These are great! They are small enough to fit onto window sills or small spaces. They charge up really well and give good light. I would not use them outdoors though. I cant comment on longevity / durability yet as I have only had them a few days.

We have used outside solar lights like these for some years to add some interest to our garden at night time. The light is far too weak to actually use them for illumination, but we never expected them to. Another warning: they need daylight to charge up – and are pretty feeble in the short December days, which are often overcast anyway. Reviews written in winter are bound to reflect this. But by Easter these lights will last until bedtime and more. We’ve used a number of different lights of this type. They do take quite a battering outdoors and they typically don’t last more than a year. These ones look identical to the ones we bought before, all of which are still going strong. The design of the lid looks very robust and so far these lights have performed just as well as the earlier ones.

Like so many I have bought multiple garden solar lights over the years. The usual result is a few weeks, maybe a couple of months and then nothing.

I bought these in June 2022 without much hope but full of good intention.

To my amazement here we are end January 2023 and they are still working. Update still working May 2023! I am impressed!

They have been hanging on my garden fence all this time, never took them in because I didn’t think they would survive so not worth the effort until dead totally!

We have had little sunshine for the passed couple of months but when the sun comes out even just for a bit then so do my lamps. V V V impressed. If they make it through this summer I will feel its job done and worth buying .. more so than any other solar garden lamps I have ever bought.

Oh a couple did fill up with water during the torrential UK rainfall but they carried on working and have all been unscrewed and emptied and back to normal. Battery pack is at the top so has never got drowned.

Received well packed to prevent damage in transit. Easy to use – literally remove them from the box, unscrew the top to access on/off toggle switch, move switch to on position, re screw top in position & place where wanted – easy as that. So far proved durable & give good illumination. Proving weatherproof against rain / showers. Happy with purchase. Happy to repeat buy.

I ordered these to help decorate our forest wedding venue:

    – The mason jars arrived well packaged in a decent box with foam around each.
    – They’re a slightly bigger mason jar, with the lights inside uncoiled.
    – Quality wise, they feel of a decent enough quality and like they could withstand a bit of bashing.
    – The solar panels are on the lids so no need to lay any ground spikes.
    – The lights charge well in the sun, but battery life is poor. The lights only lasted 1 hour or 2 at best…
    – The look of the lights and the mason jars is excellent and they are a stunning decoration.

They need improvement in battery life. Otherwise they are great and I would recommend them!

I orderd these because gadget lighting is my thing they look appealing so 6 came in a box all solar panel with good luck wrote on a jam-jar and a metal hanger to hang them up if needed whilst testing them the wind blew one over and smashed it straight away these are really light in weight that is my only issue the sun seemsc to power them enough through nite so no issues there , there good but at price when recived is a different story

hese are fabulous i’m in love with them they cam well packed and secure in a box there are six and all are solar powered they auto switch on when it starts to get dark and they look so pretty placed in random spots on my outdoor decking. they are excellent quality there is an on/off switch on the base. the only thing I’m not totally sold on is the wire handle but it is a typical look for a mason jar.

This set of solar lights contains six jars. Each one is medium size with “good luck” curved on the glass so they look nice closely. They are easy to assemble just hang them on hooks or lay them on surface. After charging for daytime they are beautifully shiny at night. They are water proof so you can put them in garden for sure. They are like stars lighting up my garden. Very pretty. Highly recommend.

My friend wanted to decorate her garden which was the venue for her hen party, and so these lovely lights had their first outing a couple of weeks ago. WE strung them up in the trees and as it got gradually darker and they really began to show up it all looked magical.

The jars are good strong thick glass, and each jar has 30 LED lights — my advise would be to take them out, untangle them a bit and put them back in loosely thereby, giving more space to each little light. Don’t forget to switch each jar on and place them where they’re going to get enough daylight/sunshine to power them.

They come well packed in a box, so can be easily packed away should you want to store them.

At 30 a pack — or 5 per jar — they’re not cheap but, hopefully, will last a long time.

    I love them.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have mixed feelings about these, some good, some bad.
    – First of all, the jars feel quite solid, so I really like that. I don’t know if they’ll last in the stormy winds though, as I was afraid they’ll get blown away or damage the house when blown towards glass, so they were moved away during the storms.
    – Solar panel on top of the jars are about as big as they can be, so that’s good as well.
    – Each one has a handle so they can be hung up rather than just left on the floor or surface.
    – The string lights aren’t organised very well on receipt, you do need to put in some effort to arrange them for them to look nice, unfortunately. A bit more time consuming, as they’re not ready from the get go, and some of them are tangled up quite badly.
    – Each string light is embedded to the lid, some of them don’t feel very well made though, so quality is a concern.
    – They last OK in time, but not super amazing.
    – Technically waterproof, as these claim to be IP65 approved, meaning they can be in rain, but cannot submerge in water. This should be OK, and are much better than IP44 approved ones.
    – 28.99 for 6 makes it 4.83 for one, and to be honest, given the length of the string lights, the jars, the solar panel to power them. The value isn’t too bad. The price is comparable to many alternatives.

Overall, 3.5 – 4 stars, but I will say it’s closer to 4 stars because the overall features are solid and the price is OK.

These lights make a pretty display. They are stable when stood up and there is a handle to hang them so you have lots of choices where you place them.
They are not really bright enough for illumination, but make for good mood lighting. There are 6 in the pack.

The web page describes them as “Each mason jar solar light has a waterproof gasket on the cap to prevent rainwater from seeping into the bottle, while the cap is made of rust-proof metal “. Neither statement is true — there is no gasket and the cap is made from sprayed plastic.

These are such pretty lights. Set in Mason jars, that could be reused if no longer required for lights.
The lights are warm and bright and look amazing when lit, either indoors or out.
They look so pretty dotted around our small garden. Like a fairy land!

Strongly made jars and sturdily fitted lights

I really like the effect of the mason jar lights, I received a box of six.
Each jar lid has a solar panel to enable the lights to be charged using the sun.
If you unscrew the lid there is an on/off switch.
The lights are thin and look to be a little flimsy , however they do give off a nice yellow glow once they are charged.
The jars have a carry handle so they can be carried or hung wherever you intend to use them.
The jars do have the words good luck on them, which did not bother me for the use I had intended them for.

I love these kind of lights as they just look fabulous in our garden. We have recently done some work around the garden and these look wonderful out there.

When the jar lights arrived they were packaged in a nice strong box and inside they were held really well in their packaging to make sure that altogether they were not damaged on delivery.

The jars come as a six pack each containing a solar lid and a string of 30 led lights inside that light up. On the jar you get a lovely message in the glass saying Good Luck which is nice.
Setting up is so easy – you simply lift off the solar lid, turn it upside down and there you find the on/off switch to the lights.

Now i so wanted to give this a 5 star because they look fantastic and work a treat, however i feel that the wired handle is not very good – this should have been made of rope or something a bit better looking and stronger. I have some large versions of these that come with rope and i would happily hang them however i feel the handle on these wouldn’t be strong enough for me so that is why the star is one less.
The price is spot on for me at 29.99 when writing so i would be happy with that.

The look great though and overall i would recommend them

These are really nice medium sized solar jars – kind of shabby sheek / easy going style that we all like in our family.

Each and every one of them charges fine and works really well, giving out decent light to last all evening (after a days charging – it changes fine during normal English winter’s day).

The light is soft yellowish white, really cosy.

They produce constant continuous light – there are no flicker effect or such like – thank God for that 😉

We are all really happy with them, using then on our dinning table at night – the six of them generate enough light to have a drink and a bite.

These lamps come very well protected in a strong cardboard box, each lamp being packed separately, there is a clear instruction sheet included.
The jars have a screw top and inside the lid is the on/off switch and the string of tiny seed lights. Although they are made of glass they don’t feel fragile however they need to be placed where they will not fall. I haven’t decided yet where to put them permanently but for illustration I tried them round the pond and highlighting the edge of the conservatory steps, I think that they will look lovely in the apple tree but I am not sure how much sun they will get, something to try later. I really like these jars, they are a bit different from the usual design garden light and they look good in my garden.

This is a good set of solar lights. The packaging is very secure, all jars were in perfect condition when delivered.

They light up very well, straight from the packaging.

One thing you need to be aware of is that all jars have the words good luck embossed within the glass. No problem for me as I’m using them in my garden but if you were thin king of gifting these, the recipient may wonder why you’re wishing them good luck.

5.0 out of 5 stars Warm glowing lights

These are simple mason jars with the words good luck, that can be stood or hung up. They are nice and bright when they come on, understandably, these will light up much longer during summer.

You can adjust the light wire to spread the lights out a bit more inside the jar, as when mine arrived the lights were tightly wrapped, which made it look like there were less lights inside.

Well protected for transport too, as two lots of polystyrene wraps around the jars top and bottom.

These solar-powered lights look lovely in the garden and also give a nice ambience to my living room and bedroom windows. The lights are delicate but put out a decent amount of brightness to give enough light to see where I’m going in the dark.

The solar lights do require a lot of sunshine to be at full power, So cloudy days can reduce the amount of output. This is to be expected with the British weather, But overall this is a lovely set of mason jar lights.

I was a bit skeptical when I read the instructions that these lights needed 8 hours of full & direct sunlight to charge them. Living in the UK (& it’s February) this seemed like an impossible task. However, it worked! I left them in the garden & they went off when it got light outside, then came back on again when it became dark. This was despite a mizzly day. They are on a bendy wire inside the jars so you can arrange them as you wish. The only thing I don’t like is the writing on the side of all of them – ‘good luck’. Seems strange. Overall though I love them!

As soon as my partner (the gardener of the house) opened the box, she exclaimed ‘these are so cute!’. She couldn’t wait for it to get dark so she could see what they look like!

Expensive but very good, and you can certainly see where the money went. The jars are made of the thicker glass you see in jam jars, and not the cheaper thin decorative glass. Each of the jars contains a string of 30 LEDs, and each of those 30 LEDS is as bright as the older ‘single LED on a stake’ garden lights from a few years ago. The technology has certainly come on a fair bit!

Perfect for hanging in a tree (but be aware they are still glass, so make sure there is grass underneath!) or left freestanding. The lights are a warm yellow (think natural candlelight) and look the part.

There are brighter solar LEDS out there (and we have some for lighting a path), but none look as good as these when you are aiming for decoration and ambience given the brightest ones tend to be a colder blue.

When you get the product, be sure to remove and untangle the lights per jar before replacing them back into the same jar. Reason being that the lights are not very spaced out when you get them, and they sit in the bottom half of the jar. As you can see from my photo, spacing them out makes your jars look as if they are brimming with light!

Perfect for the summer, but I’d tend not to leave them out in the winter – or at least, my partner won’t as she says ‘these are to be saved for best’.

    Overall, a very satisfied customer!

Wonderfully packed. Very simple on/off to get them going. The jars themselves are sturdier than might have been expected, which is especially good for outside use. We’ve picked them up thinking that we’ll dot them around the garden in the summer but have found that we’re doing the same indoors. The light is soft and warm (although not as antique yellow as the photos suggest), so they’ve made for really clever sort of nightlights for the bathroom, down by the front door, on the windowsill in the kitchen.

Solar powered mason jars look stunning in the garden during summertime. They add a lovely ambiance which is great when the sun goes down and your sitting out with friends.
These jars are of a good quality, the solar panel is a good size on the lid so will charge well and last well into the night.
Good quality and good price, you can’t go wrong with these.
