new plugs straight away and start using the voice commands. These mini plugs are also much smaller than the previous ones I have had as you can see from the pictures you dont loose any sockets if you are using a multi way extension.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little smart plugs size improvement on the last model
